خروج 24

۱ 1 و به موسی گفت: «نزد خداوند بالابیا، تو و هارون و ناداب و ابیهو و هفتادنفر از مشایخ اسرائیل و از دور سجده کنید.

He said to Moses [Drawn out], “Come up to Adonai, you, and Aaron [Light-bringer], Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel [God prevails]; and worship from a distance.

۲ 2 وموسی تنها نزدیک خداوند بیاید و ایشان نزدیک نیایند و قوم همراه او بالا نیایند.»

Moses [Drawn out] alone shall come near to Adonai, but they shall not come near. The people shall not go up with him.”

۳ 3 پس موسی آمده، همه سخنان خداوند و همه این احکام را به قوم باز‌گفت و تمامی قوم به یک زبان در جواب گفتند: «همه سخنانی که خداوند گفته است، بجاخواهیم آورد.»

Moses [Drawn out] came and told the people all Adonai’s words, and all the judgments; and all the people answered with one voice, and said, “All the words which Adonai has spoken will we do.”

۴ 4 و موسی تمامی سخنان خداوند را نوشت و بامدادان برخاسته، مذبحی درپای کوه و دوازده ستون، موافق دوازده سبطاسرائیل بنا نهاد.

Moses [Drawn out] wrote all Adonai’s words, and rose up early in the morning, and built an altar under the mountain, and twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel [God prevails].

۵ 5 و بعضی از جوانان بنی‌اسرائیل را فرستاد و قربانی های سوختنی گذرانیدند وقربانی های سلامتی از گاوان برای خداوند ذبح کردند.

He sent young men of the children of Israel [God prevails], who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of cattle to Adonai.

۶ 6 و موسی نصف خون را گرفته، در لگنهاریخت و نصف خون را بر مذبح پاشید،

Moses [Drawn out] took half of the blood and put it in basins, and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.

۷ 7 و کتاب عهد را گرفته، به سمع قوم خواند. پس گفتند: «هرآنچه خداوند گفته است، خواهیم کرد و گوش خواهیم گرفت.»

He took the book of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people, and they said, “All that Adonai has spoken will we do, and be sh'ma ·hear obey·.”

۸ 8 و موسی خون را گرفت و بر قوم پاشیده، گفت: «اینک خون آن عهدی که خداوند بر جمیع این سخنان با شما بسته است.»

Moses [Drawn out] took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, “Look, this is the blood of the covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties·, which Adonai has made with you concerning all these words.”

۹ 9 و موسی با هارون و ناداب و ابیهو و هفتاد نفراز مشایخ اسرائیل بالا رفت.

Then Moses [Drawn out], Aaron [Light-bringer], Nadab, Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel [God prevails] went up.

۱۰ 10 و خدای اسرائیل را دیدند، و زیر پایهایش مثل صنعتی از یاقوت کبود شفاف و مانند ذات آسمان در صفا.

They saw the God of Israel [God prevails]. Under his feet was like a paved work of sapphire stone, like the skies for clearness.

۱۱ 11 و برسروران بنی‌اسرائیل دست خود را نگذارد، پس خدا را دیدند و خوردند و آشامیدند.

He didn’t lay his hand on the nobles of the children of Israel [God prevails]. They saw God, and ate and drank.

۱۲ 12 وخداوند به موسی گفت: «نزد من به کوه بالا بیا، وآنجا باش تا لوحهای سنگی و تورات و احکامی را که نوشته‌ام تا ایشان را تعلیم نمایی، به تو دهم.»

Adonai said to Moses [Drawn out], “Come up to me on the mountain, and stay here, and I will give you the stone tablets with the Torah ·Teaching· and the mitzvot ·instructions· that I have written, that you may teach them.”

۱۳ 13 پس موسی با خادم خود یوشع برخاست، وموسی به کوه خدا بالا آمد.

Moses [Drawn out] rose up with Joshua [Salvation Yah], his servant, and Moses [Drawn out] went up onto God’s Mountain.

۱۴ 14 و به مشایخ گفت: «برای ما در اینجا توقف کنید، تا نزد شمابرگردیم، همانا هارون و حور با شما می‌باشند. پس هر‌که امری دارد، نزد ایشان برود.»

He said to the elders, “Wait here for us, until we come again to you. Behold, Aaron [Light-bringer] and Hur are with you. Whoever is involved in a dispute can go to them.”

۱۵ 15 و چون موسی به فراز کوه برآمد، ابر کوه را فرو گرفت.

Moses [Drawn out] went up on the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain.

۱۶ 16 و جلال خداوند بر کوه سینا قرار گرفت، وشش روز ابر آن را پوشانید، و روز هفتمین، موسی را از میان ابر ندا درداد.

Adonai’s shekhinah [manifest weighty glory and presence of God] settled on Mount Sinai [Thorn], and the cloud covered it six days. The seventh day he called to Moses [Drawn out] out of the middle of the cloud.

۱۷ 17 و منظر جلال خداوند، مثل آتش سوزنده در نظر بنی‌اسرائیل برقله کوه بود.

The appearance of the kavod Yahweh ·weighty glory of He sustains breathing· was like devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel [God prevails].

۱۸ 18 و موسی به میان ابر داخل شده، به فراز کوه برآمد، و موسی چهل روز و چهل شب در کوه ماند.

Moses [Drawn out] entered into the middle of the cloud, and went up on the mountain; and Moses [Drawn out] was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.
