۱ 1 و خداوند به نوح گفت: «تو و تمامی اهل خانه ات به کشتی در آیید، زیرا تو را در این عصر به حضور خود عادل دیدم.

Also the Lord seide to Noe, Entre thou and al thin hous in to the schip, for Y seiy thee iust bifore me in this generacioun.

۲ 2 و از همه بهایم پاک، هفت هفت، نر و ماده با خود بگیر، و از بهایم ناپاک، دودو، نر و ماده،

Of alle clene lyuynge beestis thou schalt take bi seuene and bi seuene, male and female; forsothe of vnclene lyuynge beestis thou schalt take bi tweyne and bi tweyne, male and female;

۳ 3 و از پرندگان آسمان نیزهفت هفت، نر و ماده را، تا نسلی بر روی تمام زمین نگاه داری.

but also of volatils of heuene thou schalt take, bi seuene and bi seuene, male and female, that her seed be saued on the face of al erthe.

۴ 4 زیرا که من بعد از هفت روزدیگر، چهل روز و چهل شب باران می‌بارانم، وهر موجودی را که ساخته‌ام، از روی زمین محومی سازم.»

For yit and aftir seuene daies Y schal reyne on erthe fourti daies and fourti nyytis, and Y schal do awey al substaunce which Y made, fro the face of erthe.

۵ 5 پس نوح موافق آنچه خداوند او را امرفرموده بود، عمل نمود.

Therfor Noe dide alle thingis whiche the Lord comaundide to hym.

۶ 6 و نوح ششصد ساله بود، چون طوفان آب بر زمین آمد.

And he was of sixe hundrid yeer, whanne the watris of the greet flood flowiden on erthe.

۷ 7 و نوح وپسرانش و زنش و زنان پسرانش با وی از آب طوفان به کشتی در‌آمدند.

And Noe entride in to the schip, and hise sones, and hise wijf, and the wyues of his sones, entriden with him for the watris of the greet flood.

۸ 8 از بهایم پاک و ازبهایم ناپاک، و از پرندگان و از همه حشرات زمین،

And of lyuynge beestis clene and vnclene, and of briddis of heuene, and of ech beeste which is moued on erthe,

۹ 9 دودو، نر و ماده، نزد نوح به کشتی در‌آمدند، چنانکه خدا نوح را امر کرده بود.

bi tweyne and bi tweyne, male and female entriden to Noe in to the schip, as the Lord comaundide to Noe.

۱۰ 10 و واقع شدبعد از هفت روز که آب طوفان بر زمین آمد.

And whanne seuene daies hadden passid, the watris of the greet flood flowiden on erthe.

۱۱ 11 و در سال ششصد از زندگانی نوح، در روزهفدهم از ماه دوم، در همان روز جمیع چشمه های لجه عظیم شکافته شد، و روزنهای آسمان گشوده.

In the sixe hundrid yeer of the lijf of Noe, in the secunde moneth, in the seuententhe dai of the moneth, alle the wellis of the greet see weren brokun, and the wyndowis of heuene weren opened,

۱۲ 12 و باران، چهل روز و چهل شب بر روی زمین می‌بارید.

and reyn was maad on erthe fourti daies and fourti nyytis.

۱۳ 13 در همان روز نوح وپسرانش، سام و حام و یافث، و زوجه نوح و سه زوجه پسرانش، با ایشان داخل کشتی شدند.

In the ende of that dai Noe entride, and Sem, Cham, and Japheth, hise sones, his wijf, and the wyues of hise sones, entriden with hem into the schip.

۱۴ 14 ایشان و همه حیوانات به اجناس آنها، و همه بهایم به اجناس آنها، و همه حشراتی که بر زمین می‌خزند به اجناس آنها، و همه پرندگان به اجناس آنها، همه مرغان و همه بالداران.

Thei entriden, and ech beeste bi his kynde, and alle werk beestis in her kynde, and ech beeste which is moued on erthe in his kynde, and ech volatil bi his kynde; alle briddis and alle volatils entriden to Noe in to the schip,

۱۵ 15 دودواز هر ذی جسدی که روح حیات دارد، نزد نوح به کشتی در‌آمدند.

bi tweyne and bi tweyne of ech fleisch in whiche the spirit of lijf was.

۱۶ 16 و آنهایی که آمدند نر و ماده از هر ذی جسد آمدند، چنانکه خدا وی را امرفرموده بود. و خداوند در را از عقب او بست.

And tho that entriden, entriden male and female of ech fleisch, as God comaundide to hym. And the Lord encloside hym fro with out-forth.

۱۷ 17 و طوفان چهل روز بر زمین می‌آمد، و آب همی افزود و کشتی را برداشت که از زمین بلندشد.

And the greet flood was maad fourti daies and fourti niytis on erthe, and the watris weren multiplied, and reiseden the schip on hiy fro erthe.

۱۸ 18 و آب غلبه یافته، بر زمین همی افزود، وکشتی بر سطح آب می‌رفت.

The watris flowiden greetli, and filliden alle thingis in the face of erthe. Forsothe the schip was borun on the watris.

۱۹ 19 و آب بر زمین زیاد و زیاد غلبه یافت، تا آنکه همه کوههای بلندکه زیر تمامی آسمانها بود، مستور شد.

And the watris hadden maistrie greetli on erthe, and alle hiye hillis vndur alle heuene weren hilid;

۲۰ 20 پانزده ذراع بالاتر آب غلبه یافت و کوهها مستور گردید.

the watyr was hiyere bi fiftene cubitis ouer the hilis whiche it hilide.

۲۱ 21 و هر ذی جسدی که بر زمین حرکت می‌کرد، ازپرندگان و بهایم و حیوانات و کل حشرات خزنده بر زمین، و جمیع آدمیان، مردند.

And ech fleisch was wastid that was moued on erthe, of briddis, of lyuynge beestis, of vnresonable beestis, and of alle `reptilis that crepen on erthe.

۲۲ 22 هرکه دم روح حیات در بینی او بود، از هر‌که در خشکی بود، مرد.

Alle men, and alle thingis in whiche the brething of lijf was in erthe, weren deed.

۲۳ 23 و خدا محو کرد هر موجودی را که برروی زمین بود، از آدمیان و بهایم و حشرات وپرندگان آسمان، پس از زمین محو شدند. و نوح باآنچه همراه وی در کشتی بود فقط باقی ماند.

And God dide awei al substaunce that was on erthe, fro man til to beeste, as wel a crepynge beeste as the briddis of heuene; and tho weren doon awei fro erthe. Forsothe Noe dwellide aloone, and thei that weren with hym in the schip.

۲۴ 24 وآب بر زمین صد و پنجاه روز غلبه می‌یافت.

And the watris of the greet flood ouereyeden the erthe an hundrid and fifti daies.
