ارمیا 28

۱ 1 و در همان سال در ابتدای سلطنت صدقیا پادشاه یهودا در ماه پنجم ازسال چهارم واقع شد که حننیا ابن عزور نبی که ازجبعون بود مرا در خانه خداوند در حضور کاهنان و تمامی قوم خطاب کرده، گفت:

And it came to pass in the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah the king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, that there said unto me Chananyah the son of 'Azzur the prophet, who was from Gib'on, in the house of the Lord, before the eyes of the priests, and of all the people, as followeth,

۲ 2 «یهوه صبایوت خدای اسرائیل بدین مضمون تکلم نموده و گفته است من یوغ پادشاه بابل را شکسته‌ام.

Thus hath said the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon;

۳ 3 بعد از انقضای دو سال من همه ظرف های خانه خداوند را که نبوکدنصر پادشاه بابل از این مکان گرفته، به بابل برد به اینجا بازخواهم آورد.

Within yet two years' time will I cause to be brought back unto this place all the vessels of the house of the Lord, which Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon hath taken away from this place, and which he hath carried to Babylon:

۴ 4 و خداوند می‌گوید من یکنیا ابن یهویاقیم پادشاه یهودا و جمیع اسیران یهودا را که به بابل رفته‌اند به اینجا باز خواهم آورد زیرا که یوغ پادشاه بابل را خواهم شکست.»

And Jechonyah the son of Jehoyakim the king of Judah, and all the exiles of Judah that are gone to Babylon, will I cause to return to this place, saith the Lord; for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.

۵ 5 آنگاه ارمیا نبی به حننیا نبی در حضورکاهنان و تمامی قومی که در خانه خداوند حاضربودند گفت؛

Then said Jeremiah the prophet unto Chananyah the prophet before the eyes of the priests, and before the eyes of all the people that stood in the house of the Lord,

۶ 6 پس ارمیا نبی گفت: «آمین خداوندچنین بکند و خداوند سخنانت را که به آنها نبوت کردی استوار نماید و ظروف خانه خداوند وجمیع اسیران را از بابل به اینجا باز بیاورد.

Yea, then said Jeremiah the prophet, Amen, may the Lord do so: may the Lord fulfill thy words which thou hast prophesied, to cause the vessels of the Lord's house, and all that have been carried into exile, to be brought back from Babylon unto this place.

۷ 7 لیکن این کلام را که من به گوش تو و به سمع تمامی قوم می‌گویم بشنو:

Nevertheless hear thou now this word which I speak before thy ears, and before the ears of all the people:

۸ 8 انبیایی که از زمان قدیم قبل ازمن و قبل از تو بوده‌اند درباره زمینهای بسیاروممالک عظیم به جنگ و بلا و وبا نبوت کرده‌اند.

The prophets that have been before me and before thee from olden times prophesied both concerning many countries, and against great kingdoms, respecting war, and respecting evil, and respecting pestilence.

۹ 9 اما آن نبی‌ای که بسلامتی نبوت کند اگر کلام آن نبی واقع گردد، آنگاه آن نبی معروف خواهد شدکه خداوند فی الحقیقه او را فرستاده است.»

The prophet who prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet doth come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, [as the one] whom the Lord hath sent in truth.

۱۰ 10 پس حننیا نبی یوغ را از گردن ارمیا نبی گرفته، آن را شکست.

Then took Chananyah the prophet the yoke-bar from off the neck of Jeremiah the prophet, and broke it.

۱۱ 11 و حننیا به حضور تمامی قوم خطاب کرده، گفت: «خداوند چنین می‌گوید: بهمین طور یوغ نبوکدنصر پادشاه بابل را بعد ازانقضای دو سال از گردن جمیع امت‌ها خواهم شکست.» و ارمیا نبی به راه خود رفت.

And Chananyah said before the eyes of all the people, as followeth, Thus hath said the Lord, Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon within two years' time from the neck of all the nations. And Jeremiah the prophet went his way.

۱۲ 12 و بعد از آنکه حننیا نبی یوغ را از گردن ارمیانبی شکسته بود کلام خداوند بر ارمیا نازل شده، گفت:

Then came the word of the Lord unto Jeremiah, after Chananyah the prophet had broken the yoke-bar from off the neck of Jeremiah the prophet, saying,

۱۳ 13 «برو و حننیا نبی را بگو: خداوند چنین می‌گوید: یوغهای چوبی را شکستی اما بجای آنها یوغهای آهنین را خواهی ساخت.

Go and say unto Chananyah as followeth, Thus hath said the Lord, Yoke-bars of wood hast thou broken; but thou shalt make in their stead yoke-bars of iron.

۱۴ 14 زیرا که یهوه صبایوت خدای اسرائیل چنین می‌گوید: من یوغی آهنین بر گردن جمیع این امت‌ها نهادم تانبوکدنصر پادشاه بابل را خدمت نمایند پس او راخدمت خواهند نمود و نیز حیوانات صحرا را به او دادم.»

For thus hath said the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, A yoke of iron have I placed upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon; and they shall work for him: and also the beasts of the field have I given him.

۱۵ 15 آنگاه ارمیا نبی به حننیا نبی گفت: «ای حننیا بشنو! خداوند تو را نفرستاده است بلکه تواین قوم را وامیداری که به دروغ توکل نمایند.

Then said Jeremiah the prophet unto Chananyah the prophet, Hear now, Chananyah, The Lord did not send thee; but thou hast caused this people to trust on a falsehood.

۱۶ 16 بنابراین خداوند چنین می‌گوید: اینک من تو رااز روی این زمین دور می‌اندازم و تو امسال خواهی مرد زیرا که سخنان فتنه انگیز به ضدخداوند گفتی.»

Therefore thus hath said the Lord, Behold, I will send thee away from off the face of the earth: this year shalt thou die, because thou hast spoken rebellion against the Lord.

۱۷ 17 پس در ماه هفتم همانسال حننیا نبی مرد.

So Chananyah the prophet died in that same year, in the seventh month.
