| و یوشیا عید فصحی در اورشلیم برای خداوند نگاه داشت، و فصح را درچهاردهم ماه اول در اورشلیم ذبح نمودند. | ۱ 1 |
And Josiah held a passover to Jehovah in Jerusalem; and they slaughtered the passover on the fourteenth of the first month.
| وکاهنان را بر وظایف ایشان قرار داده، ایشان رابرای خدمت خانه خداوند قوی‌دل ساخت. | ۲ 2 |
And he set the priests in their charges, and encouraged them to the service of the house of Jehovah.
| وبه لاویانی که تمامی اسرائیل را تعلیم می‌دادند وبرای خداوند تقدیس شده بودند، گفت: «تابوت مقدس را در خانه‌ای که سلیمان بن داود، پادشاه اسرائیل بنا کرده است بگذارید. و دیگر بر دوش شما بار نباشد. الان به خدمت یهوه خدای خود وبه قوم او اسرائیل بپردازید. | ۳ 3 |
And he said to the Levites, that taught all Israel, [and] who were holy to Jehovah, Put the holy ark in the house that Solomon the son of David, king of Israel, built; ye have not to carry it upon your shoulders. Serve now Jehovah your God, and his people Israel;
| و خویشتن رابرحسب خاندانهای آبای خود و فرقه های خویش بر وفق نوشته داود، پادشاه اسرائیل ونوشته پسرش سلیمان مستعد سازید. | ۴ 4 |
and prepare yourselves by your fathers' houses, in your divisions, according to the writing of David king of Israel, and according to the writing of Solomon his son;
| وبرحسب فرقه های خاندانهای آبای برادران خویش یعنی بنی قوم و موافق فرقه های خاندانهای آبای لاویان در قدس بایستید. | ۵ 5 |
and stand in the sanctuary for the classes of the fathers' houses, for your brethren, the children of the people, and [according] to the divisions of the fathers' houses of the Levites;
| وفصح را ذبح نمایید و خویشتن را تقدیس نموده، برای برادران خود تدارک بینید تا برحسب کلامی که خداوند به واسطه موسی گفته است عمل نمایند.» | ۶ 6 |
and slaughter the passover, and hallow yourselves, and prepare it for your brethren, that they may do according to the word of Jehovah through Moses.
| پس یوشیا به بنی قوم یعنی به همه آنانی که حاضر بودند، از گله بره‌ها و بزغاله‌ها به قدر سی هزار راس، همه آنها را به جهت قربانی های فصح داد و از گاوان سه هزار راس که همه اینها از اموال خاص پادشاه بود. | ۷ 7 |
And Josiah gave for the children of the people a heave-offering of the flocks, lambs and goats, all for the passover-offerings, for all that were present — to the number of thirty thousand, and three thousand bullocks: these were of the king's substance.
| و سروران او به قوم و به کاهنان و به لاویان هدایای تبرعی دادند. و حلقیاو زکریا و یحیئیل که روسای خانه خدا بودند، دوهزار و ششصد بره و سیصد گاو به جهت قربانی های فصح دادند. | ۸ 8 |
And his princes gave a voluntary heave-offering for the people, for the priests, and for the Levites: Hilkijah and Zechariah and Jehiel, rulers of the house of God, gave to the priests for the passover-offerings two thousand six hundred [small cattle] and three hundred oxen;
| و کوننیا و شمعیا ونتنیئیل برادرانش و حشبا و یعیئیل و یوزاباد که روسای لاویان بودند، پنج هزار بره و پانصد گاو به لاویان به جهت قربانی های فصح دادند. | ۹ 9 |
and Conaniah, and Shemaiah and Nethaneel, his brethren, and Hashabiah and Jeiel and Jozabad, chief of the Levites, gave as heave-offering to the Levites for the passover-offerings five thousand [small cattle] and five hundred oxen.
| پس آن خدمت مهیا شد و کاهنان درجایهای خود و لاویان در فرقه های خویش، برحسب فرمان پادشاه ایستادند. | ۱۰ 10 |
And the service was prepared, and the priests stood in their place, and the Levites in their divisions, according to the king's commandment.
| و فصح را ذبح کردند و کاهنان خون را از دست ایشان (گرفته )پاشیدند و لاویان پوست آنها را کندند. | ۱۱ 11 |
And they slaughtered the passover, and the priests sprinkled [the blood] from their hand, and the Levites flayed them.
| و قربانی های سوختنی را برداشتند تا آنها رابرحسب فرقه های خاندانهای آبا به پسران قوم بدهند تا ایشان آنها را برحسب آنچه در کتاب موسی نوشته بود، برای خداوند بگذرانند و باگاوان نیز چنین عمل نمودند. | ۱۲ 12 |
And they set apart the burnt-offerings to give them to the classes of the fathers' houses of the children of the people, to present them to Jehovah, as it is written in the book of Moses. And so [did they] with the oxen.
| و فصح را موافق رسم به آتش پختند و هدایای مقدس را در دیگهاو پاتیلها و تابه‌ها پخته، آنها را به تمامی پسران قوم به زودی دادند. | ۱۳ 13 |
And they roasted the passover with fire according to the ordinance; and the consecrated things they boiled in pots and in cauldrons and in pans, and divided them speedily among all the children of the people.
| و بعد از آن برای خودشان و برای کاهنان مهیا ساختند زیرا که پسران هارون کهنه در گذرانیدن قربانی های سوختنی و پیه تاشام مشغول بودند. لهذا لاویان برای خودشان وبرای پسران هارون کهنه مهیا ساختند. | ۱۴ 14 |
And afterwards they made ready for themselves and for the priests; because the priests, the sons of Aaron, [were engaged] in offering up the burnt-offerings and the fat until night; therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the priests, the sons of Aaron.
| ومغنیان از بنی آساف برحسب فرمان داود و آساف و هیمان و یدوتون که رایی پادشاه بود، به‌جای خود ایستادند و دربانان نزد هر دروازه و برای ایشان لازم نبود که از خدمت خود دور شوند زیراکه برادران ایشان لاویان به جهت ایشان مهیاساختند. | ۱۵ 15 |
And the singers, the sons of Asaph, were in their place, according to the commandment of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king's seer; and the doorkeepers were at every gate; they had not to depart from their service, for their brethren the Levites prepared for them.
| پس تمامی خدمت خداوند در همان روز آماده شد تا فصح را نگاه دارند و قربانی های سوختنی را بر مذبح خداوند برحسب فرمان یوشیا پادشاه بگذرانند. | ۱۶ 16 |
And all the service of Jehovah was prepared the same day, to hold the passover, and to offer burnt-offerings on the altar of Jehovah according to the commandment of king Josiah.
| پس بنی‌اسرائیل که حاضر بودند، در همان وقت، فصح و عید فطیر راهفت روز نگاه داشتند. | ۱۷ 17 |
And the children of Israel that were present held the passover at that time, and the feast of unleavened bread seven days.
| و هیچ عید فصح مثل این از ایام سموئیل نبی در اسرائیل نگاه داشته نشده بود، و هیچ کدام از پادشاهان اسرائیل مثل این عید فصحی که یوشیا و کاهنان و لاویان وتمامی حاضران یهودا و اسرائیل و سکنه اورشلیم نگاه داشتند، نگاه نداشته بود. | ۱۸ 18 |
And there was no passover like to that holden in Israel from the days of Samuel the prophet; neither did all the kings of Israel hold such a passover as Josiah held, and the priests, and the Levites, and all Judah and Israel that were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
| واین فصح در سال هجدهم سلطنت یوشیا واقع شد. | ۱۹ 19 |
In the eighteenth year of the reign of Josiah was this passover holden.
| بعد از همه این امور چون یوشیا هیکل راآماده کرده بود، نکو پادشاه مصر برآمد تا باکرکمیش نزد نهر فرات جنگ کند. و یوشیا به مقابله او بیرون رفت. | ۲۰ 20 |
After all this, when Josiah had arranged the house, Necho king of Egypt came up to fight against Karkemish at the Euphrates; and Josiah went out against him.
| و (نکو) قاصدان نزد اوفرستاده، گفت: «ای پادشاه یهودا مرا با تو چه‌کار است؟ من امروز به ضد تو نیامده‌ام بلکه به ضد خاندانی که با آن محاربه می‌نمایم. و خدامرا امر فرموده است که بشتابم. پس از آن خدایی که با من است، دست بردار مبادا تو را هلاک سازد.» | ۲۱ 21 |
And he sent messengers to him, saying, What have I to do with thee, thou king of Judah? I come not against thee this day, but against the house with which I have war; and God has told me to make haste: keep aloof from God who is with me, that he destroy thee not.
| لیکن یوشیا روی خود را از او برنگردانیدبلکه خویشتن را متنکر ساخت تا با وی جنگ کندو به کلام نکو که از جانب خدا بود گوش نگرفته، به قصد مقاتله به میدان مجدو درآمد. | ۲۲ 22 |
But Josiah would not turn his face from him, but disguised himself, that he might fight against him; and he hearkened not to the words of Necho from the mouth of God; and he came to fight in the valley of Megiddo.
| وتیراندازان بر یوشیا پادشاه تیر انداختند و پادشاه به خادمان خود گفت: «مرا بیرون برید زیرا که سخت مجروح شده‌ام.» | ۲۳ 23 |
And the archers shot at king Josiah; and the king said to his servants, Have me away, for I am sore wounded.
| پس خادمانش او را ازارابه‌اش گرفتند و بر ارابه دومین که داشت سوارکرده، به اورشلیم آوردند. پس وفات یافته، درمقبره پدران خود دفن شد، و تمامی یهودا واورشلیم برای یوشیا ماتم گرفتند. | ۲۴ 24 |
And his servants took him out from the chariot, and put him in the second chariot that he had, and brought him to Jerusalem. And he died, and was buried in the sepulchres of his fathers. And all Judah and Jerusalem mourned for Josiah.
| و ارمیا به جهت یوشیا مرثیه خواند و تمامی مغنیان ومغنیات یوشیا را در مراثی خویش تا امروز ذکرمی کنند و آن را فریضه‌ای در اسرائیل قرار دادند، چنانکه در سفر مراثی مکتوب است. | ۲۵ 25 |
And Jeremiah lamented for Josiah; and all the singing men and singing women spoke of Josiah in their lamentations to this day; and they made them an ordinance for Israel. And behold, they are written in the lamentations.
| و بقیه وقایع یوشیا و اعمال حسنه‌ای که مطابق نوشته تورات خداوند به عمل آورد، | ۲۶ 26 |
And the rest of the acts of Josiah, and his good deeds, according to that which is written in the law of Jehovah,
| و امور اول وآخر او اینک در تواریخ پادشاهان اسرائیل ویهودا مکتوب است. | ۲۷ 27 |
and his acts, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.
