استر 4

۱ 1 و چون مردخای از هرآنچه شده بود اطلاع یافت، مردخای جامه خود را دریده، پلاس با خاکستر در بر کرد و به میان شهر بیرون رفته، به آواز بلند فریاد تلخ برآورد.

And Mordecai he knew all that it had been done and he tore Mordecai clothes his and he put on sackcloth and ash[es] and he went out in [the] midst of the city and he cried a cry loud and bitter.

۲ 2 و تاروبروی دروازه پادشاه آمد، زیرا که جایز نبود که کسی با لباس پلاس داخل دروازه پادشاه بشود.

And he went to before [the] gate of the king for not to go into [the] gate of the king in clothing of sackcloth.

۳ 3 و در هر ولایتی که امر و فرمان پادشاه به آن رسید، یهودیان را ماتم عظیمی و روزه و گریه ونوحه گری بود و بسیاری در پلاس و خاکسترخوابیدند.

And in every province and province [the] place where [the] word of the king and law his [were] reaching mourning great [belonged] to the Jews and fasting and weeping and wailing sackcloth and ash[es] it was spread as a bed by many [people].

۴ 4 پس کنیزان و خواجه‌سرایان استر آمده، اورا خبر دادند و ملکه بسیار محزون شد و لباس فرستاد تا مردخای را بپوشانند و پلاس او را ازوی بگیرند، اما او قبول نکرد.

(And they came *Qk) [the] maids of Esther and eunuchs her and they told to her and she agonized the queen exceedingly and she sent garments to clothe Mordecai and to remove sackcloth his from on him and not he accepted [them].

۵ 5 آنگاه استر، هتاک را که یکی از خواجه‌سرایان پادشاه بود و او را به جهت خدمت وی تعیین نموده بود، خواند و او راامر فرمود که از مردخای بپرسد که این چه امراست و سببش چیست.

And she summoned Esther Hathach one of [the] eunuchs of the king whom he had made stand before her and she commanded him on Mordecai to know what? [was] this and concerning what? [was] this.

۶ 6 پس هتاک به سعه شهرکه پیش دروازه پادشاه بود، نزد مردخای بیرون رفت.

And he went out Hathach to Mordecai to [the] open place of the city which [was] before [the] gate of the king.

۷ 7 و مردخای او را از هرچه به او واقع شده واز مبلغ نقره‌ای که هامان به جهت هلاک ساختن یهودیان وعده داده بود که آن را به خزانه پادشاه بدهد، خبر داد.

And he told to him Mordecai all that it had happened to him and - [the] exact amount of the silver which he had said Haman to weigh out to [the] treasuries of the king (for the Jews *Qk) to destroy them.

۸ 8 و سواد نوشته فرمان را که درشوشن به جهت هلاکت ایشان صادر شده بود، به او داد تا آن را به استر نشان دهد و وی را مخبرسازد و وصیت نماید که نزد پادشاه داخل شده، ازاو التماس نماید و به جهت قوم خویش از وی درخواست کند.

And copy of [the] writing of the law which it had been given in Susa to annihilate them he gave to him to show Esther and to tell to her and to command to her to go to the king to seek favor to him and to request from to before him on people her.

۹ 9 پس هتاک داخل شده، سخنان مردخای را به استر بازگفت.

And he came Hathach and he told to Esther [the] words of Mordecai.

۱۰ 10 و استر هتاک را جواب داده، او راامر فرمود که به مردخای بگوید

And she said Esther to Hathach and she commanded him to Mordecai.

۱۱ 11 که «جمیع خادمان پادشاه و ساکنان ولایتهای پادشاه می‌دانند که به جهت هرکس، خواه مرد و خواه زن که نزد پادشاه به صحن اندرونی بی‌اذن داخل شود، فقط یک حکم است که کشته شود، مگرآنکه پادشاه چوگان زرین را بسوی او دراز کند تازنده بماند. و سی روز است که من خوانده نشده‌ام که به حضور پادشاه داخل شوم.»

All [the] servants of the king and [the] people of [the] provinces of the king [are] knowing that every man and woman who he goes to the king into the court inner who not he is summoned [is] one law his to put to death apart from that he extends to him the king [the] scepter of gold and he will live and I not I have been summoned to go to the king this thirty day[s].

۱۲ 12 پس سخنان استر را به مردخای باز‌گفتند.

And they told to Mordecai [the] words of Esther.

۱۳ 13 و مردخای گفت به استر جواب دهید: «در دل خود فکر مکن که تو در خانه پادشاه به خلاف سایر یهود، رهایی خواهی یافت.

And he said Mordecai to bring back to Esther may not you imagine in self your to escape [the] house of the king from all the Jews.

۱۴ 14 بلکه اگر در این وقت تو ساکت بمانی، راحت و نجات برای یهود از جای دیگر پدید خواهد شد. اما تو وخاندان پدرت هلاک خواهید گشت و کیست بداند که به جهت چنین وقت به سلطنت نرسیده‌ای.»

That except certainly you will keep quiet at the time this relief and deliverance it will arise for the Jews from a place another and you and [the] house of father your you will perish and who? [is] knowing if for a time like this you have reached the queenhood.

۱۵ 15 پس استر فرمود به مردخای جواب دهید

And she said Esther to bring back to Mordecai.

۱۶ 16 که «برو و تمامی یهود را که در شوشن یافت می‌شوند جمع کن و برای من روزه گرفته، سه شبانه‌روز چیزی مخورید و میاشامید و من نیز باکنیزانم همچنین روزه خواهیم داشت. و به همین طور، نزد پادشاه داخل خواهم شد، اگر‌چه خلاف حکم است. و اگر هلاک شدم، هلاک شدم.»

Go gather all the Jews who are found in Susa and fast on me and may not you eat and may not you drink three days night and day also I and maids my I will fast thus and in such I will go to the king which not [is] according to the law and just as I have perished I have perished.

۱۷ 17 پس مردخای رفته، موافق هرچه استر وی را وصیت کرده بود، عمل نمود.

And he passed on Mordecai and he did according to all that she had commanded to him Esther.
