| و اینانند روسای آبای ایشان و این است نسب نامه آنانی که در سلطنت ارتحشستاپادشاه، با من از بابل برآمدند: | ۱ 1 |
These are now the chief of their fathers, and this is the genealogy of them that went up with me from Babylon, in the reign of Artaxerxes the king.
| از بنی فینحاس، جرشوم و از بنی‌ایتامار، دانیال و از بنی داود، حطوش. | ۲ 2 |
Of the sons of Phinehas; Gershom: of the sons of Ithamar; Daniel: of the sons of David; Hattush.
| و از بنی شکنیا از بنی فروش، زکریا و بااو صد و پنجاه نفر از ذکوران به نسب نامه شمرده شدند. | ۳ 3 |
Of the sons of Shechaniah, of the sons of Pharosh; Zechariah: and with him were reckoned by genealogy of the males an hundred and fifty.
| از بنی فحت، موآب الیهو عینای ابن زرحیا و با او دویست نفر از ذکور. | ۴ 4 |
Of the sons of Pahathmoab; Elihoenai the son of Zerahiah, and with him two hundred males.
| از بنی شکنیا، ابن یحزیئیل و با او سیصد نفر از ذکور. | ۵ 5 |
Of the sons of Shechaniah; the son of Jahaziel, and with him three hundred males.
| ازبنی عادین، عابد بن یوناتان و با او پنجاه نفر ازذکور. | ۶ 6 |
Of the sons also of Adin; Ebed the son of Jonathan, and with him fifty males.
| از بنی عیلام، اشعیا ابن عتلیا و با او هفتادنفر از ذکور. | ۷ 7 |
And of the sons of Elam; Jeshaiah the son of Athaliah, and with him seventy males.
| از بنی شفطیا، زبدیا ابن میکائیل و بااو هشتاد نفر از ذکور. | ۸ 8 |
And of the sons of Shephatiah; Zebadiah the son of Michael, and with him fourscore males.
| از بنی یوآب، عوبدیا ابن یحئیل و با او دویست و هجده نفر از ذکور. | ۹ 9 |
Of the sons of Joab; Obadiah the son of Jehiel, and with him two hundred and eighteen males.
| واز بنی شلومیت بن یوسفیا و با او صد وشصت نفراز ذکور. | ۱۰ 10 |
And of the sons of Shelomith; the son of Josiphiah, and with him an hundred and threescore males.
| و از بنی بابای، زکریا ابن بابای و با او بیست و هشت نفر از ذکور. | ۱۱ 11 |
And of the sons of Bebai; Zechariah the son of Bebai, and with him twenty and eight males.
| و از بنی عزجد، یوحانان بن هقاطان و با او صد و ده نفر از ذکور. | ۱۲ 12 |
And of the sons of Azgad; Johanan the son of Hakkatan, and with him an hundred and ten males.
| و موخران از بنی ادونیقام بودند و این است نامهای ایشان: الیفلط ویعیئیل و شمعیا و با ایشان شصت نفر از ذکور. | ۱۳ 13 |
And of the last sons of Adonikam, whose names are these, Eliphelet, Jeiel, and Shemaiah, and with them threescore males.
| و از بنی بغوای، عوتای وزبود و با ایشان هفتاد نفر از ذکور. | ۱۴ 14 |
Of the sons also of Bigvai; Uthai, and Zabbud, and with them seventy males.
| پس ایشان را نزد نهری که به اهوا می‌رودجمع کردم و در آنجا سه روز اردو زدیم و چون قوم و کاهنان را بازدید کردم، از بنی لاوی کسی رادر آنجا نیافتم. | ۱۵ 15 |
And I gathered them together to the river that runs to Ahava; and there abode we in tents three days: and I viewed the people, and the priests, and found there none of the sons of Levi.
| پس نزد الیعزر و اریئیل وشمعیا و الناتان و یاریب و الناتان و ناتان و زکریا ومشلام که روسا بودند و نزد یویاریب و الناتان که علما بودند، فرستادم. | ۱۶ 16 |
Then sent I for Eliezer, for Ariel, for Shemaiah, and for Elnathan, and for Jarib, and for Elnathan, and for Nathan, and for Zechariah, and for Meshullam, chief men; also for Joiarib, and for Elnathan, men of understanding.
| و پیغامی برای عدوی رئیس، در مکان کاسفیا به‌دست ایشان فرستادم وسخنانی که باید به عدو و برادرانش نتینیم که درمکان کاسقیا بودند بگویند، به ایشان القا کردم تاخادمان به جهت خانه خدای ما نزد ما بیاورند. | ۱۷ 17 |
And I sent them with commandment unto Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and I told them what they should say unto Iddo, and to his brethren the Nethinims, at the place Casiphia, that they should bring unto us ministers for the house of our God.
| و از دست نیکوی خدای ما که با ما می‌بود، شخصی دانشمند از پسران محلی ابن لاوی ابن اسرائیل برای ما آوردند، یعنی شربیا را با پسران وبرادرانش که هجده نفر بودند. | ۱۸ 18 |
And by the good hand of our God upon us they brought us a man of understanding, of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah, with his sons and his brethren, eighteen;
| و حشبیا را نیز وبا او از بنی مراری اشعیا را. و برادران او و پسران ایشان را که بیست نفر بودند. | ۱۹ 19 |
And Hashabiah, and with him Jeshaiah of the sons of Merari, his brethren and their sons, twenty;
| و از نتینیم که داودو سروران، ایشان را برای خدمت لاویان تعیین نموده بودند. از نتینیم دویست و بیست نفر که جمیع به نام ثبت شده بودند. | ۲۰ 20 |
Also of the Nethinims, whom David and the princes had appointed for the service of the Levites, two hundred and twenty Nethinims: all of them were expressed by name.
| پس من در آنجانزد نهر اهوا به روزه داشتن اعلان نمودم تاخویشتن را در حضور خدای خود متواضع نموده، راهی راست برای خود و عیال خویش وهمه اموال خود از او بطلبیم. | ۲۱ 21 |
Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.
| زیرا خجالت داشتم که سپاهیان و سواران از پادشاه بخواهیم تاما را از دشمنان در راه اعانت کنند، چونکه به پادشاه عرض کرده، گفته بودیم که دست خدای ما بر هر‌که او را می‌طلبد، به نیکویی می‌باشد، اماقدرت و غضب او به ضد آنانی که او را ترک می‌کنند. | ۲۲ 22 |
For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.
| پس روزه گرفته، خدای خود را برای این طلب نمودیم و ما را مستجاب فرمود. | ۲۳ 23 |
So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was implored of us.
| ودوازده نفر از روسای کهنه، یعنی شربیا و حشبیا وده نفر از برادران ایشان را با ایشان جدا کردم. | ۲۴ 24 |
Then I separated twelve of the chief of the priests, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brethren with them,
| ونقره و طلا و ظروف هدیه خدای ما را که پادشاه ومشیران و سرورانش و تمامی اسرائیلیانی که حضور داشتند داده بودند، به ایشان وزن نمودم. | ۲۵ 25 |
And weighed unto them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, even the offering of the house of our God, which the king, and his counsellors, and his lords, and all Israel there present, had offered:
| پس ششصد و پنجاه وزنه نقره و صد وزنه ظروف نقره و صد وزنه طلا به‌دست ایشان وزن نمودم. | ۲۶ 26 |
I even weighed unto their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels an hundred talents, and of gold an hundred talents;
| و بیست طاس طلا هزار درهم و دوظرف برنج صیقلی خالص که مثل طلا گرانبها بود. | ۲۷ 27 |
Also twenty basons of gold, of a thousand drams; and two vessels of fine copper, precious as gold.
| و به ایشان گفتم: «شما برای خداوند مقدس می‌باشید و ظروف نیز مقدس است و نقره و طلا به جهت یهوه خدای پدران شما هدیه تبرعی است. | ۲۸ 28 |
And I said unto them, All of you are holy unto the LORD; the vessels are holy also; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering unto the LORD God of your fathers.
| پس بیدار باشید و اینها را حفظ نمایید تا به حضور روسای کهنه و لاویان و سروران آبای اسرائیل در اورشلیم، به حجره های خانه خداوندبه وزن بسپارید.» | ۲۹ 29 |
Watch all of you, and keep them, until all of you weigh them before the chief of the priests and the Levites, and chief of the fathers of Israel, at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the LORD.
| آنگاه کاهنان و لاویان وزن طلا و نقره وظروف را گرفتند تا آنها را به خانه خدای ما به اورشلیم برسانند. | ۳۰ 30 |
So took the priests and the Levites the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring them to Jerusalem unto the house of our God.
| پس در روز دوازدهم ماه اول از نهر اهوا کوچ کرده، متوجه اورشلیم شدیم و دست خدای ما با ما بود و ما را از دست دشمنان و کمین نشینندگان سر راه خلاصی داد. | ۳۱ 31 |
Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in wait by the way.
| و چون به اورشلیم رسیدیم سه روز درآنجاتوقف نمودیم. | ۳۲ 32 |
And we came to Jerusalem, and abode there three days.
| و در روز چهارم، نقره و طلا و ظروف را در خانه خدای ما به‌دست مریموت بن اوریای کاهن وزن کردند و العازار بن فینحاس با اوبود و یوزاباد بن یشوع و نوعدیا ابن بنوی لاویان باایشان بودند. | ۳۳ 33 |
Now on the fourth day was the silver and the gold and the vessels weighed in the house of our God by the hand of Meremoth the son of Uriah the priest; and with him was Eleazar the son of Phinehas; and with them was Jozabad the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah the son of Binnui, Levites;
| همه را به شماره و به وزن (حساب کردند) و وزن همه در آن وقت نوشته شد. | ۳۴ 34 |
By number and by weight of every one: and all the weight was written at that time.
| و اسیرانی که از اسیری برگشته بودند، قربانی های سوختنی برای خدای اسرائیل گذرانیدند، یعنی دوازده گاو و نود و شش قوچ وهفتاد و هفت بره و دوازده بز نر، به جهت قربانی گناه، برای تمامی اسرائیل که همه اینها قربانی سوختنی برای خداوند بود. | ۳۵ 35 |
Also the children of those that had been carried away, which were come out of the captivity, offered burnt offerings unto the God of Israel, twelve bullocks for all Israel, ninety and six rams, seventy and seven lambs, twelve he goats for a sin offering: all this was a burnt offering unto the LORD.
| و چون فرمانهای پادشاه را به امرای پادشاه و والیان ماورای نهردادند، ایشان قوم و خانه خدا را اعانت نمودند. | ۳۶ 36 |
And they delivered the king's commissions unto the king's lieutenants, and to the governors on this side the river: and they furthered the people, and the house of God.
