ارمیا 29

۱ 1 این است سخنان رساله‌ای که ارمیانبی از اورشلیم نزد بقیه مشایخ اسیران وکاهنان و انبیا و تمامی قومی که نبوکدنصر ازاورشلیم به بابل به اسیری برده بود فرستاد.

Now these are the wordes of the booke that Ieremiah the Prophet sent from Ierusalem vnto the residue of the Elders which were caryed away captiues, and to the Priestes, and to the Prophets, and to all the people whome Nebuchad-nezzar had caried away captiue from Ierusalem to Babel:

۲ 2 بعداز آنکه یکنیا پادشاه و ملکه و خواجه‌سرایان وسروران یهودا و اورشلیم و صنعتگران و آهنگران از اورشلیم بیرون رفته بودند.

(After that Ieconiah the King, and the Queene, and the eunuches, the princes of Iudah, and of Ierusalem, and the workemen, and cunning men were departed from Ierusalem)

۳ 3 (پس آن را) به‌دست العاسه بن شافان و جمریا ابن حلقیا که صدقیا پادشاه یهودا ایشان را نزد نبوکدنصرپادشاه بابل به بابل فرستاد (ارسال نموده )، گفت:

By the hand of Elasah the sonne of Shaphan and Gemariah the sonne of Hilkiah, (whom Zedekiah King of Iudah sent vnto Babel to Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel) saying,

۴ 4 «یهوه صبایوت خدای اسرائیل به تمامی اسیرانی که من ایشان را از اورشلیم به بابل به اسیری فرستادم، چنین می‌گوید:

Thus hath the Lord of hostes the God of Israel spoken vnto all that are caryed away captiues, whome I haue caused to be caryed away captiues from Ierusalem vnto Babel:

۵ 5 خانه‌ها ساخته در آنها ساکن شوید و باغها غرس نموده، میوه آنها را بخورید.

Buylde you houses to dwell in, and plant you gardens, and eate the fruites of them.

۶ 6 زنان گرفته، پسران و دختران به هم رسانید و زنان برای پسران خود بگیرید ودختران خود را به شوهر بدهید تا پسران ودختران بزایند و در آنجا زیاد شوید و کم نگردید.

Take you wiues, and beget sonnes and daughters, and take wiues for your sonnes, and giue your daughters to husbands, that they may beare sonnes and daughters, that ye may bee increased there, and not diminished.

۷ 7 و سلامتی آن شهر را که شما را به آن به اسیری فرستاده‌ام بطلبید و برایش نزد خداوند مسالت نمایید زیرا که در سلامتی آن شما را سلامتی خواهد بود.

And seeke the prosperitie of the citie, whither I haue caused you to be caried away captiues, and pray vnto the Lord for it: for in the peace thereof shall you haue peace.

۸ 8 زیرا که یهوه صبایوت خدای اسرائیل چنین می‌گوید: مگذارید که انبیای شماکه در میان شمااند و فالگیران شما شما را فریب دهند و به خوابهایی که شما ایشان را وامی داریدکه آنها را ببینند، گوش مگیرید.

For thus saith the Lord of hostes the God of Israel, Let not your prophets, and your southsayers that bee among you, deceiue you, neither giue eare to your dreames, which you dreame.

۹ 9 زیرا خداوندمی گوید که ایشان برای شما به اسم من کاذبانه نبوت می‌کنند و من ایشان را نفرستاده‌ام.

For they prophecie you a lie in my Name: I haue not sent them, saith the Lord.

۱۰ 10 وخداوند می‌گوید: چون مدت هفتاد سال بابل سپری شود من از شما تفقد خواهم نمود وسخنان نیکو را که برای شما گفتم انجام خواهم داد؛ به اینکه شما را به این مکان باز خواهم آورد.

But thus saith the Lord, That after seuentie yeeres be accomplished at Babel, I will visite you, and performe my good promise toward you, and cause you to returne to this place.

۱۱ 11 زیرا خداوند می‌گوید: فکرهایی را که برای شما دارم می‌دانم که فکرهای سلامتی می‌باشد ونه بدی تا شما را در آخرت امید بخشم.

For I knowe the thoughtes, that I haue thought towards you, saith the Lord, euen the thoughtes of peace, and not of trouble, to giue you an ende, and your hope.

۱۲ 12 و مراخواهید خواند و آمده، نزد من تضرع خواهید کردو من شما را اجابت خواهم نمود.

Then shall you crie vnto mee, and ye shall go and pray vnto me, and I will heare you,

۱۳ 13 و مراخواهید طلبید و چون مرا به تمامی دل خودجستجو نمایید، مرا خواهید یافت.

And ye shall seeke mee and finde mee, because ye shall seeke mee with all your heart.

۱۴ 14 و خداوندمی گوید که مرا خواهید یافت و اسیران شما را بازخواهم آورد. و خداوند می‌گوید که شما را ازجمیع امت‌ها و از همه مکان هایی که شما را درآنها رانده‌ام، جمع خواهم نمود و شما را از جایی که به اسیری فرستاده‌ام، باز خواهم آورد.

And I wil be found of you, saith the Lord, and I will turne away your captiuitie, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places, whither I haue cast you, saith the Lord, and will bring you againe vnto the place, whence I caused you to be caryed away captiue.

۱۵ 15 از آن رو که گفتید خداوند برای ما در بابل انبیا مبعوث نموده است.

Because ye haue sayd, The Lord hath raised vs vp Prophets in Babel,

۱۶ 16 «پس خداوند به پادشاهی که بر کرسی داودنشسته است و به تمامی قومی که در این شهرساکنند، یعنی برادران شما که همراه شما به اسیری نرفته‌اند، چنین می‌گوید:

Therefore thus saith the Lord of the King, that sitteth vpon the throne of Dauid, and of all the people, that dwell in this citie, your brethren that are not gone forth with you into captiuitie:

۱۷ 17 بلی یهوه صبایوت چنین می‌گوید: اینک من شمشیر وقحط و وبا را بر ایشان خواهم فرستاد و ایشان رامثل انجیرهای بد که آنها را از بدی نتوان خورد، خواهم ساخت.

Euen thus sayth the Lord of hostes, Beholde, I will sende vpon them the sworde, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figges, that cannot bee eaten, they are so naughtie.

۱۸ 18 و ایشان را به شمشیر و قحط ووبا تعاقب خواهم نمود و در میان جمیع ممالک جهان مشوش خواهم ساخت تا برای همه امت هایی که ایشان را در میان آنها رانده‌ام، لعنت و دهشت و مسخره و عار باشند.

And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence: and I will make them a terror to all kingdomes of the earth, and a curse, and astonishment and an hissing, and a reproche among all the nations whither I haue cast them,

۱۹ 19 چونکه خداوند می‌گوید: کلام مرا که به واسطه بندگان خود انبیا نزد ایشان فرستادم نشنیدند با آنکه صبح زود برخاسته، آن را فرستادم اما خداوند می‌گویدکه شما نشنیدید.

Because they haue not hearde my words, saith the Lord, which I sent vnto them by my seruantes the Prophetes, rising vp earely, and sending them, but yee woulde not heare, saith the Lord.

۲۰ 20 و شما‌ای جمیع اسیرانی که از اورشلیم به بابل فرستادم کلام خداوند رابشنوید.

Heare ye therefore the word of the Lord all ye of the captiuitie, whome I haue sent from Ierusalem to Babel.

۲۱ 21 یهوه صبایوت خدای اسرائیل درباره اخاب بن قولایا و درباره صدقیا ابن معسیا که برای شما به اسم من کاذبانه نبوت می‌کنند، چنین می‌گوید: اینک من ایشان را به‌دست نبوکدنصرپادشاه بابل تسلیم خواهم کرد و او ایشان را درحضور شما خواهد کشت.

Thus saith the Lord of hostes, the God of Israel, of Ahab the sonne of Kolaiah, and of Zedekiah the sonne of Maaseiah, which prophecie lyes vnto you in my Name, Beholde, I will deliuer them into the hande of Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel, and he shall slay them before your eyes.

۲۲ 22 و از ایشان برای تمامی اسیران یهودا که در بابل می‌باشند لعنت گرفته، خواهند گفت که خداوند تو را مثل صدقیاو اخاب که پادشاه بابل ایشان را در آتش سوزانید، بگرداند.

And al they of the captiuitie of Iudah, that are in Babel, shall take vp this curse against them, and say, The Lord make thee like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whome the King of Babel burnt in the fire,

۲۳ 23 چونکه ایشان در اسرائیل حماقت نمودند و با زنان همسایگان خود زنا کردند و به اسم من کلامی را که به ایشان امرنفرموده بودم کاذبانه گفتند و خداوند می‌گوید که من عارف و شاهد هستم.

Because they haue committed vilenie in Israel, and haue committed adulterie with their neighbours wiues, and haue spoken lying words in my Name, which I haue not commanded them, euen I knowe it, and testifie it, saith the Lord.

۲۴ 24 «و شمعیای نحلامی را خطاب کرده، بگو:

Thou shalt also speake to Shemaiah the Nehelamite, saying,

۲۵ 25 یهوه صبایوت خدای اسرائیل تکلم نموده، چنین می‌گوید: از آنجایی که تو رسایل به اسم خود نزد تمامی قوم که در اورشلیم‌اند و نزدصفنیا ابن معسیا کاهن و نزد جمیع کاهنان فرستاده، گفتی:

Thus speaketh the Lord of hostes, the God of Israel, saying, Because thou hast sent letters in thy Name vnto all the people, that are at Ierusalem, and to Zephaniah the sonne of Maaseiah the Priest, and to all the Priests, saying,

۲۶ 26 که خداوند تو را به‌جای یهویاداع کاهن به کهانت نصب نموده است تا برخانه خداوند وکلا باشید. برای هر شخص مجنون که خویشتن را نبی می‌نماید تا او را درکنده‌ها و زنجیرها ببندی.

The Lord hath made thee Priest for Iehoiada the Priest, that yee should bee officers in the House of the Lord, for euery man that raueth and maketh himselfe a Prophet, to put him in prison and in the stockes.

۲۷ 27 پس الان چرا ارمیاعناتوتی را که خود را برای شما نبی می‌نمایدتوبیخ نمی کنی؟

Nowe therefore why hast not thou reproued Ieremiah of Anathoth, which prophecieth vnto you?

۲۸ 28 زیرا که او نزد ما به بابل فرستاده، گفت که این اسیری بطول خواهدانجامید پس خانه‌ها بنا کرده، ساکن شوید و باغهاغرس نموده، میوه آنها را بخورید.»

For, for this cause hee sent vnto vs in Babel, saying, This captiuitie is long: buyld houses to dwell in, and plant gardens, and eate the fruites of them.

۲۹ 29 و صفنیای کاهن این رساله را به گوش ارمیانبی خواند.

And Zephaniah the Priest red this letter in the eares of Ieremiah the Prophet.

۳۰ 30 پس کلام خداوند بر ارمیا نازل شده، گفت:

Then came the worde of the Lord vnto Ieremiah, saying,

۳۱ 31 «نزد جمیع اسیران فرستاده، بگوکه خداوند درباره شمعیای نحلامی چنین می‌گوید: چونکه شمعیا برای شما نبوت می‌کند ومن او را نفرستاده‌ام و او شما را وامیدارد که به دروغ اعتماد نمایید،

Send to all them of the captiuitie, saying, Thus saith the Lord of Shemaiah the Nehelamite, Because that Shemaiah hath prophecied vnto you, and I sent him not, and hee caused you to trust in a lye,

۳۲ 32 بنابراین خداوند چنین می‌گوید: اینک من بر شمعیای نحلامی و ذریت وی عقوبت خواهم رسانید و برایش کسی‌که درمیان این قوم ساکن باشد، نخواهد ماند و خداوندمی گوید او آن احسانی را که من برای قوم خودمی کنم نخواهد دید، زیرا که درباره خداوند سخنان فتنه انگیز گفته است.»

Therefore thus saieth the Lord, Behold, I wil visite Shemaiah the Nehelamite, and his seede: hee shall not haue a man to dwell among this people, neither shall he beholde the good, that I will doe for my people, sayth the Lord, because he hath spoken rebelliously against the Lord.
