اعداد 12

۱ 1 و مریم و هارون درباره زن حبشی که موسی گرفته بود، بر او شکایت آوردند، زیرا زن حبشی گرفته بود.

Afterward Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses, because of the woman of Ethiopia whome hee had maried (for hee had married a woman of Ethiopia)

۲ 2 و گفتند: «آیا خداوندبا موسی به تنهایی تکلم نموده است، مگر به ما نیزتکلم ننموده؟» و خداوند این را شنید.

And they saide, What? hath the Lord spoken but onely by Moses? hath he not spoken also by vs? and the Lord heard this.

۳ 3 و موسی مرد بسیار حلیم بود، بیشتر از جمیع مردمانی که در روی زمینند.

(But Moses was a verie meeke man, aboue all the men that were vpon the earth)

۴ 4 در ساعت خداوند به موسی و هارون و مریم گفت: «شما هر سه نزد خیمه اجتماع بیرون آیید.» و هر سه بیرون آمدند.

And by and by the Lord sayd vnto Moses, and vnto Aaron, and vnto Miriam, come out yee three vnto the Tabernacle of the Congregation: and they three came forth.

۵ 5 و خداوند در ستون ابرنازل شده، به در خیمه ایستاد، و هارون و مریم راخوانده، ایشان هر دو بیرون آمدند.

Then the Lord came downe in the pillar of the cloude, and stoode in the doore of the Tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam, and they both came forth.

۶ 6 و او گفت: «الان سخنان مرا بشنوید: اگر در میان شما نبی‌ای باشد، من که یهوه هستم، خود را در رویا بر اوظاهر می‌کنم و در خواب به او سخن می‌گویم.

And hee saide, Heare nowe my wordes, If there be a Prophet of the Lord among you, I will be knowen to him by a vision, and will speake vnto him by dreame.

۷ 7 اما بنده من موسی چنین نیست. او در تمامی خانه من امین است.

My seruant Moses is not so, who is faithfull in all mine house.

۸ 8 با وی روبرو و آشکارا و نه در رمزها سخن می‌گویم، و شبیه خداوند رامعاینه می‌بیند، پس چرا نترسیدید که بر بنده من موسی شکایت آوردید؟»

Vnto him will I speake mouth to mouth, and by vision, and not in darke wordes, but hee shall see the similitude of the Lord. Wherefore then were ye not afraid to speake against my seruant, euen against Moses?

۹ 9 و غضب خداوند برایشان افروخته شده، برفت.

Thus the Lord was very angrie with them, and departed.

۱۰ 10 و چون ابر از روی خیمه برخاست، اینک مریم مثل برف مبروص بود، و هارون بر مریم نگاه کرد و اینک مبروص بود.

Also the cloude departed from the Tabernacle: and beholde, Miriam was leprous like snowe: and Aaron looked vpon Miriam, and beholde, she was leprous.

۱۱ 11 و هارون به موسی گفت: «وای‌ای آقایم بار این گناه را بر ما مگذار زیرا که حماقت کرده، گناه ورزیده‌ایم.

Then Aaron saide vnto Moses, Alas, my Lord, I beseech thee, lay not the sinne vpon vs, which we haue foolishly committed and wherein we haue sinned.

۱۲ 12 و او مثل میته‌ای نباشد که چون از رحم مادرش بیرون آید، نصف بدنش پوسیده باشد.»

Let her not, I pray thee, be as one dead, of whome the flesh is halfe consumed, when he commeth out of his mothers wombe.

۱۳ 13 پس موسی نزد خداوند استغاثه کرده، گفت: «ای خدا او را شفا بده!»

Then Moses cryed vnto the Lord, saying, O God, I beseech thee, heale her nowe.

۱۴ 14 خداوند به موسی گفت: «اگر پدرش به روی وی فقط آب دهان می‌انداخت، آیا هفت روز خجل نمی شد؟ پس هفت روز بیرون لشکرگاه محبوس بشود، وبعد از آن داخل شود.»

And the Lord said vnto Moses, If her father had spit in her face, shoulde she not haue bene ashamed seuen dayes? let her be shut out of the hoste seuen dayes, and after she shall bee receiued.

۱۵ 15 پس مریم هفت روزبیرون لشکرگاه محبوس ماند، و تا داخل شدن مریم، قوم کوچ نکردند.

So Miriam was shut out of the hoste seuen dayes, and the people remooued not, till Miriam was brought in againe.

۱۶ 16 و بعد از آن، قوم از حضیروت کوچ کرده، در صحرای فاران اردو زدند.

Then afterwarde the people remooued from Hazeroth, and pitched in the wildernesse of Paran.
