اشعیا 35

۱ 1 بیابان و زمین خشک شادمان خواهدشد و صحرا به وجد آمده، مثل گل سرخ خواهد شکفت.

The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.

۲ 2 شکوفه بسیار نموده، باشادمانی و ترنم شادی خواهد کرد. شوکت لبنان و زیبایی کرمل و شارون به آن عطا خواهد شد. جلال یهوه و زیبایی خدای ما را مشاهده خواهندنمود.

It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, [and] the excellency of our God.

۳ 3 دستهای سست را قوی سازید و زانوهای لرزنده را محکم گردانید.

Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.

۴ 4 به دلهای خائف بگویید: قوی شوید و مترسید اینک خدای شما باانتقام می‌آید. او با عقوبت الهی می‌آید و شما رانجات خواهد داد.

Say to them [that are] of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come [with] vengeance, [even] God [with] a recompence; he will come and save you.

۵ 5 آنگاه چشمان کوران باز خواهد شد وگوشهای کران مفتوح خواهد گردید.

Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.

۶ 6 آنگاه لنگان مثل غزال جست و خیز خواهند نمود وزبان گنگ خواهد سرایید. زیرا که آبها در بیابان ونهرها در صحرا خواهد جوشید.

Then shall the lame [man] leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.

۷ 7 و سراب به برکه و مکان های خشک به چشمه های آب مبدل خواهد گردید. در مسکنی که شغالها می‌خوابندعلف و بوریا و نی خواهد بود.

And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, [shall be] grass with reeds and rushes.

۸ 8 و در آنجاشاهراهی و طریقی خواهد بود و به طریق مقدس نامیده خواهد شد و نجسان از آن عبور نخواهندکرد بلکه آن به جهت ایشان خواهد بود. و هرکه در آن راه سالک شود اگرچه هم جاهل باشدگمراه نخواهد گردید.

And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it [shall be] for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err [therein].

۹ 9 شیری در آن نخواهد بودو حیوان درنده‌ای بر آن برنخواهد آمد و در آنجایافت نخواهد شد بلکه ناجیان بر آن سالک خواهند گشت.

No lion shall be there, nor [any] ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk [there: ]

۱۰ 10 و فدیه شدگان خداوندبازگشت نموده، با ترنم به صهیون خواهند آمد وخوشی جاودانی بر سر ایشان خواهد بود. وشادمانی و خوشی را خواهند یافت و غم و ناله فرار خواهد کرد.

And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
