تثنیه 32

۱ 1 و زمین سخنان دهانم را بشنود.

Give ear, you heavens, and I will speak. Let the earth hear the words of my mouth.

۲ 2 تعلیم من مثل باران خواهد بارید. و کلام من مثل شبنم خواهد ریخت. مثل قطره های باران بر سبزه تازه، و مثل بارشها بر نباتات.

My doctrine shall drop as the rain. My speech shall condense as the dew, as the small rain on the tender grass, as the showers on the herb.

۳ 3 زیرا که نام یهوه را ندا خواهم کرد. خدای ما رابه عظمت وصف نمایید.

For I will proclaim the name of the LORD. Ascribe greatness to our God.

۴ 4 او صخره است و اعمال او کامل. زیرا همه طریقهای او انصاف است. خدای امین و از ظلم مبرا. عادل و راست است او.

The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A faithful God and without iniquity, just and right is he.

۵ 5 ایشان خود را فاسد نموده، فرزندان او نیستندبلکه عیب ایشانند. طبقه کج و متمردند.

They have dealt corruptly with him. They are not his children, because of their defect. They are a perverse and crooked generation.

۶ 6 آیا خداوند را چنین مکافات می‌دهید، ای قوم احمق و غیر حکیم. آیا او پدر و مالک تو نیست. او تو را آفرید و استوار نمود.

Do you thus requite the LORD, foolish people and unwise? Isn't he your father who has bought you? He has made you, and established you.

۷ 7 ایام قدیم را بیاد آور. در سالهای دهر به دهرتامل نما. از پدر خود بپرس تا تو را آگاه سازد. واز مشایخ خویش تا تو را اطلاع دهند.

Remember the days of old. Consider the years of many generations. Ask your father, and he will show you; your elders, and they will tell you.

۸ 8 چون حضرت اعلی به امتها نصیب ایشان را دادو بنی آدم را منتشر ساخت، آنگاه حدود امتها راقرار داد، برحسب شماره بنی‌اسرائیل.

When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he divided humankind, he set the bounds of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God.

۹ 9 زیرا که نصیب یهوه قوم وی است. و یعقوب قرعه میراث اوست.

For the LORD's portion is his people. Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.

۱۰ 10 او را در زمین ویران یافت. و در بیابان خراب وهولناک. او را احاطه کرده، منظور داشت. و او را مثل مردمک چشم خود محافظت نمود.

He found him in a desert land, in the waste howling wilderness. He surrounded him. He cared for him. He kept him as the apple of his eye.

۱۱ 11 مثل عقابی که آشیانه خود را حرکت دهد. وبچه های خود را فرو‌گیرد. و بالهای خود را پهن کرده، آنها را بردارد. و آنها را بر پرهای خود ببرد.

As an eagle that stirs up her nest, that flutters over her young, he spread abroad his wings, he took them, he bore them on his feathers.

۱۲ 12 همچنین خداوند تنها او را رهبری نمود. وهیچ خدای بیگانه با وی نبود.

The LORD alone led him. There was no foreign god with him.

۱۳ 13 او را بر بلندیهای زمین سوار کرد تا ازمحصولات زمین بخورد. و شهد را از صخره به اوداد تا مکید. و روغن را از سنگ خارا.

He made him ride on the high places of the earth. He ate the increase of the field. He caused him to suck honey out of the rock, oil out of the flinty rock;

۱۴ 14 کره گاوان و شیر گوسفندان را با پیه بره‌ها وقوچها را از جنس باشان و بزها. و پیه گرده های گندم را. و شراب از عصیر انگور نوشیدی.

Butter of the herd, and milk of the flock, with fat of lambs, rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the finest of the wheat. Of the blood of the grape you drank wine.

۱۵ 15 لیکن یشورون فربه شده، لگد زد. تو فربه وتنومند و چاق شده‌ای. پس خدایی را که او راآفریده بود، ترک کرد. و صخره نجات خود راحقیر شمرد.

But Jacob ate his fill. Jeshurun grew fat, and kicked. You have grown fat. You have grown thick. You have become sleek. Then he forsook God who made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

۱۶ 16 او را به خدایان غریب به غیرت آوردند. وخشم او را به رجاسات جنبش دادند.

They moved him to jealousy with strange gods. They provoked him to anger with abominations.

۱۷ 17 برای دیوهایی که خدایان نبودند، قربانی گذرانیدند، برای خدایانی که نشناخته بودند، برای خدایان جدید که تازه به وجود آمده، وپدران ایشان از آنها نترسیده بودند.

They sacrificed to demons, not God, to gods that they did not know, to new gods that came up recently, which your fathers did not dread.

۱۸ 18 و به صخره‌ای که تو را تولید نمود، اعتناننمودی. و خدای آفریننده خود را فراموش کردی.

the Rock who fathered you, you are unmindful, and have forgotten God who gave you birth.

۱۹ 19 چون یهوه این را دید ایشان را مکروه داشت. چونکه پسران و دخترانش خشم او را به هیجان آوردند.

The LORD saw and abhorred, because of the provocation of his sons and his daughters.

۲۰ 20 پس گفت روی خود را از ایشان خواهم پوشید. تا ببینم که عاقبت ایشان چه خواهد بود. زیرا طبقه بسیار گردن کشند. و فرزندانی که امانتی در ایشان نیست.

He said, "I will hide my face from them. I will see what their end shall be; for they are a very perverse generation, children in whom is no faithfulness.

۲۱ 21 ایشان مرا به آنچه خدا نیست به غیرت آوردند. و به اباطیل خود مرا خشمناک گردانیدند. و من ایشان را به آنچه قوم نیست به غیرت خواهم آورد. و به امت باطل، ایشان را خشمناک خواهم ساخت.

They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God. They have provoked me to anger with their vanities. I will move them to jealousy with those who are not a people. I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.

۲۲ 22 زیرا آتشی در غضب من افروخته شده. و تاهاویه پایین‌ترین شعله‌ور شده است. و زمین را باحاصلش می‌سوزاند. و اساس کوهها را آتش خواهد زد. (Sheol h7585)

For a fire is kindled in my anger, and burns to the lowest Sheol, and devours the earth with its increase, and sets the foundations of the mountains on fire. (Sheol h7585)

۲۳ 23 بر ایشان بلایا را جمع خواهم کرد. و تیرهای خود را تمام بر ایشان صرف خواهم نمود.

"I will heap evils on them. I will spend my arrows on them.

۲۴ 24 از گرسنگی کاهیده، و از آتش تب، و از وبای تلخ تلف می‌شوند. و دندانهای وحوش را به ایشان خواهم فرستاد، با زهر خزندگان زمین.

They shall be wasted with hunger, and devoured with burning heat and bitter destruction. I will send the teeth of animals on them, With the poison of crawling creatures of the dust.

۲۵ 25 شمشیر از بیرون و دهشت از اندرون. ایشان رابی اولاد خواهد ساخت. هم جوان و هم دوشیزه را. شیرخواره را با ریش سفید هلاک خواهد کرد.

Outside the sword shall bereave, and in the rooms, terror; on both young man and virgin, The nursing infant with the gray-haired man.

۲۶ 26 می‌گفتم ایشان را پراکنده کنم و ذکر ایشان را ازمیان مردم، باطل سازم.

I said, I want to cut them to pieces. I will remove the memory of them from men;

۲۷ 27 اگر از کینه دشمن نمی ترسیدم که مبادامخالفان ایشان برعکس آن فکر کنند، و بگوینددست ما بلند شده، و یهوه همه این را نکرده است.

were it not that I feared the provocation of the enemy, lest their adversaries should judge wrongly, lest they should say, 'Our hand is exalted, the LORD has not done all this.'"

۲۸ 28 زیرا که ایشان قوم گم کرده تدبیر هستند. و درایشان بصیرتی نیست.

For they are a nation void of counsel. There is no understanding in them.

۲۹ 29 کاش که حکیم بوده، این را می‌فهمیدید. و درعاقبت خود تامل می‌نمودند.

Oh that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end.

۳۰ 30 چگونه یک نفر هزار را تعاقب می‌کرد. و دو نفرده هزار را منهزم می‌ساختند. اگر صخره ایشان، ایشان را نفروخته. و خداوند، ایشان را تسلیم ننموده بود.

How could one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had delivered them up?

۳۱ 31 زیرا که صخره ایشان مثل صخره ما نیست. اگرچه هم دشمنان ما خود، حکم باشند.

For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.

۳۲ 32 زیرا که مو ایشان از موهای سدوم است، و ازتاکستانهای عموره. انگورهای ایشان انگورهای حنظل است، و خوشه های ایشان تلخ است.

For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, of the fields of Gomorrah. Their grapes are grapes of gall, Their clusters are bitter.

۳۳ 33 شراب ایشان زهر اژدرهاست. و سم قاتل افعی.

Their wine is the poison of serpents, The cruel venom of asps.

۳۴ 34 آیا این نزد من مکنون نیست. و درخزانه های من مختوم نی.

"Isn't this laid up in store with me, sealed up among my treasures?

۳۵ 35 انتقام و جزا از آن من است، هنگامی که پایهای ایشان بلغزد، زیرا که روز هلاکت ایشان نزدیک است و قضای ایشان می‌شتابد.

Vengeance is mine, I will repay, at the time when their foot slides; for the day of their calamity is near, and the things to come hasten upon them."

۳۶ 36 زیرا خداوند، قوم خود را داوری خواهدنمود. و بر بندگان خویش شفقت خواهد کرد. چون می‌بیند که قوت ایشان نابود شده، وهیچکس چه غلام و چه آزاد باقی نیست.

For the LORD will judge his people, and have compassion on his servants, when he sees that their strength is gone and there is none remaining, confined or set free.

۳۷ 37 و خواهد گفت: خدایان ایشان کجایند، وصخره‌ای که بر آن اعتماد می‌داشتند.

And he will say, "Where are their gods, the rock in which they took refuge?

۳۸ 38 که پیه قربانی های ایشان را می‌خوردند. و شراب هدایای ریختنی‌ایشان را می‌نوشیدند. آنهابرخاسته، شما را امداد کنند. و برای شما ملجاباشند.

Who ate the fat of their sacrifices and drank the wine of their drink offering? Let them rise up and help you. Let them be your protection.

۳۹ 39 الان ببینید که من خود، او هستم. و با من خدای دیگری نیست. من می‌میرانم و زنده می‌کنم. مجروح می‌کنم و شفا می‌دهم. و از دست من رهاننده‌ای نیست.

"See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god besides me. I kill, and I make alive. I wound, and I heal; and there is no one who can deliver out of my hand.

۴۰ 40 زیرا که دست خود را به آسمان برمی افرازم، ومی گویم که من تا ابدالاباد زنده هستم.

For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, 'As I live forever,

۴۱ 41 اگر شمشیر براق خود را تیز کنم. و قصاص رابه‌دست خود گیرم. آنگاه از دشمنان خود انتقام خواهم کشید. و به خصمان خود مکافات خواهم رسانید.

if I sharpen my flashing sword and my hand takes hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to my adversaries, and will recompense those who hate me.

۴۲ 42 تیرهای خود را از خون مست خواهم ساخت. و شمشیر من گوشت را خواهد خورد. از خون کشتگان و اسیران، با روسای سروران دشمن.

I will make my arrows drunk with blood. My sword shall devour flesh with the blood of the slain and the captives, from the head of the leaders of the enemy.'"

۴۳ 43 ‌ای امتها با قوم او آواز شادمانی دهید. زیراانتقام خون بندگان خود را گرفته است. و ازدشمنان خود انتقام کشیده و برای زمین خود وقوم خویش کفاره نموده است.

Rejoice, O heavens, with him, and let all the angels of God worship him. Rejoice, O nations, with his people, and let all the children of God strengthen themselves in him. For he will avenge the blood of his children, and he will render vengeance to his enemies, and he will recompense them that hate him, and he atones for the land of his people.

۴۴ 44 و موسی آمده، تمامی سخنان این سرود رابه سمع قوم رسانید، او و یوشع بن نون.

Moses came and spoke all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he and Joshua the son of Nun.

۴۵ 45 و چون موسی از گفتن همه این سخنان به تمامی اسرائیل فارغ شد،

Moses made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel;

۴۶ 46 به ایشان گفت: «دل خود را به همه سخنانی که من امروز به شما شهادت می‌دهم، مشغول سازید، تا فرزندان خود را حکم دهید که متوجه شده، تمامی کلمات این تورات را به عمل آورند.

He said to them, "Set your heart to all the words which I testify to you this day, which you shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.

۴۷ 47 زیرا که این برای شما امر باطل نیست، بلکه حیات شماست، و به واسطه این امر، عمرخود را در زمینی که شما برای تصرفش از اردن به آنجا عبور می‌کنید، طویل خواهید ساخت.»

For it is no vain thing for you; because it is your life, and through this thing you shall prolong your days in the land, where you go over the Jordan to possess it."

۴۸ 48 و خداوند در همان روز موسی را خطاب کرده، گفت:

The LORD spoke to Moses that same day, saying,

۴۹ 49 «به این کوه عباریم یعنی جبل نبوکه در زمین موآب در مقابل اریحاست برآی، وزمین کنعان را که من آن را به بنی‌اسرائیل به ملکیت می‌دهم ملاحظه کن.

"Go up into this mountain of Abarim, to Mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is over against Jericho; and see the land of Canaan, which I give to the children of Israel for a possession;

۵۰ 50 و تو در کوهی که به آن برمی آیی وفات کرده، به قوم خود ملحق شو، چنانکه برادرت هارون در کوه هور مرد و به قوم خود ملحق شد.

and die on the mountain where you go up, and be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother died on Mount Hor, and was gathered to his people:

۵۱ 51 زیرا که شما در میان بنی‌اسرائیل نزد آب مریبا قادش در بیابان سین به من تقصیر نمودید، چون که مرا در میان بنی‌اسرائیل تقدیس نکردید.

because you trespassed against me in the midst of the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah of Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because you did not sanctify me in the midst of the children of Israel.

۵۲ 52 پس زمین را پیش روی خود خواهی دید، لیکن به آنجا به زمینی که به بنی‌اسرائیل می‌دهم، داخل نخواهی شد.»

For you shall see the land before you; but you shall not go there into the land which I give the children of Israel."
