اشعیا 56

۱ 1 و خداوند چنین می‌گوید: «انصاف رانگاه داشته، عدالت را جاری نمایید، زیرا که آمدن نجات من و منکشف شدن عدالت من نزدیک است.

Thus said Jehovah: 'Keep ye judgment, and do righteousness, For near [is] My salvation to come, And My righteousness to be revealed.'

۲ 2 خوشابحال انسانی که این را بجا آورد و بنی آدمی که به این متمسک گردد، که سبت را نگاه داشته، آن را بی‌حرمت نکند و دست خویش را از هر عمل بد باز‌دارد.»

O the happiness of a man who doth this, And of a son of man who keepeth hold on it, Keeping the sabbath from polluting it, And keeping his hand from doing any evil.

۳ 3 پس غریبی که با خداوند مقترن شده باشد تکلم نکند و نگویدکه خداوند مرا از قوم خود جدا نموده است وخصی هم نگوید که اینک من درخت خشک هستم.

Nor speak let a son of the stranger, Who is joined unto Jehovah, saying: 'Jehovah doth certainly separate me from His people.' Nor say let the eunuch, 'Lo, I am a tree dried up,'

۴ 4 زیرا خداوند درباره خصیهایی که سبت های مرا نگاه دارند و آنچه را که من خوش دارم اختیار نمایند و به عهد من متمسک گردند، چنین می‌گوید

For thus said Jehovah of the eunuchs, Who do keep My sabbaths, And have fixed on that which I desired, And are keeping hold on My covenant:

۵ 5 که «به ایشان در خانه خود و دراندرون دیوارهای خویش یادگاری و اسمی بهتراز پسران و دختران خواهم داد. اسمی جاودانی که منقطع نخواهد شد به ایشان خواهم بخشید.

I have given to them in My house, And within My walls a station and a name, Better than sons and than daughters, A name age-during I give to him That is not cut off.

۶ 6 و غریبانی که با خداوند مقترن شده، او راخدمت نمایند و اسم خداوند را دوست داشته، بنده او بشوند. یعنی همه کسانی که سبت را نگاه داشته، آن را بی‌حرمت نسازند و به عهد من متمسک شوند.

And sons of the stranger, who are joined to Jehovah, To serve Him, and to love the name of Jehovah, To be to Him for servants, Every keeper of the sabbath from polluting it, And those keeping hold on My covenant.

۷ 7 ایشان را به کوه قدس خودخواهم آورد و ایشان را در خانه عبادت خودشادمان خواهم ساخت و قربانی های سوختنی وذبایح ایشان بر مذبح من قبول خواهد شد، زیراخانه من به خانه عبادت برای تمامی قوم‌ها مسمی خواهد شد.»

I have brought them unto My holy mountain, And caused them to rejoice in My house of prayer, Their burnt-offerings and their sacrifices [Are] for a pleasing thing on Mine altar, For My house, 'A house of prayer,' Is called for all the peoples.

۸ 8 و خداوند یهوه که جمع کننده رانده شدگان اسرائیل است می‌گوید که «بعد از این دیگران را با ایشان جمع خواهم کرد علاوه برآنانی که از ایشان جمع شده‌اند.»

An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah, Who is gathering the outcasts of Israel: 'Again I gather to him — to his gathered ones.'

۹ 9 ‌ای تمام حیوانات صحرا و‌ای جمیع حیوانات جنگل بیایید و بخورید!

Every beast of the field, Come to devour, every beast in the forest.

۱۰ 10 دیده بانان اوکورند، جمیع ایشان معرفت ندارند و همگی ایشان سگان گنگ‌اند که نمی توانند بانگ کنند.

Blind [are] his watchmen — all of them, They have not known, All of them [are] dumb dogs, they are not able to bark, Dozing, lying down, loving to slumber.

۱۱ 11 و این سگان حریصند که نمی توانندسیر بشوند و ایشان شبانند که نمی توانندبفهمند. جمیع ایشان به راه خود میل کرده، هریکی بطرف خود طالب سود خویش می‌باشد.

And the dogs [are] strong of desire, They have not known sufficiency, And they [are] shepherds! They have not known understanding, All of them to their own way they did turn, Each to his dishonest gain from his quarter:

۱۲ 12 (و می‌گویند) بیایید شراب بیاوریم و ازمسکرات مست شویم و فردا مثل امروز روزعظیم بلکه بسیار زیاده خواهد بود.

'Come ye, I take wine, And we drink, quaff strong drink, And as this day hath been to-morrow, Great — exceeding abundant!'
