حبقوق 1
| وحی که حبقوق نبی آن را دید. | ۱ 1 |
The burden which Habakkuk the prophet saw.
| ای خداوند تا به کی فریاد برمی آورم ونمی شنوی؟ تا به کی نزد تو از ظلم فریادبرمی آورم و نجات نمی دهی؟ | ۲ 2 |
O LORD, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! [even] cry out to thee [of] violence, and thou wilt not save!
| چرا بی‌انصافی رابه من نشان می‌دهی و بر ستم نظر می‌نمایی وغضب و ظلم پیش روی من می‌باشد؟ منازعه پدید می‌آید و مخاصمت سر خود را بلندمی کند. | ۳ 3 |
Why dost thou show me iniquity, and cause [me] to behold grievance? for devastation and violence [are] before me: and there are [that] raise strife and contention.
| از این سبب، شریعت سست شده است و عدالت هرگز صادر نمی شود. چونکه شریران عادلان را احاطه می‌نمایند. بنابراین عدالت معوج شده صادر می‌گردد. | ۴ 4 |
Therefore the law is slackened, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth encompass the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.
| در میان امت‌ها نظر کنید و ملاحظه نمایید وبشدت متحیر شوید. زیرا که در ایام شما کاری می‌کنم که اگر شما را هم از آن مخبر سازند، باورنخواهید کرد. | ۵ 5 |
Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvelously: for [I] will work a work in your days, [which] ye will not believe though it be told [you].
| زیرا که اینک آن امت تلخ وتندخو، یعنی کلدانیان را برمی انگیزانم که دروسعت جهان می‌خرامند تا مسکن هایی را که ازآن ایشان نیست به تصرف آورند. | ۶ 6 |
For lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, [that] bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwelling-places [that are] not theirs.
| ایشان هولناک و مهیب می‌باشند. حکم و جلال ایشان از خودایشان صادر می‌شود. | ۷ 7 |
They [are] terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed from themselves.
| اسبان ایشان از پلنگهاچالاکتر و از گرگان شب تیزروترند و سواران ایشان جست و خیز می‌کنند. و سواران ایشان ازجای دور آمده، مثل عقابی که برای خوراک بشتابد می‌پرند. | ۸ 8 |
Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle [that] hasteth to eat.
| جمیع ایشان برای ظلم می‌آیند. عزیمت روی ایشان بطرف پیش است و اسیران رامثل ریگ جمع می‌کنند. | ۹ 9 |
They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up [as] the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand.
| و ایشان پادشاهان رااستهزا می‌نمایند و سروران مسخره ایشان می‌باشند. بر همه قلعه‌ها می‌خندند و خاک راتوده نموده، آنها را مسخر می‌سازند. | ۱۰ 10 |
And they shall scoff at the kings, and the princes shall be a scorn to them: they shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it.
| پس مثل باد بشتاب رفته، عبور می‌کنند و مجرم می‌شوند. این قوت ایشان خدای ایشان است. | ۱۱ 11 |
Then shall [his] mind change, and he shall pass over, and offend, [imputing] this his power to his god.
| ای یهوه خدای من! ای قدوس من! آیا تو ازازل نیستی؟ پس نخواهیم مرد. ای خداوند ایشان را برای داوری معین کرده‌ای و‌ای صخره، ایشان را برای تادیب تاسیس نموده‌ای. | ۱۲ 12 |
[Art] thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, my Holy One? We shall not die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.
| چشمان توپاکتر است از اینکه به بدی بنگری و به بی‌انصافی نظر نمی توانی کرد. پس چرا خیانتکاران راملاحظه می‌نمایی و حینی که شریر کسی را که ازخودش عادل تر است می‌بلعد، خاموش می‌مانی؟ | ۱۳ 13 |
[Thou art] of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: why lookest thou on them that deal treacherously, [and] keepest silence when the wicked devoureth [the man that is] more righteous than he?
| و مردمان را مثل ماهیان دریا و مانندحشراتی که حاکمی ندارند می‌گردانی؟ | ۱۴ 14 |
And makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping animals [that have] no ruler over them?
| اوهمگی ایشان را به قلاب برمی کشد و ایشان را به دام خود می‌گیرد و در تور خویش آنها را جمع می‌نماید. از اینجهت، مسرور و شادمان می‌شود. | ۱۵ 15 |
They take up all of them with the angle, they catch them in their net, and gather them in their drag: therefore they rejoice and are glad.
| بنابراین، برای دام خود قربانی می‌گذراند و برای تور خویش بخور می‌سوزاند. چونکه نصیب او از آنها فربه و خوراک وی لذیذ می‌شود. | ۱۶ 16 |
Therefore they sacrifice to their net, and burn incense to their drag; because by them their portion [is] fat, and their food plenteous.
| آیااز اینجهت دام خود را خالی خواهد کرد و ازپیوسته کشتن امت‌ها دریغ نخواهد نمود؟ | ۱۷ 17 |
Shall they therefore empty their net, and not spare continually to slay the nations?
