یوحنا 3

۱ 1 و شخصی از فریسیان نیقودیموس نام ازروسای یهود بود.

And there was a man of the Pharisees, his name Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews;

۲ 2 او در شب نزد عیسی آمده، به وی گفت: «ای استاد می‌دانیم که تو معلم هستی که از جانب خدا آمده‌ای زیرا هیچ‌کس نمی تواند معجزاتی را که تو می‌نمایی بنماید، جزاینکه خدا با وی باشد.»

this one came to Him by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we have known that You have come from God—a teacher, for no one is able to do these signs that You do, if God may not be with him.”

۳ 3 عیسی در جواب اوگفت: «آمین آمین به تو می‌گویم اگر کسی از سر نومولود نشود، ملکوت خدا را نمی تواند دید.»

Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone may not be born from above, he is not able to see the Kingdom of God”;

۴ 4 نیقودیموس بدو گفت: «چگونه ممکن است که انسانی که پیر شده باشد، مولود گردد؟ آیا می‌شودکه بار دیگر داخل شکم مادر گشته، مولود شود؟»

Nicodemus says to Him, “How is a man able to be born, being old? Is he able to enter into the womb of his mother a second time, and to be born?”

۵ 5 عیسی در جواب گفت: «آمین، آمین به تومی گویم اگر کسی از آب و روح مولود نگردد، ممکن نیست که داخل ملکوت خدا شود.

Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone may not be born of water and the Spirit, he is not able to enter into the Kingdom of God;

۶ 6 آنچه از جسم مولود شد، جسم است و آنچه از روح مولود گشت روح است.

that which has been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which has been born of the Spirit is spirit.

۷ 7 عجب مدار که به توگفتم باید شما از سر نو مولود گردید.

You may not wonder that I said to you, It is required for you to be born from above;

۸ 8 باد هرجاکه می‌خواهد می‌وزد و صدای آن را می‌شنوی لیکن نمی دانی از کجا می‌آید و به کجا می‌رود. همچنین است هر‌که از روح مولود گردد.»

the Spirit blows where [that] One wills, and you hear [that] One’s voice, but you have not known from where [that] One comes, and to where [that] One goes; thus is everyone who has been born of the Spirit.”

۹ 9 نیقودیموس در جواب وی گفت: «چگونه ممکن است که چنین شود؟»

Nicodemus answered and said to Him, “How are these things able to happen?”

۱۰ 10 عیسی در جواب وی گفت: «آیا تو معلم اسرائیل هستی و این رانمی دانی؟

Jesus answered and said to him, “You are the teacher of Israel and you do not know these things?

۱۱ 11 آمین، آمین به تو می‌گویم آنچه می‌دانیم، می‌گوییم و به آنچه دیده‌ایم، شهادت می‌دهیم و شهادت ما را قبول نمی کنید.

Truly, truly, I say to you, what We have known We speak, and what We have seen We testify, and you do not receive Our testimony;

۱۲ 12 چون شما را از امور زمینی سخن گفتم، باور نکردید. پس هرگاه به امور آسمانی با شما سخن رانم چگونه تصدیق خواهید نمود؟

if I spoke to you of the earthly things, and you do not believe, how, if I will speak to you of the heavenly things, will you believe?

۱۳ 13 و کسی به آسمان بالا نرفت مگر آن کس که از آسمان پایین آمد یعنی پسر انسان که در آسمان است.

And no one has gone up to Heaven, except He who came down out of Heaven—the Son of Man who is in Heaven.

۱۴ 14 وهمچنان‌که موسی مار را در بیابان بلند نمود، همچنین پسر انسان نیز باید بلند کرده شود،

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so it is necessary for the Son of Man to be lifted up,

۱۵ 15 تاهر‌که به او ایمان آرد هلاک نگردد، بلکه حیات جاودانی یابد. (aiōnios g166)

that everyone who is believing in Him may not perish, but may have continuous life, (aiōnios g166)

۱۶ 16 زیرا خدا جهان را اینقدر محبت نمود که پسر یگانه خود را داد تا هر‌که بر او ایمان آورد هلاک نگردد بلکه حیات جاودانی یابد. (aiōnios g166)

for God so loved the world that He gave the only begotten Son, that everyone who is believing in Him may not perish, but may have continuous life. (aiōnios g166)

۱۷ 17 زیرا خدا پسر خود را در جهان نفرستاد تا برجهان داوری کند، بلکه تا به وسیله او جهان نجات یابد.

For God did not send His Son into the world that He may judge the world, but that the world may be saved through Him;

۱۸ 18 آنکه به او ایمان آرد، بر او حکم نشود؛ اما هر‌که ایمان نیاورد الان بر او حکم شده است، بجهت آنکه به اسم پسر یگانه خدا ایمان نیاورده.

he who is believing in Him is not judged, but he who is not believing has been judged already, because he has not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of God.

۱۹ 19 و حکم این است که نور در جهان آمدو مردم ظلمت را بیشتر از نور دوست داشتند، ازآنجا که اعمال ایشان بد است.

And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light, for their works were evil;

۲۰ 20 زیرا هر‌که عمل بد می‌کند، روشنی را دشمن دارد و پیش روشنی نمی آید، مبادا اعمال او توبیخ شود.

for everyone who is doing wicked things hates the light, and does not come into the light, that his works may not be detected;

۲۱ 21 و لیکن کسی‌که به راستی عمل می‌کند پیش روشنی می‌آید تا آنکه اعمال او هویدا گردد که در خداکرده شده است.»

but he who is doing the truth comes into the light, that his works may be revealed, that in God they are having been worked.”

۲۲ 22 و بعد از آن عیسی با شاگردان خود به زمین یهودیه آمد و با ایشان در آنجا به‌سر برده، تعمیدمی داد.

After these things Jesus and His disciples came into the land of Judea, and there He tarried with them, and was immersing;

۲۳ 23 و یحیی نیز در عینون، نزدیک سالیم تعمید می‌داد زیرا که در آنجا آب بسیار بود ومردم می‌آمدند و تعمید می‌گرفتند،

and John was also immersing in Aenon, near to Salem, because there were many waters there, and they were coming and were being immersed—

۲۴ 24 چونکه یحیی هنوز در زندان حبس نشده بود.

for John was not yet cast into the prison—

۲۵ 25 آنگاه در خصوص تطهیر، در میان شاگردان یحیی ویهودیان مباحثه شد.

there arose then a question from the disciples of John with [some] Jews about purifying,

۲۶ 26 پس به نزد یحیی آمده، به او گفتند: «ای استاد، آن شخصی که با تو درآنطرف اردن بود و تو برای او شهادت دادی، اکنون او تعمید می‌دهد و همه نزد اومی آیند.»

and they came to John and said to him, “Rabbi, He who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you testified, behold, this One is immersing, and all are coming to Him.”

۲۷ 27 یحیی در جواب گفت: «هیچ‌کس چیزی نمی تواند یافت، مگر آنکه از آسمان بدو داده شود.

John answered and said, “A man is not able to receive anything if it may not have been given him from Heaven;

۲۸ 28 شما خود بر من شاهد هستید که گفتم من مسیح نیستم بلکه پیش روی او فرستاده شدم.

you yourselves testify to me that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am having been sent before Him;

۲۹ 29 کسی‌که عروس دارد داماد است، اما دوست داماد که ایستاده آواز او را می‌شنود، از آواز دامادبسیار خشنود می‌گردد. پس این خوشی من کامل گردید.

He who is having the bride is bridegroom, and the friend of the bridegroom, who is standing and hearing Him, rejoices with joy because of the voice of the bridegroom; this, then, my joy has been fulfilled.

۳۰ 30 می‌باید که او افزوده شود و من ناقص گردم.

It is necessary [for] Him to increase, and me to become less;

۳۱ 31 او که از بالا می‌آید، بالای همه است وآنکه از زمین است زمینی است و از زمین تکلم می‌کند؛ اما او که از آسمان می‌آید، بالای همه است.

He who is coming from above is above all; he who is from the earth, from the earth he is, and from the earth he speaks; He who is coming from Heaven is above all.

۳۲ 32 و آنچه را دید و شنید، به آن شهادت می‌دهد و هیچ‌کس شهادت او را قبول نمی کند.

And what He has seen and heard—this He testifies, and none receives His testimony;

۳۳ 33 و کسی‌که شهادت اورا قبول کرد، مهر کرده است بر اینکه خدا راست است.

he who is receiving His testimony sealed that God is true;

۳۴ 34 زیرا آن کسی را که خدا فرستاد، به کلام خدا تکلم می‌نماید، چونکه خدا روح را به میزان عطا نمی کند.

for He whom God sent, He speaks the sayings of God; for God does not give the Spirit by measure;

۳۵ 35 پدرپسر را محبت می‌نماید و همه‌چیز را بدست اوسپرده است.

the Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand;

۳۶ 36 آنکه به پسر ایمان آورده باشد، حیات جاودانی دارد و آنکه به پسر ایمان نیاوردحیات را نخواهد دید، بلکه غضب خدا بر اومی ماند.» (aiōnios g166)

he who is believing in the Son has continuous life; and he who is not believing the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.” (aiōnios g166)
