| و واقع شد که چون حزقیای پادشاه این را شنید، لباس خود را چاک زده، وپلاس پوشیده، به خانه خداوند داخل شد. | ۱ 1 |
And it came to pass, when king Hezekiah heard it, that he rent his clothes, and covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the LORD.
| والیاقیم، ناظر خانه و شبنه کاتب و مشایخ کهنه راملبس به پلاس نزد اشعیا ابن آموص نبی فرستاده، | ۲ 2 |
And he sent Eliakim, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, unto Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.
| به وی گفتند: «حزقیا چنین می‌گوید که «امروزروز تنگی و تادیب و اهانت است زیرا که پسران به فم رحم رسیده‌اند و قوت زاییدن نیست. | ۳ 3 |
And they said unto him: 'Thus saith Hezekiah: This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of contumely; for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.
| شاید یهوه خدایت تمامی سخنان ربشاقی را که آقایش، پادشاه آشور، او را برای اهانت نمودن خدای حی فرستاده است، بشنود و سخنانی را که یهوه، خدایت شنیده است، توبیخ نماید. پس برای بقیه‌ای که یافت می‌شوند، تضرع نما.» | ۴ 4 |
It may be the LORD thy God will hear all the words of Rab-shakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to taunt the living God, and will rebuke the words which the LORD thy God hath heard; wherefore make prayer for the remnant that is left.'
| وبندگان حزقیای پادشاه نزد اشعیا آمدند. | ۵ 5 |
So the servants of king Hezekiah came to Isaiah.
| و اشعیابه ایشان گفت: «به آقای خود چنین گویید که خداوند چنین می‌فرماید: از سخنانی که شنیدی که بندگان پادشاه آشور به آنها به من کفرگفته‌اند، مترس. | ۶ 6 |
And Isaiah said unto them: 'Thus shall ye say to your master: Thus saith the LORD: Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed Me.
| همانا روحی بر او می‌فرستم که خبری شنیده، به ولایت خود خواهد برگشت و اورا در ولایت خودش به شمشیر هلاک خواهم ساخت.» | ۷ 7 |
Behold, I will put a spirit in him, and he shall hear a rumour, and shall return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.'
| پس ربشاقی مراجعت کرده، پادشاه آشور را یافت که با لبنه جنگ می‌کرد، زیرا شنیده بود که ازلاکیش کوچ کرده است. | ۸ 8 |
So Rab-shakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah; for he had heard that he was departed from Lachish.
| و درباره ترهاقه، پادشاه حبش، خبری شنیده بود که به جهت مقاتله با توبیرون آمده است (پس چون شنید) بار دیگرایلچیان نزد حزقیا فرستاده، گفت: | ۹ 9 |
And when he heard say of Tirhakah king of Ethiopia: 'Behold, he is come out to fight against thee'; he sent messengers again unto Hezekiah, saying:
| «به حزقیا، پادشاه یهودا چنین گویید: «خدای تو که به اوتوکل می‌نمایی، تو را فریب ندهد و نگوید که اورشلیم به‌دست پادشاه آشور تسلیم نخواهدشد. | ۱۰ 10 |
'Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying: Let not thy God in whom thou trustest beguile thee, saying: Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.
| اینک تو شنیده‌ای که پادشاهان آشور باهمه ولایتها چه کرده و چگونه آنها را بالکل هلاک ساخته‌اند، و آیا تو رهایی خواهی یافت؟ | ۱۱ 11 |
Behold, thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands, by destroying them utterly; and shalt thou be delivered?
| آیا خدایان امتهایی که پدران من، ایشان راهلاک ساختند، مثل جوزان و حاران و رصف وبنی عدن که در تلسار می‌باشند، ایشان را نجات دادند؟ | ۱۲ 12 |
Have the gods of the nations delivered them, which my fathers have destroyed, Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden that were in Telassar?
| پادشاه حمات کجاست؟ و پادشاه ارفاد و پادشاه شهر سفروایم و هینع و عوا؟» | ۱۳ 13 |
Where is the king of Hamath, and the king of Arpad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, of Hena, and Ivvah?'
| و حزقیا مکتوب را از دست ایلچیان گرفته، آن را خواند و حزقیا به خانه خداوند درآمده، آن را به حضور خداوند پهن کرد. | ۱۴ 14 |
And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it; and Hezekiah went up unto the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD.
| و حزقیا نزدخداوند دعا نموده، گفت: «ای یهوه، خدای اسرائیل که بر کروبیان جلوس می‌نمایی، تویی که به تنهایی بر تمامی ممالک جهان خدا هستی و توآسمان و زمین را آفریده‌ای. | ۱۵ 15 |
And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said: 'O LORD, the God of Israel, that sittest upon the cherubim, Thou art the God, even Thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; Thou hast made heaven and earth.
| ای خداوند گوش خود را فرا‌گرفته، بشنو. ای خداوند چشمان خودرا گشوده، ببین و سخنان سنحاریب را که به جهت اهانت نمودن خدای حی فرستاده است، استماع نما. | ۱۶ 16 |
Incline Thine ear, O LORD, and hear; open Thine eyes, O LORD, and see; and hear the words of Sennacherib, wherewith he hath sent him to taunt the living God.
| ای خداوند، راست است که پادشاهان آشور امت‌ها و زمین ایشان را خراب کرده است، | ۱۷ 17 |
Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste the nations and their lands,
| و خدایان ایشان را به آتش انداخته، زیرا که خدا نبودند، بلکه ساخته دست انسان از چوب وسنگ. پس به این سبب آنها را تباه ساختند. | ۱۸ 18 |
and have cast their gods into the fire; for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone; therefore they have destroyed them.
| پس حال یهوه، خدای ما، ما را از دست اورهایی ده تا جمیع ممالک جهان بدانند که تو تنهاای یهوه، خدا هستی.» | ۱۹ 19 |
Now therefore, O LORD our God, save Thou us, I beseech Thee, out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that Thou art the LORD God, even Thou only.'
| پس اشعیا ابن آموص نزد حزقیا فرستاده، گفت: «یهوه، خدای اسرائیل، چنین می‌گوید: آنچه را که درباره سنحاریب، پادشاه آشور، نزدمن دعا نمودی اجابت کردم. | ۲۰ 20 |
Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying: 'Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel: Whereas thou hast prayed to Me against Sennacherib king of Assyria, I have heard thee.
| کلامی که خداوند درباره‌اش گفته، این است: آن باکره، دختر صهیون، تو را حقیر شمرده، استهزا نموده است و دختر اورشلیم سر خود را به تو جنبانیده است. | ۲۱ 21 |
This is the word that the LORD hath spoken concerning him: The virgin daughter of Zion hath despised thee and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.
| کیست که او را اهانت کرده، کفر گفته‌ای و کیست که بر وی آواز بلند کرده، چشمان خودرا به علیین افراشته‌ای؟ مگر قدوس اسرائیل نیست؟ | ۲۲ 22 |
Whom hast thou taunted and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice? Yea, thou hast lifted up thine eyes on high, even against the Holy One of Israel!
| به واسطه رسولانت، خداوند را اهانت کرده، گفته‌ای: به کثرت ارابه های خود بر بلندی کوهها و به اطراف لبنان برآمده‌ام و بلندترین سروهای آزادش و بهترین صنوبرهایش را قطع نموده، به بلندی اقصایش و به درختستان بوستانش داخل شده‌ام. | ۲۳ 23 |
By the messengers thou hast taunted the Lord, and hast said: With the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of the mountains, to the innermost parts of Lebanon; and I have cut down the tall cedars thereof, and the choice cypresses thereof; and I have entered into his farthest lodge, the forest of his fruitful field.
| و من، حفره کنده، آب غریب نوشیدم و به کف پای خود تمامی نهرهای مصر را خشک خواهم کرد. | ۲۴ 24 |
I have digged and drunk strange waters, and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of Egypt.
| آیا نشنیده‌ای که من این را از زمان سلف کرده‌ام و از ایام قدیم صورت داده‌ام و الان، آن را به وقوع آورده‌ام تا توبه ظهور آمده و شهرهایی حصاردار را خراب نموده، به توده های ویران مبدل سازی؟ | ۲۵ 25 |
Hast thou not heard? long ago I made it, in ancient times I fashioned it; now have I brought it to pass, yea, it is done; that fortified cities should be laid waste into ruinous heaps.
| از این جهت، ساکنان آنها کم قوت بوده، ترسان و خجل شدند، مثل علف صحرا و گیاه سبز و علف پشت بام و مثل غله‌ای که پیش از رسیدنش پژمرده شود، گردیدند. | ۲۶ 26 |
Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded; they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as corn blasted before it is grown up.
| «اما من نشستن تو را و خروج و دخولت وخشمی را که بر من داری، می‌دانم. | ۲۷ 27 |
But I know thy sitting down, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy raging against Me.
| چونکه خشمی که بر من داری و غرور تو، به گوش من برآمده است. بنابراین مهار خود را به بینی تو ولگام خود را به لبهایت گذاشته، تو را به راهی که آمده‌ای، برخواهم گردانید. | ۲۸ 28 |
Because of thy raging against Me, and for that thy tumult is come up into Mine ears, therefore will I put My hook in thy nose, and My bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.
| «و علامت، برای تو این خواهد بود که امسال غله خودرو خواهید خورد و سال دوم آنچه از آن بروید و در سال سوم بکارید و بدرویدو تاکستانها غرس نموده، میوه آنها را بخورید. | ۲۹ 29 |
And this shall be the sign unto thee: ye shall eat this year that which groweth of itself, and in the second year that which springeth of the same; and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit thereof.
| و بقیه‌ای که از خاندان یهودا رستگار شوند، باردیگر به پایین ریشه خواهند زد و به بالا میوه خواهند‌آورد. | ۳۰ 30 |
And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.
| زیرا که بقیه‌ای از اورشلیم ورستگاران از کوه صهیون بیرون خواهند آمد. غیرت یهوه این را بجا خواهد آورد. | ۳۱ 31 |
For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and out of mount Zion they that shall escape; the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall perform this.
| «بنابراین خداوند درباره پادشاه آشورچنین می‌گوید که «به این شهر داخل نخواهد شدو به اینجا تیر نخواهد انداخت و در مقابلش با سپرنخواهد آمد و منجنیق را در‌پیش آن بر نخواهدافراشت. | ۳۲ 32 |
Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria: He shall not come unto this city, nor shoot an arrow there, neither shall he come before it with shield, nor cast a mound against it.
| به راهی که آمده است به همان برخواهد گشت و به این شهر داخل نخواهد شد. خداوند این را می‌گوید. | ۳۳ 33 |
By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and he shall not come unto this city, saith the LORD.
| زیرا که این شهر راحمایت کرده، به‌خاطر خود و به‌خاطر بنده خویش داود، آن را نجات خواهم داد.» | ۳۴ 34 |
For I will defend this city to save it, for Mine own sake, and for My servant David's sake.'
| پس فرشته خداوند در آن شب بیرون آمده، صد و هشتاد و پنج هزار نفر از اردوی آشور را زدو بامدادان چون برخاستند، اینک جمیع آنهالاشه های مرده بودند. | ۳۵ 35 |
And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred fourscore and five thousand; and when men arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.
| و سنحاریب، پادشاه آشور کوچ کرده، روانه گردید و برگشته، درنینوی ساکن شد. | ۳۶ 36 |
So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh.
| و واقع شد که چون او درخانه خدای خویش، نسروک عبادت می‌کرد، پسرانش ادرملک و شرآصر او را به شمشیر زدند، و ایشان به زمین آرارات فرار کردند و پسرش آسرحدون به‌جایش سلطنت نمود. | ۳۷ 37 |
And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sarezer his sons smote him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Ararat. And Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead.
