دانیال 8
| در سال سوم سلطنت بلشصر پادشاه، رویایی بر من دانیال ظاهر شد بعد از آنکه اول به من ظاهر شده بود. | ۱ 1 |
In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, even unto me, Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first.
| و در رویا نظر کردم ومی دیدم که من در دارالسلطنه شوشن که درولایت عیلام می‌باشد بودم و در عالم رویا دیدم که نزد نهر اولای می‌باشم. | ۲ 2 |
And I saw in the vision; now it was so, that when I saw, I was in Shushan the palace, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in the vision, and I was by the river Ulai.
| پس چشمان خود رابرافراشته، دیدم که ناگاه قوچی نزد نهر ایستاده بود که دو شاخ داشت و شاخهایش بلند بود ویکی از دیگری بلندتر و بلندترین آنها آخربرآمد. | ۳ 3 |
Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.
| و قوچ را دیدم که به سمت مغرب وشمال و جنوب شاخ می‌زد و هیچ وحشی با اومقاومت نتوانست کرد و کسی نبود که از دستش رهایی دهد و برحسب رای خود عمل نموده، بزرگ می‌شد. | ۴ 4 |
I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; and no beasts could stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and magnified himself.
| و حینی که متفکر می‌بودم اینک بز نری ازطرف مغرب بر روی تمامی زمین می‌آمد و زمین را لمس نمی کرد و در میان چشمان بز نر شاخی معتبر بود. | ۵ 5 |
And as I was considering, behold, a he-goat came from the west over the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.
| و به سوی آن قوچ صاحب دو شاخ که آن را نزد نهر ایستاده دیدم آمد و بشدت قوت خویش نزد او دوید. | ۶ 6 |
And he came to the ram that had the two horns, which I saw standing before the river, and ran upon him in the fury of his power.
| و او را دیدم که چون نزدقوچ رسید با او بشدت غضبناک شده، قوچ را زد وهر دو شاخ او را شکست و قوچ را یارای مقاومت با وی نبود پس وی را به زمین انداخته، پایمال کردو کسی نبود که قوچ را از دستش رهایی دهد. | ۷ 7 |
And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with anger against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns; and there was no power in the ram to stand before him; but he cast him down to the ground, and trampled upon him; and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.
| وبز نر بی‌نهایت بزرگ شد و چون قوی گشت آن شاخ بزرگ شکسته شد و در جایش چهار شاخ معتبر بسوی بادهای اربعه آسمان برآمد. | ۸ 8 |
And the he-goat magnified himself exceedingly: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and instead of it there came up four notable [horns] toward the four winds of heaven.
| و ازیکی از آنها یک شاخ کوچک برآمد و به سمت جنوب و مشرق و فخر زمینها بسیار بزرگ شد. | ۹ 9 |
And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the glorious [land].
| و به ضد لشکر آسمانها قوی شده، بعضی ازلشکر و ستارگان را به زمین انداخته، پایمال نمود. | ۱۰ 10 |
And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and some of the host and of the stars it cast down to the ground, and trampled upon them.
| و به ضد سردار لشکر بزرگ شد و قربانی دایمی از او گرفته شد و مکان مقدس او منهدم گردید. | ۱۱ 11 |
Yea, it magnified itself, even to the prince of the host; and it took away from him the continual [burnt-offering], and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
| و لشکری به ضد قربانی دایمی، به‌سبب عصیان (قوم به وی ) داده شد و آن (لشکر)راستی را به زمین انداختند و او (موافق رای خود) عمل نموده، کامیاب گردید. | ۱۲ 12 |
And the host was given over [to it] together with the continual [burnt-offering] through transgression; and it cast down truth to the ground, and it did [its pleasure] and prospered.
| و مقدسی را شنیدم که سخن می‌گفت و مقدس دیگری از آن یک که سخن می‌گفت، پرسید که رویا درباره قربانی دایمی و معصیت مهلک که قدس و لشکررا به پایمال شدن تسلیم می‌کند تا بکی خواهدبود. | ۱۳ 13 |
Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said unto that certain one who spake, How long shall be the vision [concerning] the continual [burnt-offering], and the transgression that maketh desolate, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
| و او به من گفت: «تا دو هزار و سیصد شام وصبح، آنگاه مقدس تطهیر خواهد شد.» | ۱۴ 14 |
And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred evenings [and] mornings; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
| و چون من دانیال رویا را دیدم و معنی آن راطلبیدم، ناگاه شبیه مردی نزد من بایستاد. | ۱۵ 15 |
And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, that I sought to understand it; and, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.
| وآواز آدمی را از میان (نهر) اولای شنیدم که نداکرده، می‌گفت: «ای جبرائیل این مرد را از معنی‌این‌رویا مطلع ساز.» | ۱۶ 16 |
And I heard a man’s voice between [the banks of] the Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.
| پس او نزد جایی که ایستاده بودم آمد و چون آمد من ترسان شده، به روی خود درافتادم و او مرا گفت: «ای پسر انسان بدانکه این‌رویا برای زمان آخر می‌باشد.» | ۱۷ 17 |
So he came near where I stood; and when he came, I was affrighted, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man; for the vision belongeth to the time of the end.
| و حینی که او با من سخن می‌گفت، من برروی خود بر زمین در خواب سنگین می‌بودم و اومرا لمس نموده، در جایی که بودم برپا داشت. | ۱۸ 18 |
Now as he was speaking with me, I fell into a deep sleep with my face toward the ground; but he touched me, and set me upright.
| و گفت: «اینک من تو را از آنچه در آخر غضب واقع خواهد شد اطلاع می‌دهم زیرا که انتها درزمان معین واقع خواهد شد. | ۱۹ 19 |
And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the latter time of the indignation; for it belongeth to the appointed time of the end.
| اما آن قوچ صاحب دو شاخ که آن را دیدی پادشاهان مادیان و فارسیان می‌باشد. | ۲۰ 20 |
The ram which thou sawest, that had the two horns, they are the kings of Media and Persia.
| و آن بز نر ستبر پادشاه یونان می‌باشد و آن شاخ بزرگی که در میان دوچشمش بود پادشاه اول است. | ۲۱ 21 |
And the rough he-goat is the king of Greece: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.
| و اما آن شکسته شدن و چهار در جایش برآمدن، چهارسلطنت از قوم او اما نه از قوت او برپا خواهندشد. | ۲۲ 22 |
And as for that which was broken, in the place whereof four stood up, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not with his power.
| و در آخر سلطنت ایشان چون گناه عاصیان به اتمام رسیده باشد، آنگاه پادشاهی سخت روی و در مکرها ماهر، خواهد برخاست. | ۲۳ 23 |
And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
| و قوت او عظیم خواهد شد، لیکن نه از توانایی خودش. و خرابیهای عجیب خواهد نمود وکامیاب شده، (موافق رای خود) عمل خواهدنمود و عظما و قوم مقدسان را هلاک خواهدنمود. | ۲۴ 24 |
And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power; and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper and do [his pleasure]; and he shall destroy the mighty ones and the holy people.
| و از مهارت او مکر در دستش پیش خواهد رفت و در دل خود مغرور شده، بسیاری را بغته هلاک خواهد ساخت و با امیر امیران مقاومت خواهد نمود، اما بدون دست، شکسته خواهد شد. | ۲۵ 25 |
And through his policy he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and in [their] security shall he destroy many: he shall also stand up against the prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
| پس رویایی که درباره شام و صبح گفته شد یقین است اما تو رویا را بر هم نه زیرا که بعد از ایام بسیار واقع خواهد شد.» | ۲۶ 26 |
And the vision of the evenings and mornings which hath been told is true: but shut thou up the vision; for it belongeth to many days [to come].
| آنگاه من دانیال تا اندک زمانی ضعیف وبیمار شدم. پس برخاسته، به‌کارهای پادشاه مشغول گردیدم، اما درباره رویا متحیر ماندم واحدی معنی آن را نفهمید. | ۲۷ 27 |
And I, Daniel, fainted, and was sick certain days; then I rose up, and did the king’s business: and I wondered at the vision, but none understood it.
