یوشع 11

۱ 1 و واقع شد که چون یابین ملک حاصور این را شنید، نزد یوباب ملک مادون و نزد ملک شمرون و نزد ملک اخشاف فرستاد.

And whe Iabin King of Hazor had heard this, then he sent to Iobab King of Madon, and to the king of Shimron, and to the king of Achshaph,

۲ 2 و نزدملوکی که به طرف شمال در کوهستان، و در عربه، جنوب کنروت، و در هامون و در نافوت دور، به طرف مغرب بودند.

And vnto the Kings that were by ye North in the mountaines and plaines toward the Southside of Cinneroth, and in the valleys, and in the borders of Dor Westward,

۳ 3 و نزد کنعانیان به طرف مشرق و مغرب و اموریان و حتیان و فرزیان ویبوسیان در کوهستان، و حویان زیر حرمون درزمین مصفه.

And vnto the Canaanites, both by East, and by West, and vnto the Amorites, and Hittites, and Perizzites, and Iebusites in the mountaines, and vnto the Hiuites vnder Hermon in the land of Mizpeh.

۴ 4 و آنها با تمامی لشکرهای خود که قوم بسیاری بودند و عدد ایشان مثل ریگ درکناره دریا بود با اسبان و ارابه های بسیار بیرون آمدند.

And they came out and all their hostes with them, many people as the sande that is on the sea shore for multitude, with horses and charets exceeding many.

۵ 5 و تمامی این ملوک جمع شده، آمدند ونزد آبهای میروم در یک جا اردو زدند تا بااسرائیل جنگ کنند.

So all these Kings met together, and came and pitched together at the waters of Merom, for to fight against Israel.

۶ 6 و خداوند به یوشع گفت: «از ایشان مترس زیرا که فردا چنین وقتی جمیع ایشان را کشته شده، به حضور اسرائیل تسلیم خواهم کرد، واسبان ایشان را پی خواهی کرد، و ارابه های ایشان را به آتش خواهی سوزانید.»

Then the Lord sayd vnto Ioshua, Be not afrayd for them: for to morowe about this time will I deliuer them all slaine before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burne their charets with fire.

۷ 7 پس یوشع باتمامی مردان جنگی به مقابله ایشان نزد آبهای میروم ناگهان آمده، بر ایشان حمله کردند.

Then came Ioshua and al the men of warre with him against them by the waters of Merom suddenly, and fell vpon them.

۸ 8 وخداوند ایشان را به‌دست اسرائیل تسلیم نمود، که ایشان را زدند و تا صیدون بزرگ و مسرفوت مایم و تا وادی مصفه به طرف شرقی تعاقب کرده، کشتند، به حدی که کسی را از ایشان باقی نگذاشتند.

And the Lord gaue them into the hand of Israel: and they smote them, and chased them vnto great Zidon, and vnto Misrephothmaim, and vnto the valley of Mizpeh Eastward, and smote them vntill they had none remaining of them.

۹ 9 و یوشع به طوری که خداوند به وی گفته بود با ایشان رفتار نموده، اسبان ایشان را پی کرد و ارابه های ایشان را به آتش سوزانید.

And Ioshua did vnto them as the Lord bade him: he houghed their horses, and burnt their charets with fire.

۱۰ 10 و یوشع در آن وقت برگشت، و حاصور راگرفته، ملکش را با شمشیر کشت، زیرا حاصورقبل از آن سر جمیع آن ممالک بود.

At that time also Ioshua turned backe, and tooke Hazor, and smote the King thereof with the sword: for Hazor before time was the head of all those kingdomes.

۱۱ 11 و همه کسانی را که در آن بودند به دم شمشیر کشته، ایشان را بالکل هلاک کرد، و هیچ ذی حیات باقی نماند، و حاصور را به آتش سوزانید.

Moreouer, they smote all the persons that were therein with the edge of the sworde, vtterly destroying all, leauing none aliue, and hee burnt Hazor with fire.

۱۲ 12 و یوشع تمامی شهرهای آن ملوک و جمیع ملوک آنها راگرفت و ایشان را به دم شمشیر کشته، بالکل هلاک کرد به طوری که موسی بنده خداوند امر فرموده بود.

So all ye cities of those Kings, and all the kings of them did Ioshua take, and smote them with the edge of the sword, and vtterly destroyed them, as Moses the seruant of the Lord had commanded.

۱۳ 13 لکن همه شهرهایی که بر تلهای خوداستوار بودند اسرائیل آنها را نسوزانید، سوای حاصور که یوشع آن را فقط سوزانید.

But Israel burnt none of the cities that stoode still in their strength, saue Hazor onely, that Ioshua burnt.

۱۴ 14 وبنی‌اسرائیل تمامی غنیمت آن شهرها و بهایم آنها را برای خود به غارت بردند، اما همه مردم رابه دم شمشیر کشتند، به حدی که ایشان را هلاک کرده، هیچ ذی حیات را باقی نگذاشتند.

And all the spoyle of these cities and the cattel the children of Israel tooke for their praye, but they smote euery man with the edge of the sword vntill they had destroyed them, not leauing one aliue.

۱۵ 15 چنانکه خداوند بنده خود موسی را امر فرموده بود، همچنین موسی به یوشع امر فرمود و به همین طور یوشع عمل نمود، و چیزی از جمیع احکامی که خداوند به موسی فرموده بود، باقی نگذاشت.

As the Lord had commanded Moses his seruant, so did Moses commande Ioshua, and so did Ioshua: he left nothing vndone of all that the Lord had commanded Moses.

۱۶ 16 پس یوشع تمامی آن زمین کوهستان وتمامی جنوب و تمامی زمین جوشن و هامون وعربه و کوهستان اسرائیل و هامون آن را گرفت.

So Ioshua tooke all this land of the mountaines, and all the South, and all the lande of Goshen, and the lowe countrey, and the plaine, and the mountaine of Israel, and the lowe countrey of the same,

۱۷ 17 از کوه حالق که به سوی سعیر بالا می‌رود تابعل جاد که در وادی لبنان زیر کوه حرمان است، و جمیع ملوک آنها را گرفته، ایشان را زد و کشت.

From the mount Halak, that goeth vp to Seir, euen vnto Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon, vnder mount Hermon: and all their Kings he tooke, and smote them, and slewe them.

۱۸ 18 و یوشع روزهای بسیار با این ملوک جنگ کرد.

Ioshua made warre long time with all those Kings,

۱۹ 19 و شهری نبود که با بنی‌اسرائیل صلح کرده باشد، جز حویانی که در جبعون ساکن بودند وهمه دیگران را در جنگ گرفتند.

Neither was there any citie that made peace with the children of Israel, saue those Hiuites that inhabited Gibeon: all other they tooke by battell.

۲۰ 20 زیرا از جانب خداوند بود که دل ایشان را سخت کند تا به مقابله اسرائیل درآیند و او ایشان را بالکل هلاک سازد، و بر ایشان رحمت نشود بلکه ایشان را نابود سازدچنانکه خداوند به موسی‌امر فرموده بود.

For it came of the Lord, to harden their heartes that they shoulde come against Israel in battell to the intent that they shoulde destroye them vtterly, and shewe them no mercie, but that they shoulde bring them to nought: as the Lord had commanded Moses.

۲۱ 21 و در آن زمان یوشع آمده، عناقیان را ازکوهستان از جبرون و دبیر و عناب و همه کوههای یهودا و همه کوههای اسرائیل منقطع ساخت، و یوشع ایشان را با شهرهای ایشان بالکل هلاک کرد.

And that same season came Ioshua, and destroyed the Anakims out of the mountaines: as out of Hebron, out of Debir, out of Anab, and out of all the mountaines of Iudah, and out of all the mountaines of Israel: Ioshua destroyed them vtterly with their cities.

۲۲ 22 کسی از عناقیان در زمین بنی‌اسرائیل باقی نماند، لیکن در غزا و جت واشدود بعضی باقی ماندند.

There was no Anakim left in the lande of the children of Israel: onely in Azzah, in Gath, and in Ashdod were they left.

۲۳ 23 پس یوشع تمامی زمین را برحسب آنچه خداوند به موسی گفته بود، گرفت، و یوشع آن را به بنی‌اسرائیل برحسب فرقه‌ها و اسباط ایشان به ملکیت بخشید و زمین ازجنگ آرام گرفت.

So Ioshua tooke the whole land, according to all that the Lord had saide vnto Moses: and Ioshua gaue it for an inheritance vnto Israel according to their portion through their tribes: then the land was at rest without warre.
