اعداد 14

۱ 1 و تمامی جماعت آواز خود را بلندکرده، فریاد نمودند. و قوم در آن شب می‌گریستند.

And it lifted up all the congregation and they gave forth voice their and they wept the people in the night that.

۲ 2 و جمیع بنی‌اسرائیل بر موسی وهارون همهمه کردند، و تمامی جماعت به ایشان گفتند: «کاش که در زمین مصر می‌مردیم یا در این صحرا وفات می‌یافتیم!

And they grumbled on Moses and on Aaron all [the] people of Israel and they said to them all the congregation if we had died in [the] land of Egypt or in the wilderness this if we had died.

۳ 3 و چرا خداوند ما را به این زمین می‌آورد تا به دم شمشیر بیفتیم، و زنان واطفال ما به یغما برده شوند، آیا برگشتن به مصربرای ما بهتر نیست؟»

And why? [is] Yahweh bringing us into the land this to fall by the sword wives our and little one[s] our they will become plunder ¿ not good for us [is] to return Egypt towards.

۴ 4 و به یکدیگر گفتند: «سرداری برای خود مقرر کرده، به مصربرگردیم.»

And they said each to brother his let us appoint a leader and let us return Egypt towards.

۵ 5 پس موسی و هارون به حضور تمامی گروه جماعت بنی‌اسرائیل به رو افتادند.

And he fell Moses and Aaron on faces their before all [the] assembly of [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel.

۶ 6 و یوشع بن نون و کالیب بن یفنه که از جاسوسان زمین بودند، رخت خود را دریدند.

And Joshua [the] son of Nun and Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh one of those [who] spied out the land they tore clothes their.

۷ 7 و تمامی جماعت بنی‌اسرائیل را خطاب کرده، گفتند: «زمینی که برای جاسوسی آن از آن عبور نمودیم، زمین بسیار بسیار خوبیست.

And they said to all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel saying the land which we passed in it to spy out it [is] good the land very very.

۸ 8 اگر خداوند از ما راضی است ما را به این زمین آورده، آن را به ما خواهدبخشید، زمینی که به شیر و شهد جاری است.

If he delights in us Yahweh and he will bring us into the land this and he will give it to us a land which it [is] flowing of milk and honey.

۹ 9 زنهار از خداوند متمرد نشوید، و از اهل زمین ترسان مباشید، زیراکه ایشان خوراک ما هستند، سایه ایشان از ایشان گذشته است، و خداوند با ماست، از ایشان مترسید.»

Only against Yahweh may not you rebel and you may not you fear [the] people of the land for [will be] bread our they it has departed shade their from over them and Yahweh [is] with us may not you fear them.

۱۰ 10 لیکن تمامی جماعت گفتند که باید ایشان را سنگسار کنند. آنگاه جلال خداوند در خیمه اجتماع بر تمامی بنی‌اسرائیل ظاهر شد.

And they said all the congregation to stone them with stones and [the] glory of Yahweh it appeared at [the] tent of meeting to all [the] people of Israel.

۱۱ 11 وخداوند به موسی گفت: «تا به کی این قوم مرااهانت نمایند؟ و تا به کی با وجود همه آیاتی که در میان ایشان نمودم، به من ایمان نیاورند؟

And he said Yahweh to Moses until when? will they spurn me the people this and until when? not will they believe in me with all the signs which I did in midst its.

۱۲ 12 ایشان را به وبا مبتلا ساخته، هلاک می‌کنم و ازتو قومی بزرگ و عظیم تر از ایشان خواهم ساخت.»

I will strike it with pestilence and I will dispossess it and I may make you a nation great and mighty more than it.

۱۳ 13 موسی به خداوند گفت: «آنگاه مصریان خواهند شنید، زیراکه این قوم را به قدرت خود ازمیان ایشان بیرون آوردی.

And he said Moses to Yahweh and they will hear Egypt that you brought up by strength your the people this from midst its.

۱۴ 14 و به ساکنان این زمین خبر خواهند داد و ایشان شنیده‌اند که تو‌ای خداوند، در میان این قوم هستی، زیراکه تو‌ای خداوند، معاینه دیده می‌شوی، و ابر تو بر ایشان قایم است، و تو پیش روی ایشان روز در ستون ابرو شب در ستون آتش می‌خرامی.

And they will say to [the] inhabitant[s] of the land this they have heard that you O Yahweh [are] in [the] midst of the people this who eye in eye he was seen - you O Yahweh and cloud your [is] standing over them and in a pillar of cloud you [are] going before them by day and in a pillar of fire night.

۱۵ 15 پس اگر این قوم را مثل شخص واحد بکشی، طوایفی که آوازه تو را شنیده‌اند، خواهند گفت:

And you will put to death the people this like a person one and they will say the nations which they have heard report your saying.

۱۶ 16 چون که خداوند نتوانست این قوم را به زمینی که برای ایشان قسم خورده بود درآورد از این سبب ایشان را در صحرا کشت.

Because not was able Yahweh to bring the people this into the land which he swore to them and he has slaughtered them in the wilderness.

۱۷ 17 پس الان قدرت خداوندعظیم بشود، چنانکه گفته بودی

And therefore may it be great please [the] power of [the] Lord just as you have spoken saying.

۱۸ 18 که یهوه دیرخشم و بسیار رحیم و آمرزنده گناه و عصیان است، لیکن مجرم را هرگز بی‌سزا نخواهدگذاشت بلکه عقوبت گناه پدران را بر پسران تاپشت سوم و چهارم می‌رساند.

Yahweh [is] long of anger and great of covenant loyalty forgiving iniquity and transgression and certainly not he will leave unpunished visiting [the] iniquity of parents on [the] children on a third generation and on a fourth generation.

۱۹ 19 پس گناه این قوم را برحسب عظمت رحمت خود بیامرز، چنانکه این قوم را از مصر تا اینجا آمرزیده‌ای.»

Forgive please [the] iniquity of the people this according to [the] greatness of covenant loyalty your and just as you have forgiven the people this from Egypt and until now.

۲۰ 20 و خداوند گفت: «برحسب کلام توآمرزیدم.

And he said Yahweh I have forgiven [them] according to word your.

۲۱ 21 لیکن به حیات خودم قسم که تمامی زمین از جلال یهوه پر خواهد شد.

And but [by] [the] life of me so may be filled [with the] glory of Yahweh all the earth.

۲۲ 22 چونکه جمیع مردانی که جلال و آیات مرا که در مصر وبیابان نمودم دیدند، مرا ده مرتبه امتحان کرده، آواز مرا نشنیدند.

For all the men who saw glory my and signs my which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness and they have put to [the] test me this ten times and not they have listened to voice my.

۲۳ 23 به درستی که ایشان زمینی راکه برای پدران ایشان قسم خوردم، نخواهند دید، و هرکه مرا اهانت کرده باشد، آن را نخواهد دید.

If they will see the land which I swore to ancestors their and all [those who] have spurned me not they will see it.

۲۴ 24 لیکن بنده من کالیب چونکه روح دیگر داشت ومرا تمام اطاعت نمود، او را به زمینی که رفته بودداخل خواهم ساخت، و ذریت او وارث آن خواهند شد.

And servant my Caleb consequence it has been a spirit another with him and he has filled after me and I will bring him into the land where he went there and offspring his it will take possession of it.

۲۵ 25 و چونکه عمالیقیان و کنعانیان دروادی ساکنند، فردا رو گردانیده، از راه بحر قلزم به صحرا کوچ کنید.»

And the Amalekite[s] and the Canaanite[s] [was] dwelling in the valley[s] tomorrow turn and set out for yourselves the wilderness [the] way of [the] sea of reed[s].

۲۶ 26 و خداوند موسی و هارون را خطاب کرده، گفت:

And he spoke Yahweh to Moses and to Aaron saying.

۲۷ 27 «تا به کی این جماعت شریر را که بر من همهمه می‌کنند متحمل بشوم؟ همهمه بنی‌اسرائیل را که بر من همهمه می‌کنند، شنیدم.

Until when? to the congregation the evil this which they [are] grumbling on me [the] grumblings of [the] people of Israel which they [are] grumbling on me I have heard.

۲۸ 28 به ایشان بگو خداوند می‌گوید: به حیات خودم قسم که چنانکه شما در گوش من گفتید، همچنان با شما عمل خواهم نمود.

Say to them [by] [the] life of me [the] utterance of Yahweh if not just as you have spoken in ears my so I will do to you.

۲۹ 29 لاشه های شما دراین صحرا خواهد افتاد، و جمیع شمرده شدگان شما برحسب تمامی عدد شما، از بیست ساله وبالاتر که بر من همهمه کرده‌اید.

In the wilderness this they will fall corpses your and all enrolled [men] your of all number your from a son of twenty year[s] and up-wards who you have grumbled on me.

۳۰ 30 شما به زمینی که درباره آن دست خود را بلند کردم که شما را درآن ساکن گردانم، هرگز داخل نخواهید شد، مگرکالیب بن یفنه و یوشع بن نون.

If you you will go into the land which I lifted up hand my to cause to dwell you in it that except Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh and Joshua [the] son of Nun.

۳۱ 31 اما اطفال شما که درباره آنها گفتید که به یغما برده خواهند شد، ایشان را داخل خواهم کرد و ایشان زمینی را که شما رد کردید، خواهند دانست.

And little one[s] your who you said plunder he will become and I will bring them and they will know the land which you have rejected it.

۳۲ 32 لیکن لاشه های شما در این صحرا خواهد افتاد.

And corpses your you they will fall in the wilderness this.

۳۳ 33 وپسران شما در این صحرا چهل سال آواره بوده، بار زناکاری شما را متحمل خواهند شد، تالاشه های شما در صحرا تلف شود.

And children your they will be shepherds in the wilderness forty year[s] and they will bear prostitution your until are finished corpses your in the wilderness.

۳۴ 34 برحسب شماره روزهایی که زمین را جاسوسی می‌کردید، یعنی چهل روز. یک سال به عوض هر روز، بارگناهان خود را چهل سال متحمل خواهید شد، ومخالفت مرا خواهید دانست.

By [the] number of the days which you spied out the land forty day[s] a day for the year a day for the year you will bear iniquities your forty year[s] and you will know opposition my.

۳۵ 35 من که یهوه هستم، گفتم که البته این را به تمامی این جماعت شریر که به ضد من جمع شده‌اند خواهم کرد، ودر این صحرا تلف شده، در اینجا خواهند مرد.»

I Yahweh I have spoken if not - this I will do to all the congregation the evil this which has gathered on me in the wilderness this they will meet their end and there they will die.

۳۶ 36 و اما آن کسانی که موسی برای جاسوسی زمین فرستاده بود. و ایشان چون برگشتند خبر بددرباره زمین آورده، تمام جماعت را از او گله‌مندساختند.

And the men whom he sent Moses to spy out the land and they returned (and they caused to grumble *QK) on him all the congregation by bringing out a bad report on the land.

۳۷ 37 آن کسانی که این خبر بد را درباره زمین آورده بودند، به حضور خداوند از وبامردند.

And they died the men [who] brought out [the] unfavorable report of the land evil by plague before Yahweh.

۳۸ 38 اما یوشع بن نون و کالیب بن یفنه ازجمله آنانی که برای جاسوسی زمین رفته بودند، زنده ماندند.

And Joshua [the] son of Nun and Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh they lived of the men those who went to spy out the land.

۳۹ 39 و چون موسی این سخنان را به جمیع بنی‌اسرائیل گفت، قوم بسیار گریستند.

And he spoke Moses the words these to all [the] people of Israel and they mourned the people exceedingly.

۴۰ 40 وبامدادان به زودی برخاسته، به‌سر کوه برآمده، گفتند: «اینک حاضریم و به مکانی که خداوندوعده داده است می‌رویم، زیرا گناه کرده‌ایم.»

And they rose early in the morning and they went up to [the] top of the hill country saying here [are] we and we will go up to the place which he said Yahweh that we have sinned.

۴۱ 41 موسی گفت: «چرا از فرمان خداوند تجاوزمی نمایید؟ لیکن این کار به کام نخواهد شد!

And he said Moses why? this [are] you transgressing [the] mouth of Yahweh and it not it will succeed.

۴۲ 42 مروید زیرا خداوند در میان شما نیست، مبادااز پیش دشمنان خود منهزم شوید.

May not you go up for not Yahweh [will be] in midst your and not you will be defeated before enemies your.

۴۳ 43 زیراعمالیقیان و کنعانیان آنجا پیش روی شما هستند، پس به شمشیر خواهید افتاد، و چونکه از پیروی خداوند روگردانیده‌اید، لهذا خداوند با شمانخواهد بود.»

For the Amalekite[s] and the Canaanite[s] [are] there before you and you will fall by the sword for since you have turned back from after Yahweh and not he will be Yahweh with you.

۴۴ 44 لیکن ایشان از راه تکبر به‌سر کوه رفتند، اماتابوت عهد خداوند و موسی از میان لشکرگاه بیرون نرفتند.

And they presumed to go up to [the] top of the hill country and [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh and Moses not they departed from [the] midst of the camp.

۴۵ 45 آنگاه عمالیقیان و کنعانیان که درآن کوهستان ساکن بودند فرودآمده، ایشان رازدند و تا حرما منهزم ساختند.

And he came down the Amalekite[s] and the Canaanite[s] who dwelt in the hill country that and they struck them and they scattered them to Hormah.
