ارمیا 48

۱ 1 درباره موآب، یهوه صبایوت خدای اسرائیل چنین می‌گوید: «وای بر نبوزیرا که خراب شده است. قریه تایم خجل وگرفتار گردیده است. و مسجاب رسوا و منهدم گشته است.

Concerning Moab, thus saith ye Lord of hostes, the God of Israel, Woe vnto Nebo: for it is wasted: Kiriathaim is confounded and taken: Misgab is confounded and afraide.

۲ 2 فخر موآب زایل شده، در حشبون برای وی تقدیرهای بد کردند. بیایید و او رامنقطع سازیم تا دیگر قوم نباشد. تو نیز‌ای مدمین ساکت خواهی شد و شمشیر تو را تعاقب خواهدنمود.

Moab shall boast no more of Heshbon: for they haue deuised euill against it. Come, and let vs destroy it, that it be no more a nation: also thou shalt be destroyed, O Madmen, and the sworde shall pursue thee.

۳ 3 آواز ناله از حورونایم مسموع می‌شود. هلاکت و شکستگی عظیم.

A voyce of crying shall be from Horonaim with desolation and great destruction.

۴ 4 موآب بهم شکسته است و صغیرهای او فریاد برمی آورند.

Moab is destroyed: her litle ones haue caused their crie to be heard.

۵ 5 زیرا که به فراز لوحیت با گریه سخت برمی آیند و ازسرازیری حورونایم صدای شکست یافتن ازدشمنان شنیده می‌شود.

For at the going vp of Luhith, the mourner shall goe vp with weeping: for in the going downe of Horonaim, the enemies haue heard a cry of destruction,

۶ 6 بگریزید و جانهای خود را برهانید و مثل درخت عرعر در بیابان باشید.

Flee and saue your liues, and be like vnto the heath in the wildernesse.

۷ 7 زیرا از این جهت که به اعمال و گنجهای خویش توکل نمودی تو نیز گرفتار خواهی شد. وکموش با کاهنان و سرورانش با هم به اسیری خواهند رفت.

For because thou hast trusted in thy workes and in thy treasures, thou shalt also be taken, and Chemosh shall goe forth into captiuitie with his Priestes and his princes together.

۸ 8 و غارت کننده به همه شهرهاخواهد آمد و هیچ شهر خلاصی نخواهد یافت وبرحسب فرمان خداوند اهل وادی تلف خواهندشد و اهل همواری هلاک خواهند گردید.

And the destroyer shall come vpon all cities, and no citie shall escape: the valley also shall perish and the plaine shalbe destroyed as the Lord hath spoken.

۹ 9 بالهابه موآب بدهید تا پرواز نموده، بگریزد وشهرهایش خراب و غیرمسکون خواهد شد.

Giue wings vnto Moab, that it may flee and get away: for the cities thereof shalbe desolate, without any to dwell therein.

۱۰ 10 ملعون باد کسی‌که کار خداوند را با غفلت عمل نماید و ملعون باد کسی‌که شمشیر خود را از خون باز‌دارد.

Cursed be he that doeth the worke of the Lord negligently, and cursed be he that keepeth backe his sword from blood.

۱۱ 11 موآب از طفولیت خودمستریح بوده و بر دردهای خود نشسته است و ازظرف به ظرف ریخته نشده و به اسیری نرفته است. از این سبب طعمش در او مانده است وخوشبویی او تغییر نیافته است.

Moab hath bene at rest from his youth, and he hath setled on his lees, and hath not bene powred from vessell to vessell, neither hath he gone into captiuitie: therefore his taste remained in him and his sent is not changed.

۱۲ 12 بنابراین اینک خداوند می‌گوید: روزها می‌آید که من ریزندگان می‌فرستم که او را بریزند و ظروف او را خالی کرده، مشکهایش را پاره خواهند نمود.

Therefore beholde, the dayes come, saith the Lord, that I will send vnto him such as shall carie him away, and shall emptie his vessels, and breake their bottels.

۱۳ 13 وموآب از کموش شرمنده خواهد شد چنانکه خاندان اسرائیل از بیت ئیل که اعتماد ایشان بود، شرمنده شده‌اند.

And Moab shalbe ashamed of Chemosh as the house of Israel was ashamed of Beth-el their confidence.

۱۴ 14 چگونه می‌گویید که ماشجاعان و مردان قوی برای جنگ می‌باشیم؟

Howe thinke you thus, We are mightie and strong men of warre?

۱۵ 15 موآب خراب شده دود شهرهایش متصاعدمی شود و جوانان برگزیده‌اش به قتل فرودمی آیند. پادشاه که نام او یهوه صبایوت می‌باشداین را می‌گوید:

Moab is destroyed, and his cities burnt vp, and his chose yong men are gone downe to slaughter, saith ye King, whose name is ye Lord of hostes.

۱۶ 16 رسیدن هلاکت موآب نزدیک است و بلای او بزودی هر‌چه تمامتر می‌آید.

The destruction of Moab is ready to come, and his plague hasteth fast.

۱۷ 17 ‌ای جمیع مجاورانش و همگانی که نام او رامی دانید برای وی ماتم گیرید. بگویید عصای قوت و چوبدستی زیبایی چگونه شکسته شده است!

All ye that are about him, mourne for him, and all ye that knowe his name, say, Howe is the strong staffe broken, and the beautifull rod!

۱۸ 18 ‌ای دختر دیبون که (در امنیت ) ساکن هستی از جلال خود فرود آی و در جای خشک بنشین زیرا که غارت کننده موآب بر تو هجوم می‌آورد و قلعه های تو را منهدم می‌سازد.

Thou daughter that doest inhabite Dibon, come downe from thy glory, and sit in thirst: for the destroyer of Moab shall come vpon thee, and he shall destroy thy strong holdes.

۱۹ 19 ‌ای تو که در عروعیر ساکن هستی به‌سر راه بایست ونگاه کن و از فراریان و ناجیان بپرس و بگو که چه شده است؟

Thou that dwellest in Aroer, stand by the way, and beholde: aske him that fleeth and that escapeth, and say, What is done?

۲۰ 20 موآب خجل شده، زیرا که شکست یافته است پس ولوله و فریاد برآورید. در ارنون اخبار نمایید که موآب هلاک گشته است.

Moab is cofouded: for it is destroied: howle, and cry, tell ye it in Arnon, that Moab is made waste,

۲۱ 21 و داوری بر زمین همواری رسیده است.

And iudgement is come vpon the plaine countrey, vpon Holon and vpon Iahazah, and vpon Mephaath,

۲۲ 22 و بر دیبون و نبوو بیت دبلتایم،

And vpon Dibon, and vpon Nebo, and vpon the house of Diblathaim,

۲۳ 23 و بر قریه تایم و بیت جامول وبیت معون،

And vpon Kiriathaim, and vpon Beth-gamul, and vpon Beth-meon,

۲۴ 24 و بر قریوت و بصره و بر تمامی شهرهای بعید و قریب زمین موآب.

And vpon Kerioth, and vpon Bozrah, and vpon all the cities of ye land of Moab farre or neere.

۲۵ 25 «خداوند می‌گوید که شاخ موآب بریده وبازویش شکسته شده است.

The horne of Moab is cut off, and his arme is broken, saith the Lord.

۲۶ 26 او را مست سازیدزیرا به ضد خداوند تکبر می‌نماید. و موآب درقی خود غوطه می‌خورد و او نیز مضحکه خواهدشد.

Make ye him drunken: for he magnified himselfe against the Lord: Moab shall wallowe in his vomite, and he also shalbe in derision.

۲۷ 27 آیا اسرائیل برای تو مضحکه نبود؟ و آیااو در میان دزدان یافت شد به حدی که هر وقت که درباره او سخن می‌گفتی سر خود رامی جنبانیدی؟

For diddest not thou deride Israel, as though he had bene found among theeues? for when thou speakest of him, thou art moued.

۲۸ 28 ‌ای ساکنان موآب شهرها راترک کرده، در صخره ساکن شوید و مثل فاخته‌ای باشید که آشیانه خود را در کنار دهنه مغاره می‌سازد.

O ye that dwell in Moab, leaue the cities, and dwell in the rockes, and be like the doue, that maketh her nest in the sides of the holes mouth.

۲۹ 29 غرور موآب و بسیاری تکبر او را وعظمت و خیلا و کبر و بلندی دل او را شنیدیم.

We haue heard the pride of Moab (hee is exceeding proude) his stoutnesse, and his arrogancie, and his pride, and the hautinesse of his heart.

۳۰ 30 خداوند می‌گوید: خشم او را می‌دانم که هیچ است و فخرهای او را که از آنها هیچ برنمی آید.

I know his wrath, saith ye Lord, but it shall not be so: and his dissimulatios, for they do not right.

۳۱ 31 بنابراین برای موآب ولوله خواهم کرد و به جهت تمامی موآب فریاد برخواهم آورد. برای مردان قیرحارس ماتم گرفته خواهد شد.

Therefore will I howle for Moab, and I will crie out for all Moab: mine heart shall mourne for the men of Kir-heres.

۳۲ 32 برای تو‌ای مو سبمه به گریه یعزیر خواهم گریست. شاخه های تو از دریا گذشته بود و به دریاچه یعزیر رسیده، بر میوه‌ها و انگورهایت غارت کننده هجوم آورده است.

O vine of Sibmah, I will weepe for thee, as I wept for Iazer: thy plants are gone ouer the sea, they are come to the sea of Iazer: ye destroyer is fallen vpon thy somer fruites, and vpon thy vintage,

۳۳ 33 شادی وابتهاج از بستانها و زمین موآب برداشته شد وشراب را از چرخشتها زایل ساختم و کسی آنهارا به صدای شادمانی به پا نخواهد فشرد. صدای شادمانی صدای شادمانی نیست.

And ioye, and gladnesse is taken from the plentifull fielde, and from the land of Moab: and I haue caused wine to faile from the winepresse: none shall treade with shouting: their shouting shall be no shouting.

۳۴ 34 به فریادحشبون آواز خود را تا العاله و یاهص بلند کردندو از صوغر تا حورونایم عجلت شلیشیا، زیرا که آبهای نمریم نیز خرابه شده است.

From the cry of Heshbon vnto Elaleh and vnto Iahaz haue they made their noyse from Zoar vnto Horonaim, ye heiffer of three yere old shall go lowing: for ye waters also of Nimrim shalbe wasted.

۳۵ 35 و خداوند می گوید من آنانی را که در مکان های بلند قربانی می‌گذرانند و برای خدایان خود بخورمی سوزانند از موآب نابود خواهم گردانید.

Moreouer, I will cause to cease in Moab, saith the Lord, him that offered in the high places, and him that burneth incense to his gods.

۳۶ 36 لهذا دل من به جهت موآب مثل نای صدامی کند و دل من به جهت مردان قیرحارس مثل نای صدا می‌کند، چونکه دولتی که تحصیل نمودند تلف شده است.

Therefore mine heart shall sounde for Moab like a shaume, and mine heart shall sound like a shaume for the men of Ker-heres, because the riches that he hath gotten, is perished.

۳۷ 37 و هر سر بی‌مو گشته وهر ریش تراشیده شده است و همه دستهاخراشیده و بر هر کمر پلاس است.

For euery head shalbe balde, and euery beard plucked: vpon all the handes shall be cuttings, and vpon the loynes sackecloth.

۳۸ 38 بر همه پشت بامهای موآب و در جمیع کوچه هایش ماتم است زیرا خداوند می‌گوید موآب را مثل ظرف ناپسند شکسته‌ام.

And mourning shall be vpon all the house toppes of Moab and in all the streetes thereof: for I haue broken Moab like a vessell wherein is no pleasure, sayeth the Lord.

۳۹ 39 چگونه منهدم شده و ایشان چگونه ولوله می‌کنند؟ و موآب چگونه به رسوایی پشت داده است؟ پس موآب برای جمیع مجاوران خود مضحکه و باعث ترس شده است.

They shall howle, saying, How is he destroyed? howe hath Moab turned the backe with shame? so shall Moab be a derision, and a feare to all them about him.

۴۰ 40 زیرا خداوند چنین می‌گوید: او مثل عقاب پرواز خواهد کرد و بالهای خویش را بر موآب پهن خواهد نمود.

For thus saith the Lord, Beholde, he shall flee as an eagle, and shall spread his wings ouer Moab.

۴۱ 41 شهرهایش گرفتار وقلعه هایش تسخیرشده، و دل شجاعان موآب درآن روز مثل دل زنی که درد زه داشته باشد خواهدشد.

The cities are taken, and the strong holdes are wonne, and ye mightie mens hearts in Moab at that day shalbe as ye heart of a woman in trauaile.

۴۲ 42 و موآب خراب شده، دیگر قوم نخواهدبود چونکه به ضد خداوند تکبر نموده است.

And Moab shall be destroyed from being a people, because he hath set vp himselfe against the Lord.

۴۳ 43 خداوند می‌گوید: ای ساکن موآب خوف وحفره و دام پیش روی تو است.

Feare, and pit and snare shall be vpon thee, O inhabitant of Moab, saith the Lord.

۴۴ 44 آنکه از ترس بگریزد در حفره خواهد افتاد و آنکه از حفره برآید گرفتار دام خواهد شد، زیرا خداوندفرموده است که سال عقوبت ایشان را بر ایشان یعنی بر موآب خواهم آورد.

He that escapeth from the feare, shall fall in the pit, and he that getteth vp out of the pit, shall be taken in the snare: for I will bring vpon it, euen vpon Moab, the yeere of their visitation, sayeth the Lord.

۴۵ 45 فراریان بی‌تاب شده، در سایه حشبون ایستاده‌اند زیرا که آتش ازحشبون و نار از میان سیحون بیرون آمده، حدودموآب و فرق سر فتنه انگیزان را خواهد سوزانید.

They that fled, stoode vnder the shadowe of Heshbon, because of the force: for the fire came out of Heshbon, and a flame from Sihon, and deuoured the corner of Moab, and the top of the seditious children.

۴۶ 46 وای بر تو‌ای موآب! قوم کموش هلاک شده‌اند زیرا که پسرانت به اسیری و دخترانت به جلای وطن گرفتار گردیده‌اند.

Wo be vnto thee, O Moab: the people of Chemosh perisheth: for thy sonnes are taken captiues, and thy daughters led into captiuitie.

۴۷ 47 لیکن خداوندمی گوید که در ایام آخر، اسیران موآب را بازخواهم آورد. حکم درباره موآب تا اینجاست.»

Yet will I bring againe the captiuitie of Moab in the latter dayes, sayeth the Lord. Thus farre of the iudgement of Moab.
