| این است کتاب پیدایش آدم. در روزی که خدا آدم را آفرید، به شبیه خدا او راساخت. | ۱ 1 |
This [is] an account of the generations of Adam. In the day of God’s creating man, in the likeness of God He has made him;
| نر و ماده ایشان را آفرید. و ایشان رابرکت داد و ایشان را «آدم» نام نهاد، در روزآفرینش ایشان. | ۲ 2 |
a male and a female He has created them, and He blesses them, and calls their name Man, in the day of their being created.
| و آدم صد و سی سال بزیست، پس پسری به شبیه و بصورت خود آورد، و او را شیث نامید. | ۳ 3 |
And Adam lives one hundred and thirty years [[or two hundred and thirty years]], and begets [a son] in his likeness, according to his image, and calls his name Seth.
| وایام آدم بعد از آوردن شیث، هشتصد سال بود، وپسران و دختران آورد. | ۴ 4 |
And the days of Adam after his begetting Seth are eight hundred years [[or seven hundred years]], and he begets sons and daughters.
| پس تمام ایام آدم که زیست، نهصد و سی سال بود که مرد. | ۵ 5 |
And all the days of Adam which he lived are nine hundred and thirty years, and he dies.
| و شیث صد و پنج سال بزیست، و انوش را آورد. | ۶ 6 |
And Seth lives one hundred and five years [[or two hundred and five years]], and begets Enos.
| وشیث بعد از آوردن انوش، هشتصد و هفت سال بزیست و پسران و دختران آورد. | ۷ 7 |
And Seth lives after his begetting Enos eight hundred and seven years [[or seven hundred and seven years]], and begets sons and daughters.
| و جمله ایام شیث، نهصد و دوازده سال بود که مرد. | ۸ 8 |
And all the days of Seth are nine hundred and twelve years, and he dies.
| و انوش نود سال بزیست، و قینان را آورد. | ۹ 9 |
And Enos lives ninety years [[or one hundred and ninety years]], and begets Cainan.
| و انوش بعداز آوردن قینان، هشتصد و پانزده سال زندگانی کرد و پسران و دختران آورد. | ۱۰ 10 |
And Enos lives after his begetting Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years [[or seven hundred and fifteen years]], and begets sons and daughters.
| پس جمله ایام انوش نهصد و پنج سال بود که مرد. | ۱۱ 11 |
And all the days of Enos are nine hundred and five years, and he dies.
| و قینان هفتاد سال بزیست، و مهللئیل را آورد. | ۱۲ 12 |
And Cainan lives seventy years [[or one hundred and seventy years]], and begets Mahalaleel.
| و قینان بعد از آوردن مهللئیل، هشتصد و چهل سال زندگانی کرد و پسران و دختران آورد. | ۱۳ 13 |
And Cainan lives after his begetting Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years [[or seven hundred and forty years]], and begets sons and daughters.
| و تمامی ایام قینان، نهصد و ده سال بود که مرد. | ۱۴ 14 |
And all the days of Cainan are nine hundred and ten years, and he dies.
| ومهللئیل، شصت و پنج سال بزیست، و یارد را آورد. | ۱۵ 15 |
And Mahalaleel lives sixty-five years [[or one hundred and sixty-five years]], and begets Jared.
| و مهللئیل بعد از آوردن یارد، هشتصد وسی سال زندگانی کرد و پسران و دختران آورد. | ۱۶ 16 |
And Mahalaleel lives after his begetting Jared eight hundred and thirty years [[or seven hundred and thirty years]], and begets sons and daughters.
| پس همه ایام مهللئیل، هشتصد و نود و پنج سال بود که مرد. | ۱۷ 17 |
And all the days of Mahalaleel are eight hundred and ninety-five years, and he dies.
| و یارد صد و شصت و دو سال بزیست، و خنوخ را آورد. | ۱۸ 18 |
And Jared lives one hundred and sixty-two years, and begets Enoch.
| و یارد بعد از آوردن خنوخ، هشتصد سال زندگانی کرد و پسران ودختران آورد. | ۱۹ 19 |
And Jared lives after his begetting Enoch eight hundred years, and begets sons and daughters.
| و تمامی ایام یارد، نهصد وشصت و دو سال بود که مرد. | ۲۰ 20 |
And all the days of Jared are nine hundred and sixty-two years, and he dies.
| و خنوخ شصت وپنج سال بزیست، و متوشالح را آورد. | ۲۱ 21 |
And Enoch lives sixty-five years [[or one hundred and sixty-five years]], and begets Methuselah.
| و خنوخ بعد از آوردن متوشالح، سیصد سال با خدا راه می‌رفت و پسران و دختران آورد. | ۲۲ 22 |
And Enoch habitually walks with God after his begetting Methuselah three hundred years [[or two hundred years]], and begets sons and daughters.
| و همه ایام خنوخ، سیصد و شصت و پنج سال بود. | ۲۳ 23 |
And all the days of Enoch are three hundred and sixty-five years.
| وخنوخ با خدا راه می‌رفت و نایاب شد، زیرا خدااو را برگرفت. | ۲۴ 24 |
And Enoch habitually walks with God, and he is not, for God has taken him.
| و متوشالح صد و هشتاد و هفت سال بزیست، و لمک را آورد. | ۲۵ 25 |
And Methuselah lives one hundred and eighty-seven years, and begets Lamech.
| و متوشالح بعداز آوردن لمک، هفتصد و هشتاد و دو سال زندگانی کرد و پسران و دختران آورد. | ۲۶ 26 |
And Methuselah lives after his begetting Lamech seven hundred and eighty-two years, and begets sons and daughters.
| پس جمله ایام متوشالح، نهصد و شصت و نه سال بودکه مرد. | ۲۷ 27 |
And all the days of Methuselah are nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and he dies.
| و لمک صد و هشتاد و دو سال بزیست، و پسری آورد. | ۲۸ 28 |
And Lamech lives one hundred and eighty-two years [[or one hundred and eighty-eight years]], and begets a son,
| و وی را نوح نام نهاده گفت: «این ما را تسلی خواهد داد از اعمال ما و ازمحنت دستهای ما از زمینی که خداوند آن راملعون کرد.» | ۲۹ 29 |
and calls his name Noah, saying, “This [one] comforts us concerning our work, and concerning the labor of our hands, because of the ground which YHWH has cursed.”
| و لمک بعد از آوردن نوح، پانصدو نود و پنج سال زندگانی کرد و پسران و دختران آورد. | ۳۰ 30 |
And Lamech lives after his begetting Noah five hundred and ninety-five years [[or five hundred and sixty-five years]], and begets sons and daughters.
| پس تمام ایام لمک، هفتصد و هفتاد وهفت سال بود که مرد. | ۳۱ 31 |
And all the days of Lamech are seven hundred and seventy-seven years [[or seven hundred and fifty-three years]], and he dies.
| و نوح پانصد ساله بود، پس نوح سام و حام و یافث را آورد. | ۳۲ 32 |
And Noah is a son of five hundred years, and Noah begets Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
