اشعیا 34

۱ 1 ای امت‌ها نزدیک آیید تا بشنوید! و‌ای قوم‌ها اصغا نمایید! جهان و پری آن بشنوند. ربع مسکون و هرچه از آن صادر باشد.

Neiye, ye hethene men, and here; and ye puplis, perseyue; the erthe, and the fulnesse therof, the world, and al buriownyng therof, here ye.

۲ 2 زیرا که غضب خداوند بر تمامی امت‌ها و خشم وی بر جمیع لشکرهای ایشان است پس ایشان رابه هلاکت سپرده، بقتل تسلیم نموده است.

For whi indignacioun of the Lord is on alle folkis, and strong veniaunce on al the chyualrie of hem; he killide hem, and yaf hem in to sleyng.

۳ 3 وکشتگان ایشان دور افکنده می‌شوند و عفونت لاشهای ایشان برمی آید. و از خون ایشان کوههاگداخته می‌گردد.

The slayn men of hem schulen be cast forth, and stynk schal stie of the careyns of hem; hillis schulen flete of the blood of hem.

۴ 4 و تمامی لشکر آسمان از هم خواهند پاشید و آسمان مثل طومار پیچیده خواهد شد. و تمامی لشکر آن پژمرده خواهندگشت، بطوریکه برگ از مو بریزد و مثل میوه نارس از درخت انجیر.

۵ 5 زیرا که شمشیر من درآسمان سیراب شده است. و اینک بر ادوم و برقوم مغضوب من برای داوری نازل می‌شود.

For my swerd is fillid in heuene; lo! it schal come doun on Ydumee, and on the puple of my sleyng, to doom.

۶ 6 شمشیر خداوند پر خون شده و از پیه فربه گردیده است یعنی از خون بره‌ها و بزها و از پیه گرده قوچها. زیرا خداوند را در بصره قربانی است و ذبح عظیمی در زمین ادوم.

The swerd of the Lord is fillid of blood, it is maad fat of the ynner fatnesse of the blood of lambren and of buckis of geet, of the blood of rammes ful of merow; for whi the slayn sacrifice of the Lord is in Bosra, and greet sleyng is in the lond of Edom.

۷ 7 و گاوان وحشی باآنها خواهند افتاد و گوساله‌ها با گاوان نر. و زمین ایشان از خون سیراب شده، خاک ایشان از پیه فربه خواهد شد.

And vnycornes schulen go doun with hem, and bolis with hem that ben myyti; the lond of hem schal be fillid with blood, and the erthe of hem with ynnere fatnesse of fatte beestis;

۸ 8 زیرا خداوند را روز انتقام و سال عقوبت به جهت دعوی صهیون خواهد بود.

for it is a dai of veniaunce of the Lord, a yeer of yeldyng of the dom of Sion.

۹ 9 و نهرهای آن به قیر و غبار آن به کبریت مبدل خواهد شد وزمینش قیر سوزنده خواهد گشت.

And the strondis therof schulen be turned in to pitche, and the erthe therof in to brymstoon; and the lond therof schal be in to brennyng pitch, niyt and dai.

۱۰ 10 شب و روزخاموش نشده، دودش تا به ابد خواهد برآمد. نسلا بعد نسل خراب خواهد ماند که کسی تاابدالاباد در آن گذر نکند.

It schal not be quenchid withouten ende, the smoke therof schal stie fro generacioun in to generacioun, and it schal be desolat in to worldis of worldis; noon schal passe therbi.

۱۱ 11 بلکه مرغ سقا وخارپشت آن را تصرف خواهند کرد و بوم وغراب در آن ساکن خواهند شد و ریسمان خرابی و شاقول ویرانی را بر آن خواهد کشید.

And onocrotalus, and an irchoun schulen welde it; and a capret, and a crowe schulen dwelle therynne; and a mesure schal be stretchid forth theronne, that it be dryuun to nouyt, and an hangynge plomet in to desolacyoun.

۱۲ 12 و ازاشراف آن کسی در آنجا نخواهد بود که او را به پادشاهی بخوانند و جمیع روسایش نیست خواهند شد.

The noble men therof schulen not be there; rathere thei schulen clepe the kyng in to help, and alle the princes therof schulen be in to nouyt.

۱۳ 13 و در قصرهایش خارها خواهدرویید و در قلعه هایش خسک و شتر خار و مسکن گرگ و خانه شترمرغ خواهد شد.

And thornes and nettlis schulen growe in the housis therof, and a tasil in the strengthis therof; and it schal be the couche of dragouns, and the lesewe of ostrichis.

۱۴ 14 و وحوش بیابان با شغال خواهند برخورد و غول به رفیق خود ندا خواهد داد و عفریت نیز در آنجا ماواگزیده، برای خود آرامگاهی خواهد یافت.

And fendis, and wondurful beestis, lijk men in the hiyere part and lijk assis in the nethir part, and an heeri schulen meete; oon schal crie to an other.

۱۵ 15 درآنجا تیرمار آشیانه ساخته، تخم خواهد نهاد و برآن نشسته، بچه های خود را زیر سایه خود جمع خواهد کرد و در آنجا کرکسها با یکدیگر جمع خواهند شد.

Lamya schal ligge there, and foond rest there to hir silf; there an irchoun hadde dichis, and nurschide out whelpis, and diggide aboute, and fostride in the schadewe therof; there kitis weren gaderid togidere, oon to another.

۱۶ 16 از کتاب خداوند تفتیش نموده، مطالعه کنید. یکی از اینها گم نخواهد شد و یکی جفت خود را مفقود نخواهد یافت زیرا که دهان او این را امر فرموده و روح او اینها را جمع کرده است.

Seke ye diligentli in the book of the Lord, and rede ye; oon of tho thingis failide not, oon souyte not another; for he comaundide that thing, that goith forth of my mouth, and his spirit he gaderide tho togidere.

۱۷ 17 و او برای آنها قرعه انداخته و دست اوآن را به جهت آنها با ریسمان تقسیم نموده است. و تا ابدالاباد متصرف آن خواهند شد و نسلا بعدنسل در آن سکونت خواهند داشت.

And he sente to hem eritage, and his hond departide it in mesure; til in to withouten ende tho schulen welde that lond, in generacioun and in to generacioun tho schulen dwelle ther ynne.
