حزقیال 6

۱ 1 و کلام خداوند بر من نازل شده، گفت:

Then came the word of Yahweh. unto me saying,

۲ 2 «ای پسر انسان نظر خود را بر کوههای اسرائیل بدوز و درباره آنها نبوت کن.

Son of man, Set thy face against the mountains of Israel, — and prophesy unto them;

۳ 3 و بگو: ای کوههای اسرائیل کلام خداوند یهوه را بشنوید! خداوند یهوه به کوهها و تلها و وادیها و دره هاچنین می‌فرماید: اینک من شمشیری بر شمامی آورم و مکان های بلند شما را خراب خواهم کرد.

and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear ye the word of My Lord Yahweh, — Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh- To the mountains and to the hills to the hollows and to the valleys, - Behold me! I, am bringing upon you a sword, And I will destroy your high places;

۴ 4 و مذبح های شما منهدم و تمثالهای شمسی شما شکسته خواهد شد و کشتگان شمارا پیش بتهای شما خواهم‌انداخت. و لاشهای بنی‌اسرائیل را پیش بتهای ایشان خواهم گذاشت و استخوانهای شما را گرداگرد مذبح های شما خواهم پاشید.

And your altars shall be laid waste, And your sun-pillars shall be broken in pieces, — And I will cause your slain to fall before your manufactured gods;

And I will lay the carcases of the sons of Israel before their manufactured gods, — And will scatter your bones round about your altars.

۶ 6 و در جمیع مساکن شما شهرهاخراب و مکان های بلند ویران خواهد شد تا آنکه مذبح های شما خراب و ویران شود و بتهای شماشکسته و نابود گردد و تمثالهای شمسی شمامنهدم و اعمال شمامحو شود.

In all your dwelling-places, The cities, shall be laid waste, and, The high places, shall be made desolate, To the end your altars may be laid waste and become desolate. And your manufactured gods be broken in pieces and cease, And your sun-pillars be cut down, And your handiworks be abolished.

۷ 7 و چون کشتگان شما در میان شما بیفتند، آنگاه خواهی دانست که من یهوه هستم.

And the slain shall fall in your midst, So shall ye know that I am Yahweh.

۸ 8 اما بقیتی نگاه خواهم داشت. وچون در میان کشورها پراکنده شوید، بقیه السیف شما در میان امت‌ها ساکن خواهند شد.

Yet will I leave a remnant: In that ye shall have such as are escaped of the sword throughout the nations, when ye are scattered throughout the lands.

۹ 9 ونجات‌یافتگان شما در میان امت‌ها در جایی که ایشان را به اسیری برده‌اند مرا یاد خواهند داشت. چونکه دل زناکار ایشان را که از من دور شده است خواهم شکست و چشمان ایشان را که در عقب بتهای ایشان زنا کرده است - پس خویشتن را به‌سبب اعمال زشتی که در همه رجاسات خودنموده‌اند مکروه خواهند داشت.

Then shall they who have escaped of you remember me, among the nations whither they have been carried captive, In that I have broken their adulterous heart, which hath turned aside from me, And their eyes which have adulterously gone after their manufactured gods, So shall they become loathsome in their own sight, for the wicked things which they have done in all their abominations.

۱۰ 10 و خواهنددانست که من یهوه هستم و عبث نگفتم که این بلارا بر ایشان وارد خواهم آورد.»

Then shall they know that, I, Yahweh, —not in vain, had threatened to bring upon them this calamity.

۱۱ 11 خداوند یهوه چنین می‌گوید: «به‌دست خود بزن و پای خود را بر زمین بکوب و بگو: وای بر تمامی رجاسات و شریر خاندان اسرائیل زیراکه به شمشیر و قحط و وباخواهد افتاد.

Thus saith My Lord. Yahweh, Smite with thy hand, and stamp with thy foot and say, Alas! regarding all the wicked abominations of the house of Israel, —in that by sword, by famine, and by pestilence, shall they fall:

۱۲ 12 آنکه دور باشد به وبا خواهد مرد و آنکه نزدیک است به شمشیر خواهد افتادو آنکه باقی‌مانده و درمحاصره باشد از گرسنگی خواهد مرد و من حدت خشم خود را بر ایشان به اتمام خواهم رسانید.

He that is far off by pestilence, shall die and He that is near by the sword, shall fall, and He that is left and is besieged by the famine, shall die; Thus will I make an end of mine indignation against them.

۱۳ 13 و خواهید دانست که من یهوه هستم، هنگامی که کشتگان ایشان در میان بتهای ایشان به اطراف مذبح های ایشان، بر هر تل بلند و برقله های تمام کوهها و زیر هر درخت سبز و زیر هر بلوط کشن، در جایی که هدایای خوشبو برای همه بتهای خود می‌گذرانیدند یافت خواهند شد.

So shall ye know that I, am Yahweh, In that their slain are in the midst of their manufactured gods, on every side of their altars, — Upon every high hill In all the tops of the mountains and Under every green tree and Under every tangled oak, The place where they offered a satisfying odour to all their manufactured gods.

۱۴ 14 و دست خود را بر ایشان دراز کرده، زمین را درتمام مسکن های ایشان خرابتر و ویرانتر از بیابان دبله خواهم ساخت. پس خواهند دانست که من یهوه هستم.»

Thus will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land a greater waste and devastation than the desert toward Diblah throughout all their dwelling-places, - And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.
