۱ 1 این است منازل بنی‌اسرائیل که از زمین مصر با افواج خود زیردست موسی وهارون کوچ کردند.

These, are the departures of the sons of Israel whereby they came forth out of the land of Egypt by their hosts, —in the hand of Moses and Aaron.

۲ 2 و موسی به فرمان خداوندسفرهای ایشان را برحسب منازل ایشان نوشت، واین است منازل و مراحل ایشان:

And Moses wrote their comings forth by their departures, at the bidding of Yahweh, —and these, are their departures by their comings forth.

۳ 3 پس در ماه اول از رعمسیس، در روز پانزدهم از ماه اول کوچ کردند، و در فردای بعد از فصح بنی‌اسرائیل درنظر تمامی مصریان با دست بلند بیرون رفتند.

So then they brake up from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month, on the morrow of the passover, came forth the sons of Israel with an uplifted hand, in the sight of all the Egyptians;

۴ 4 ومصریان همه نخست زادگان خود را که خداوند ازایشان کشته بود دفن می‌کردند، و یهوه بر خدایان ایشان قصاص نموده بود.

when the Egyptians, were burying them whom Yahweh had smitten among them, every firstborn, —when, upon their gods, Yahweh had executed judgments,

۵ 5 و بنی‌اسرائیل از رعمسیس کوچ کرده، درسکوت فرود آمدند.

Thus then the sons of Israel brake up from Rameses, —and encamped in Succoth.

۶ 6 و از سکوت کوچ کرده، درایتام که به کنار بیابان است، فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Succoth, —and encamped in Etham, which is at the edge of the desert.

۷ 7 و ازایتام کوچ کرده، به سوی فم الحیروت که در مقابل بعل صفون است، برگشتند، و پیش مجدل فرودآمدند.

And they brake up from Etham, and turned upon Pi-hahiroth, which is over against Baal-zephon, —and encamped before Migdol.

۸ 8 و از مقابل حیروت کوچ کرده، از میان دریا به بیابان عبور کردند و در بیابان ایتام سفر سه روزه کرده، در ماره فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from before Hahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea towards the desert, —and went their way a journey of three days in the desert of Etham, and encamped in Marah.

۹ 9 و از ماره کوچ کرده، به ایلیم رسیدند و در ایلیم دوازده چشمه آب و هفتاد درخت خرما بود، و در آنجا فرودآمدند.

And they brake up from Marah, and came in towards Elim; there being, in Elim, twelve fountains of water, and seventy palm-trees, so they encamped there.

۱۰ 10 و از ایلیم کوچ کرده، نزد بحر قلزم فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Elim, —and encamped by the Red Sea.

۱۱ 11 و از بحر قلزم کوچ کرده، در بیابان سین فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from the Red Sea, —and encamped in the desert of Sin.

۱۲ 12 و از بیابان سین کوچ کرده، دردفقه فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from the desert of Sin, —and encamped in Dophkah.

۱۳ 13 و از دفقه کوچ کرده، درالوش فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Dophkah, —and encamped in Alush.

۱۴ 14 و از الوش کوچ کرده، دررفیدیم فرود آمدند و در آنجا آب نبود که قوم بنوشند.

And they brake up from Alush, —and encamped in Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.

۱۵ 15 و از رفیدیم کوچ کرده، در بیابان سینافرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Rephidim, —and encamped in the desert of Sinai.

۱۶ 16 و از بیابان سینا کوچ کرده، درقبروت هتاوه فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from the desert of Sinai, —and encamped in Kibroth-hattaavah.

۱۷ 17 و از قبروت هتاوه کوچ کرده، در حصیروت فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Kibroth-hattaavah, —and encamped in Hazeroth.

۱۸ 18 و ازحصیروت کوچ کرده، در رتمه فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Hazeroth, —and encamped in Rithmah.

۱۹ 19 واز رتمه کوچ کرده، و در رمون فارص فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Rithmah, —and encamped in Rimmon-perez.

۲۰ 20 و از رمون فارص کوچ کرده، در لبنه فرودآمدند.

And they brake up from Rimmon-perez, —and encamped in Libnah.

۲۱ 21 و از لبنه کوچ کرده، در رسه فرودآمدند.

And they brake up from Libnah, —and encamped in Rissah.

۲۲ 22 و از رسه کوچ کرده، در قهیلاته فرودآمدند.

And they brake up from Rissah, —and encamped in Kehelathah.

۲۳ 23 و از قهیلاته کوچ کرده، در جبل شافر فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Kehelathah, —and encamped in Mount Shepher.

۲۴ 24 و از جبل شافر کوچ کرده، درحراده فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Mount Shepher, —and encamped in Haradah.

۲۵ 25 و از حراده کوچ کرده، درمقهیلوت فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Haradah, —and encamped in Makheloth.

۲۶ 26 و از مقهیلوت کوچ کرده، در تاحت فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Makheloth, —and encamped in Tahath.

۲۷ 27 و از تاحت کوچ کرده، در تارح فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Tahath, —and encamped in Terah.

۲۸ 28 و از تارح کوچ کرده، در متقه فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Terah, —and encamped in Mithkah.

۲۹ 29 و از متقه کوچ کرده، در حشمونه فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Mithkah, —and encamped in Hashmonah.

۳۰ 30 و از حشمونه کوچ کرده، در مسیروت فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Hashmonah, —and encamped in Moseroth.

۳۱ 31 و از مسیروت کوچ کرده، در بنی یعقان فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Moseroth, and encamped in Bene-jaakan.

۳۲ 32 و ازبنی یعقان کوچ کرده، در حورالجدجاد فرودآمدند.

And they brake up from Bene-jaakan, and encamped in Hor-haggidgad.

۳۳ 33 و از حورالجدجاد کوچ کرده، دریطبات فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Hor-haggidgad, —and encamped in Jotbathah, —

۳۴ 34 و از یطبات کوچ کرده، درعبرونه فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Jotbathah, —and encamped in Abronah.

۳۵ 35 و از عبرونه کوچ کرده، درعصیون جابر فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Abronah, —and encamped in Eziongeber.

۳۶ 36 و از عصیون جابرکوچ کرده، در بیابان صین که قادش باشد، فرودآمدند.

And they brake up from Eziongeber, —and encamped in the desert of Zin, the same, is Kadesh.

۳۷ 37 و از قادش کوچ کرده، در جبل هور درسرحد زمین ادوم فرود آمدند.

And they brake, up from Kadesh, —and encamped in Mount Hor, on the outskirts of the land of Edom;

۳۸ 38 هارون کاهن برحسب فرمان خداوند به جبل هور برآمده، در سال چهلم خروج بنی‌اسرائیل از زمین مصر، در روز اول ماه پنجم وفات یافت.

and Aaron the priest went up into Mount Hor, at the bidding of Yahweh, and died there, in the fortieth year, by the coming forth of the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first of the month.

۳۹ 39 و هارون صد و بیست و سه ساله بود که در جبل هور مرد.

Now, Aaron, was a hundred and twenty-three years old, when he died in Mount Hor.

۴۰ 40 و ملک عراد کنعانی که در جنوب زمین کنعان ساکن بود از آمدن بنی‌اسرائیل اطلاع یافت.

And a Canaanite king of Arad, who was dwelling in the South, in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming in of the sons of Israel.

۴۱ 41 پس از جبل هور کوچ کرده، در صلمونه فرود آمدند.

And, they brake up from Mount Hor, —and encamped in Zalmonah.

۴۲ 42 و از صلمونه کوچ کرده در فونون فرود آمدند

And they brake up from Zalmonah, —and encamped in Punon.

۴۳ 43 و از فونون کوچ کرده، در اوبوت فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Punon, and encamped in Oboth.

۴۴ 44 و از اوبوت کوچ کرده، درعیی عباریم در حدود موآب فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Oboth, —and encamped in Iye-abarim, within the bounds of Moab.

۴۵ 45 و از عییم کوچ کرده، در دیبون جاد فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Iyim, —and encamped in Dibon-gad.

۴۶ 46 واز دیبون جاد کوچ کرده، در علمون دبلاتایم فرودآمدند.

And they brake up from Dibon-gad, and encamped in Almon-diblathaim.

۴۷ 47 و از علمون دبلاتایم کوچ کرده، درکوههای عباریم در مقابل نبو فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from Almon-diblathaim, —and encamped among the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.

۴۸ 48 و ازکوههای عباریم کوچ کرده، در عربات موآب نزداردن در مقابل اریحا فرود آمدند.

And they brake up from the mountains of Abarim, —and encamped in the waste plains of Moab, by Jordan near Jericho.

۴۹ 49 پس نزد اردن از بیت یشیموت تا آبل شطیم در عربات موآب اردو زدند.

Thus did they encamp by the Jordan from Beth-jeshimoth unto Abel-Shittim [that is, "The acacia—meadows"]—in the waste plains of Moab.

۵۰ 50 و خداوند موسی را در عربات مواب نزداردن، در مقابل اریحا خطاب کرده، گفت:

And Yahweh spake unto Moses, in the waste plains of Moab, by Jordan near Jericho saying:

۵۱ 51 «بنی‌اسرائیل را خطاب کرده، به ایشان بگو: چون شما از اردن به زمین کنعان عبور کنید،

Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them, —When ye do pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,

۵۲ 52 جمیع ساکنان زمین را از پیش روی خوداخراج نمایید، و تمامی صورتهای ایشان راخراب کنید، و تمامی بتهای ریخته شده ایشان رابشکنید، و همه مکانهای بلند ایشان را منهدم سازید.

then shall ye dispossess all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and shall destroy all their figured stones, —all their molten images, also shall ye destroy, and all their high places, shall ye lay waste.

۵۳ 53 و زمین را به تصرف آورده، در آن ساکن شوید، زیرا که آن زمین را به شما دادم تا مالک آن باشید.

So shall ye possess the land, and settle down therein, —for unto you, have I given the land to possess it.

۵۴ 54 و زمین را به حسب قبایل خود به قرعه تقسیم کنید، برای کثیر، نصیب او را کثیر بدهید، وبرای قلیل، نصیب او را قلیل بدهید، جایی که قرعه برای هر کس برآید از آن او باشد برحسب اسباط آبای شما آن را تقسیم نمایید.

And ye shall take your inheritance in the land by lot by your families—for the large one, ye shall make large his inheritance, and for the small one, make small his inheritance, whithersoever the lot cometh out to him, his, shall, it be, by the tribes of your fathers, shall ye take your inheritance.

۵۵ 55 و اگرساکنان زمین را از پیش روی خود اخراج ننماییدکسانی را که از ایشان باقی می‌گذارید در چشمان شما خار خواهند بود، و در پهلوهای شما تیغ وشما را در زمینی که در آن ساکن شوید، خواهندرنجانید.

But if ye do not dispossess the inhabitants of the land from before you, then shall it be. that they whom ye leave remaining of them will become pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and will harass you, concerning the land, wherein, ye are settling down.

۵۶ 56 و به همان طوری که قصد نمودم که با ایشان رفتار نمایم، با شما رفتار خواهم نمود.»

And it shall be, that as I thought to do unto them, I will do unto you.
