یوشع 11
| و واقع شد که چون یابین ملک حاصور این را شنید، نزد یوباب ملک مادون و نزد ملک شمرون و نزد ملک اخشاف فرستاد. | ۱ 1 |
And it came to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor had heard [those things], that he sent to Jobab king of Madon, and to the king of Shimron, and to the king Achshaph,
| و نزدملوکی که به طرف شمال در کوهستان، و در عربه، جنوب کنروت، و در هامون و در نافوت دور، به طرف مغرب بودند. | ۲ 2 |
And to the kings that [were] on the north of the mountains, and of the plains south of Cinneroth, and in the valley, and in the borders of Dor on the west,
| و نزد کنعانیان به طرف مشرق و مغرب و اموریان و حتیان و فرزیان ویبوسیان در کوهستان، و حویان زیر حرمون درزمین مصفه. | ۳ 3 |
[And to] the Canaanite on the east and on the west, and [to] the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite in the mountains, and [to] the Hivite under Hermon in the land of Mizpeh.
| و آنها با تمامی لشکرهای خود که قوم بسیاری بودند و عدد ایشان مثل ریگ درکناره دریا بود با اسبان و ارابه های بسیار بیرون آمدند. | ۴ 4 |
And they went out, they and all their hosts with them, many people, even as the sand that [is] upon the sea-shore in multitude, with horses and chariots very numerous.
| و تمامی این ملوک جمع شده، آمدند ونزد آبهای میروم در یک جا اردو زدند تا بااسرائیل جنگ کنند. | ۵ 5 |
And when all these kings were met together, they came and encamped together at the waters of Merom, to fight against Israel.
| و خداوند به یوشع گفت: «از ایشان مترس زیرا که فردا چنین وقتی جمیع ایشان را کشته شده، به حضور اسرائیل تسلیم خواهم کرد، واسبان ایشان را پی خواهی کرد، و ارابه های ایشان را به آتش خواهی سوزانید.» | ۶ 6 |
And the LORD said to Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to-morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.
| پس یوشع باتمامی مردان جنگی به مقابله ایشان نزد آبهای میروم ناگهان آمده، بر ایشان حمله کردند. | ۷ 7 |
So Joshua came, and all the people of war with him, against them by the waters of Merom suddenly, and they fell upon them.
| وخداوند ایشان را به‌دست اسرائیل تسلیم نمود، که ایشان را زدند و تا صیدون بزرگ و مسرفوت مایم و تا وادی مصفه به طرف شرقی تعاقب کرده، کشتند، به حدی که کسی را از ایشان باقی نگذاشتند. | ۸ 8 |
And the LORD delivered them into the hand of Israel, who smote them, and chased them to great Zidon, and to Misrephoth-maim, and to the valley of Mizpeh eastward; and they smote them, until they left to them none remaining.
| و یوشع به طوری که خداوند به وی گفته بود با ایشان رفتار نموده، اسبان ایشان را پی کرد و ارابه های ایشان را به آتش سوزانید. | ۹ 9 |
And Joshua did to them as the LORD bade him: he houghed their horses, and burnt their chariots with fire.
| و یوشع در آن وقت برگشت، و حاصور راگرفته، ملکش را با شمشیر کشت، زیرا حاصورقبل از آن سر جمیع آن ممالک بود. | ۱۰ 10 |
And Joshua at that time turned back, and took Hazor, and smote its king with the sword: for Hazor before-time was the head of all those kingdoms.
| و همه کسانی را که در آن بودند به دم شمشیر کشته، ایشان را بالکل هلاک کرد، و هیچ ذی حیات باقی نماند، و حاصور را به آتش سوزانید. | ۱۱ 11 |
And they smote all the souls that [were] in it with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying [them]: there was not any left to breathe: and he burnt Hazor with fire.
| و یوشع تمامی شهرهای آن ملوک و جمیع ملوک آنها راگرفت و ایشان را به دم شمشیر کشته، بالکل هلاک کرد به طوری که موسی بنده خداوند امر فرموده بود. | ۱۲ 12 |
And all the cities of those kings, and all the kings of them, Joshua took, and smote them with the edge of the sword, [and] he utterly destroyed them, as Moses the servant of the LORD commanded.
| لکن همه شهرهایی که بر تلهای خوداستوار بودند اسرائیل آنها را نسوزانید، سوای حاصور که یوشع آن را فقط سوزانید. | ۱۳ 13 |
But [as for] the cities that stood still in their strength, Israel burned none of them, save Hazor only; [that] did Joshua burn.
| وبنی‌اسرائیل تمامی غنیمت آن شهرها و بهایم آنها را برای خود به غارت بردند، اما همه مردم رابه دم شمشیر کشتند، به حدی که ایشان را هلاک کرده، هیچ ذی حیات را باقی نگذاشتند. | ۱۴ 14 |
And all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle, the children of Israel took for a prey to themselves: but every man they smote with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, neither left they any to breathe.
| چنانکه خداوند بنده خود موسی را امر فرموده بود، همچنین موسی به یوشع امر فرمود و به همین طور یوشع عمل نمود، و چیزی از جمیع احکامی که خداوند به موسی فرموده بود، باقی نگذاشت. | ۱۵ 15 |
As the LORD commanded Moses his servant, so did Moses command Joshua, and so did Joshua: he left nothing undone of all that the LORD commanded Moses.
| پس یوشع تمامی آن زمین کوهستان وتمامی جنوب و تمامی زمین جوشن و هامون وعربه و کوهستان اسرائیل و هامون آن را گرفت. | ۱۶ 16 |
So Joshua took all that land, the hills, and all the south country, and all the land of Goshen, and the valley, and the plain, and the mountain of Israel, and the valley of the same;
| از کوه حالق که به سوی سعیر بالا می‌رود تابعل جاد که در وادی لبنان زیر کوه حرمان است، و جمیع ملوک آنها را گرفته، ایشان را زد و کشت. | ۱۷ 17 |
[Even] from the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir, even to Baal-gad, in the valley of Lebanon under mount Hermon: and all their kings he took, and smote them, and slew them.
| و یوشع روزهای بسیار با این ملوک جنگ کرد. | ۱۸ 18 |
Joshua made war a long time with all those kings.
| و شهری نبود که با بنی‌اسرائیل صلح کرده باشد، جز حویانی که در جبعون ساکن بودند وهمه دیگران را در جنگ گرفتند. | ۱۹ 19 |
There was not a city that made peace with the children of Israel, save the Hivites the inhabitants of Gibeon: all [other] they took in battle.
| زیرا از جانب خداوند بود که دل ایشان را سخت کند تا به مقابله اسرائیل درآیند و او ایشان را بالکل هلاک سازد، و بر ایشان رحمت نشود بلکه ایشان را نابود سازدچنانکه خداوند به موسی‌امر فرموده بود. | ۲۰ 20 |
For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly, [and] that they might have no favor, but that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses.
| و در آن زمان یوشع آمده، عناقیان را ازکوهستان از جبرون و دبیر و عناب و همه کوههای یهودا و همه کوههای اسرائیل منقطع ساخت، و یوشع ایشان را با شهرهای ایشان بالکل هلاک کرد. | ۲۱ 21 |
And at that time came Joshua and cut off the Anakims from the mountains, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the mountains of Judah, and from all the mountains of Israel: Joshua destroyed them utterly with their cities.
| کسی از عناقیان در زمین بنی‌اسرائیل باقی نماند، لیکن در غزا و جت واشدود بعضی باقی ماندند. | ۲۲ 22 |
There was none of the Anakims left in the land of the children of Israel: only in Gaza, in Gath, and in Ashdod, there remained.
| پس یوشع تمامی زمین را برحسب آنچه خداوند به موسی گفته بود، گرفت، و یوشع آن را به بنی‌اسرائیل برحسب فرقه‌ها و اسباط ایشان به ملکیت بخشید و زمین ازجنگ آرام گرفت. | ۲۳ 23 |
So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the LORD said to Moses, and Joshua gave it for an inheritance to Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. And the land rested from war.
