متّی 21

۱ 1 و چون نزدیک به اورشلیم رسیده، واردبیت‌فاجی نزد کوه زیتون شدند. آنگاه عیسی دو نفر از شاگردان خود را فرستاده،

When they came near to Jerusalem [City of peace] (at the beginning of Nissan), and came to Bethsphage, to the Mount of Olives, then Yeshua [Salvation] sent two disciples,

۲ 2 بدیشان گفت: «در این قریه‌ای که پیش روی شمااست بروید و در حال، الاغی با کره‌اش بسته خواهید یافت. آنها را باز کرده، نزد من آورید.

saying to them, “Go into the village that is opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Untie them, and bring them to me.

۳ 3 وهرگاه کسی به شما سخنی گوید، بگویید خداوندبدینها احتیاج دارد که فی الفور آنها را خواهدفرستاد.»

If anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord needs them,’ and immediately he will send them.”

۴ 4 و این همه واقع شد تا سخنی که نبی گفته است تمام شود

All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying,

۵ 5 که «دختر صهیون را گوییداینک پادشاه تو نزد تو می‌آید با فروتنی و سواره بر حمار و بر کره الاغ.»

“Tell the daughter of Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking], behold, your King comes to you, humble, and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.”

۶ 6 پس شاگردان رفته، آنچه عیسی بدیشان امر فرمود، بعمل آوردند

The disciples went, and did just as Yeshua [Salvation] commanded them,

۷ 7 و الاغ را با کره آورده، رخت خود را بر آنها انداختند واو بر آنها سوار شد.

and brought the donkey and the colt, and laid their clothes on them; and he sat on them.

۸ 8 و گروهی بسیار، رختهای خود را در راه گسترانیدند و جمعی از درختان شاخه‌ها بریده، در راه می‌گستردند.

A very great multitude carpeted the road with their clothing, while others cut branches from the trees, and spread them on the road.

۹ 9 و جمعی ازپیش و پس او رفته، فریادکنان می‌گفتند: «هوشیعانا پسر داودا، مبارک باد کسی‌که به اسم خداوند می‌آید! هوشیعانا در اعلی علیین!»

The multitudes who went in front of him, and those who followed, kept shouting, “Hosanna ·Save now· to the son of David [Beloved]! Blessed is he who comes in the name of MarYah [Master Yahweh]! Hosanna ·Save now· in the highest!”

۱۰ 10 وچون وارد اورشلیم شد، تمام شهر به آشوب آمده، می‌گفتند: «این کیست؟»

When he had come into Jerusalem [City of peace], all the city was stirred up, saying, “Who is this?”

۱۱ 11 آن گروه گفتند: «این است عیسی نبی از ناصره جلیل.»

The multitudes said, “This is the prophet, Yeshua [Salvation], from Nazareth [Branch, Separated one] of Galilee [District, Circuit].”

۱۲ 12 پس عیسی داخل هیکل خدا گشته، جمیع کسانی را که در هیکل خرید و فروش می‌کردند، بیرون نمود و تختهای صرافان و کرسیهای کبوترفروشان را واژگون ساخت.

Yeshua [Salvation] entered into the temple of God, and drove out all of those who sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the money changers’ tables and the seats of those who sold the doves.

۱۳ 13 و ایشان را گفت: «مکتوب است که خانه من خانه دعا نامیده می‌شود. لیکن شما مغاره دزدانش ساخته‌اید.»

He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it a den of robbers!”

۱۴ 14 و کوران و شلان در هیکل، نزد او آمدند وایشان را شفا بخشید.

The blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them.

۱۵ 15 اما روسای کهنه و کاتبان چون عجایبی که از او صادر می‌گشت و کودکان را که در هیکل فریاد برآورده، «هوشیعانا پسر داودا» می‌گفتنددیدند، غضبناک گشته،

But when the chief priests and the Torah-Teachers saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children who were crying in the temple and saying, “Hosanna ·Save now· to the son of David [Beloved]!” they were indignant,

۱۶ 16 به وی گفتند: «نمی شنوی آنچه اینها می‌گویند؟» عیسی بدیشان گفت: «بلی مگر نخوانده‌اید این که از دهان کودکان و شیرخوارگان حمد را مهیا ساختی؟»

and said to him, “Do you hear what these are saying?” Yeshua [Salvation] said to them, “Yes. Did you never read, ‘Out of the mouth of babes and nursing babies you have perfected praise?’”

۱۷ 17 پس ایشان را واگذارده، از شهر بسوی بیت عنیارفته، در آنجا شب را بسر برد.

He left them, and went out of the city to Bethany [House of affliction], and camped there.

۱۸ 18 بامدادان چون به شهر مراجعت می‌کرد، گرسنه شد.

Now in the morning, as he returned to the city, he was hungry.

۱۹ 19 و در کناره راه یک درخت انجیر دیده، نزد آن آمد و جز برگ بر آن هیچ نیافت. پس آن را گفت: «از این به بعد میوه تا به ابد بر تونشود!» که در ساعت درخت انجیر خشکید! (aiōn g165)

Seeing a fig tree by the road, he came to it, and found nothing on it but leaves. He said to it, “Let there be no fruit from you forever!” Immediately the fig tree withered away. (aiōn g165)

۲۰ 20 چون شاگردان این را دیدند، متعجب شده، گفتند: «چه بسیار زود درخت انحیر خشک شده است!»

When the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree immediately wither away?”

۲۱ 21 عیسی در جواب ایشان گفت: «هرآینه به شما می‌گویم اگر ایمان می‌داشتید و شک نمی نمودید، نه همین را که به درخت انجیر شدمی کردید، بلکه هر گاه بدین کوه می‌گفتید “منتقل شده به دریا افکنده شو” چنین می‌شد.

Yeshua [Salvation] answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, if you have trusting faith, and don’t doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it would be done.

۲۲ 22 و هرآنچه با‌ایمان به دعا طلب کنید، خواهید یافت.»

All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

۲۳ 23 و چون به هیکل درآمده، تعلیم می‌داد، روسای کهنه و مشایخ قوم نزد او آمده، گفتند: «به چه قدرت این اعمال را می‌نمایی و کیست که این قدرت را به تو داده است؟»

When he had come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him as he was teaching, and said, “By what authority do you do these things? Who gave you this authority?”

۲۴ 24 عیسی در جواب ایشان گفت: «من نیز از شما سخنی می‌پرسم. اگرآن را به من گویید، من هم به شما گویم که این اعمال را به چه قدرت می‌نمایم:

Yeshua [Salvation] answered them, “I also will ask you one question, which if you tell me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things.

۲۵ 25 تعمید یحیی از کجا بود؟ از آسمان یا از انسان؟» ایشان با خودتفکر کرده، گفتند که «اگر گوییم از آسمان بود، هرآینه گوید پس چرا به وی ایمان نیاوردید.

The baptism of John [Yah is gracious], where was it from? From heaven or from men?” They reasoned with themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will ask us, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’

۲۶ 26 واگر گوییم از انسان بود، از مردم می‌ترسیم زیراهمه یحیی را نبی می‌دانند.»

But if we say, ‘From men,’ we fear the multitude, for all hold John [Yah is gracious] as a prophet.”

۲۷ 27 پس در جواب عیسی گفتند: «نمی دانیم.» بدیشان گفت: «من هم شما را نمی گویم که به چه قدرت این کارها رامی کنم.

They answered Yeshua [Salvation], and said, “We don’t know.” He also said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.

۲۸ 28 لیکن چه گمان دارید؟ شخصی را دو پسربود. نزد نخستین آمده، گفت: “ای فرزند امروز به تاکستان من رفته، به‌کار مشغول شو.”

But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first, and said, ‘Son, go work today in my vineyard.’

۲۹ 29 درجواب گفت: “نخواهم رفت.” اما بعد پشیمان گشته، برفت.

He answered, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he changed his mind, and went.

۳۰ 30 و به دومین نیز همچنین گفت. اودر جواب گفت: “ای آقا من می‌روم.” ولی نرفت.

He came to the second, and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I go, sir,’ but he didn’t go.

۳۱ 31 کدام‌یک از این دو خواهش پدر را به‌جاآورد؟» گفتند: «اولی.» عیسی بدیشان گفت: «هرآینه به شما می‌گویم که باجگیران و فاحشه هاقبل از شما داخل ملکوت خدا می‌گردند،

Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said to him, “The first.” Yeshua [Salvation] said to them, “Most certainly I tell you that the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering into God’s Kingdom before you.

۳۲ 32 زانرو که یحیی از راه عدالت نزد شما آمد وبدو ایمان نیاوردید، اما باجگیران و فاحشه‌ها بدوایمان آوردند و شما چون دیدید آخر هم پشیمان نشدید تا بدو ایمان آورید.

For John [Yah is gracious] came to you in the way of righteousness, and you didn’t believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. When you saw it, you didn’t even teshuvah ·turn repent· afterward, that you might believe him.

۳۳ 33 و مثلی دیگر بشنوید: صاحب‌خانه‌ای بودکه تاکستانی غرس نموده، خطیره‌ای گردش کشید و چرخشتی در آن کند و برجی بنا نمود. پس آن را به دهقانان سپرده، عازم سفر شد.

“Hear another parable. There was a man who was a master of a household, who planted a vineyard, set a wall about it, dug a wine press in it, built a tower, leased it out to farmers, and went into another country.

۳۴ 34 وچون موسم میوه نزدیک شد، غلامان خود را نزددهقانان فرستاد تا میوه های او را بردارند.

When the season for the fruit came near, he sent his servants to the farmers, to receive his fruit.

۳۵ 35 امادهقانان غلامانش را گرفته، بعضی را زدند وبعضی را کشتند و بعضی را سنگسار نمودند.

The farmers took his servants, beat one, killed another, and stoned another.

۳۶ 36 باز غلامان دیگر، بیشتر از اولین فرستاده، بدیشان نیز به همانطور سلوک نمودند.

Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they treated them the same way.

۳۷ 37 بالاخره پسر خود را نزد ایشان فرستاده، گفت: “پسر مرا حرمت خواهند داشت.”

But afterward he sent to them his son, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’

۳۸ 38 اما دهقانان چون پسررا دیدند با خود گفتند: “این وارث است. بیایید اورا بکشیم و میراثش را ببریم.”

But the farmers, when they saw the son, said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, and seize his inheritance.’

۳۹ 39 آنگاه او راگرفته، بیرون تاکستان افکنده، کشتند.

So they took him, and threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him.

۴۰ 40 پس چون مالک تاکستان آید، به آن دهقانان چه خواهد کرد؟»

When therefore the lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those farmers?”

۴۱ 41 گفتند: «البته آن بدکاران را به سختی هلاک خواهد کرد و باغ را به باغبانان دیگرخواهد سپرد که میوه هایش را در موسم بدودهند.»

They told him, “He will miserably destroy those miserable men, and will lease out the vineyard to other farmers, who will give him the fruit in its season.”

۴۲ 42 عیسی بدیشان گفت: «مگر در کتب هرگزنخوانده‌اید این که سنگی را که معمارانش ردنمودند، همان سر زاویه شده است. این از جانب خداوند آمد و در نظر ما عجیب است.

Yeshua [Salvation] said to them, “Did you never read in the Scriptures, ‘The stone which the builders rejected, the same was made the head of the corner. This was from Adonai. It is marvelous in our eyes?’

۴۳ 43 از این جهت شما را می‌گویم که ملکوت خدا از شماگرفته شده، به امتی که میوه‌اش را بیاورند، عطاخواهد شد.

“Therefore I tell you, God’s Kingdom will be taken away from you, and will be given to a nation producing its fruit.

۴۴ 44 و هر‌که بر آن سنگ افتد، منکسرشود و اگر آن بر کسی افتد، نرمش سازد.»

He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but if it falls on him, he will crushed to dust.”

۴۵ 45 وچون روسای کهنه و فریسیان مثلهایش راشنیدند، دریافتند که درباره ایشان می‌گوید.

When the chief priests and the Pharisees [Separated] heard his parables, they perceived that he spoke about them.

۴۶ 46 وچون خواستند او را گرفتار کنند، از مردم ترسیدند زیرا که او را نبی می‌دانستند.

When they sought to seize him, they feared the multitudes, because they considered him to be a prophet.
