اشعیا 23

۱ 1 وحی درباره صور ای کشتیهای ترشیش ولوله نمایید زیراکه بحدی خراب شده است که نه خانه‌ای و نه مدخلی باقی‌مانده. از زمین کتیم خبر به ایشان رسیده است.

The birthun of Tire. Ye schippis of the see, yelle, for the hous is distried, fro whennus coumfort was wont to come; fro the lond of Cethym, and was schewid to hem.

۲ 2 ‌ای ساکنان ساحل که تاجران صیدون که از دریا عبور می‌کنند تو را پرساخته‌اند آرام گیرید.

Be ye stille, that dwellen in the ile, the marchaundie of Sidon; men passynge the see filliden thee in many watris;

۳ 3 و دخل او از محصول شیحور و حصاد نیل بر آبهای بسیار می‌بود پس اوتجارت گاه امت‌ها شده است.

the seed of Nylus is heruest, the flood is the corn therof, and it is maad the marchaundie of hethene men.

۴ 4 ‌ای صیدون خجل شو زیرا که دریا یعنی قلعه دریا متکلم شده، می‌گوید درد زه نکشیده‌ام و نزاییده‌ام وجوانان را نپرورده‌ام و دوشیزگان را تربیت نکرده‌ام.

Thou, Sidon, be aschamed, seide the see, the strengthe of the see, and seide, Y trauelide not of child, and Y childide not, and Y nurschide not yonge men, and Y brouyte not fulli virgyns to encreessyng.

۵ 5 چون این خبر به مصر برسد از اخبارصور بسیار دردناک خواهند شد.

Whanne it schal be herd in Egipt, thei schulen make sorewe, whanne thei heren of Tire.

۶ 6 ‌ای ساکنان ساحل دریا به ترشیش بگذرید وولوله نمایید.

Passe ye the sees; yelle ye, that dwellen in the ile.

۷ 7 آیا این شهر مفتخر شما است که قدیمی و از ایام سلف بوده است و پایهایش او رابه‌جای دور برده، تا در آنجا ماوا گزیند؟

Whether this citee is not youre, that hadde glorie fro elde daies in his eldnesse? the feet therof schulen lede it fer, to go in pilgrymage.

۸ 8 کیست که این قصد را درباره صور آن شهر تاج بخش که تجار وی سروران و بازرگانان او شرفای جهان بوده‌اند نموده است.

Who thouyte this thing on Tire sum tyme crownede, whos marchauntis weren princes, the selleris of marchaundie therof weren noble men of erthe?

۹ 9 یهوه صبایوت این قصد رانموده است تا تکبر تمامی جلال را خوار سازد وجمیع شرفای جهان را محقر نماید.

The Lord of oostis thouyte this thing, that he schulde drawe doun the pride of al glorie, and that he schulde bringe to schenschipe alle the noble men of erthe.

۱۰ 10 ‌ای دختر ترشیش از زمین خود مثل نیل بگذر زیرا که دیگر هیچ بند برای تو نیست.

Thou douyter of the see, passe thi lond as a flood; a girdil is no more to thee.

۱۱ 11 اودست خود را بر دریا دراز کرده، مملکتها رامتحرک ساخته است. خداوند درباره کنعان امرفرموده است تا قلعه هایش را خراب نمایند.

It stretchide forth his hond aboue the see, and disturblide rewmes. The Lord sente ayenes Canaan, for to al to-breke the stronge men therof;

۱۲ 12 وگفته است: ای دوشیزه ستم رسیده و‌ای دخترصیدون دیگر مفتخر نخواهی شد. برخاسته، به کتیم بگذر اما در آنجا نیز راحت برای تو نخواهدبود.

and he seide, Thou maide, the douyter of Sidon, that suffrist caleng, schalt no more adde, that thou haue glorie. Rise thou, and passe ouer the see in to Sechym; there also no reste schal be to thee.

۱۳ 13 اینک زمین کلدانیان که قومی نبودند وآشور آن را به جهت صحرانشینان بنیاد نهاد. ایشان منجنیقهای خود را افراشته، قصرهای آن را منهدم و آن را به خرابی مبدل خواهند ساخت.

Lo! the lond of Caldeis, sich a puple was not; Assur foundide that Tyre; thei ledden ouer in to caitifte the strong men therof; thei myneden the housis therof, thei settiden it in to fallyng.

۱۴ 14 ‌ای کشتیهای ترشیش ولوله نمایید زیرا که قلعه شما خراب شده است.

Yelle, ye schippis of the see, for youre strengthe is distried.

۱۵ 15 و در آن روز واقع خواهد شد که صور، هفتاد سال مثل ایام یک پادشاه فراموش خواهدشد و بعد از انقضای هفتاد سال برای صور مثل سرود زانیه خواهد بود.

And it schal be, in that dai, thou Tire, schalt be in foryetyng bi seuenti yeer, as the daies of o king; but aftir seuenti yeer, as the song of an hoore schal be to Tyre.

۱۶ 16 ‌ای زانیه فراموش شده بربط را گرفته، در شهر گردش نما. خوش بنواز وسرودهای بسیار بخوان تا به یاد آورده شوی.

Thou hoore, youun to foryetyng, take an harpe, cumpasse the citee; synge thou wel, vse thou ofte a song, that mynde be of thee.

۱۷ 17 وبعد از انقضای هفتاد سال واقع می‌شود که خداوند از صور تفقد خواهد نمود و به اجرت خویش برگشته با جمیع ممالک جهان که بر روی زمین است زنا خواهد نمود.

And it schal be, aftir seuenti yeer, the Lord schal visite Tire, and schal brynge it ayen to hise hiris; and eft it schal be, whanne it schal do fornycacioun with alle rewmes of erthe, on the face of erthe.

۱۸ 18 و تجارت واجرت آن برای خداوند وقف شده ذخیره و اندوخته نخواهد شد بلکه تجارتش برای مقربان درگاه خداوند خواهد بود تا به سیری بخورند ولباس فاخر بپوشند.

And the marchaundies therof and the meedis therof schulen be halewid to the Lord; tho schulen not be hid, nethir schulen be leid vp; for whi the marchaundie therof schal be to hem that dwellen bifore the Lord, that thei ete to fulnesse, and be clothid `til to eldnesse.
