اول سموئیل 23
| و به داود خبر داده، گفتند: «اینک فلسطینیان با قعیله جنگ می‌کنند وخرمنها را غارت می‌نماید.» | ۱ 1 |
Then they told David, saying, Behold, the Philistines fight against Keilah, and they rob the threshing floors.
| و داود از خداوندسوال کرده، گفت: «آیا بروم و این فلسطینیان راشکست دهم.» خداوند به داود گفت: «برو وفلسطینیان را شکست داده، قعیله را خلاص کن.» | ۲ 2 |
Therefore David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go and strike these Philistines? And the LORD said unto David, Go, and strike the Philistines, and save Keilah.
| و مردمان داود وی را گفتند: «اینک اینجا دریهودا می‌ترسیم پس چند مرتبه زیاده اگر به مقابله لشکرهای فلسطینیان به قعیله برویم.» | ۳ 3 |
And David's men said unto him, Behold, we be afraid here in Judah: how much more then if we come to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?
| و داود بار دیگر از خداوند سوال نمود وخداوند او را جواب داده، گفت: «برخیز به قعیله برو زیرا که من فلسطینیان را به‌دست تو خواهم داد.» | ۴ 4 |
Then David enquired of the LORD yet again. And the LORD answered him and said, Arise, go down to Keilah; for I will deliver the Philistines into your hand.
| و داود با مردانش به قعیله رفتند و بافلسطینیان جنگ کرده، مواشی ایشان را بردند، وایشان را به کشتار عظیمی کشتند. پس داودساکنان قعیله را نجات داد. | ۵ 5 |
So David and his men went to Keilah, and fought with the Philistines, and brought away their cattle, and stroke them with a great slaughter. So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah.
| و هنگامی که ابیاتار بن اخیملک نزد داود به قعیله فرار کرد، ایفود را در دست خود آورد. | ۶ 6 |
And it came to pass, when Abiathar the son of Ahimelech fled to David to Keilah, that he came down with an ephod in his hand.
| وبه شاول خبر دادند که داود به قعیله آمده است وشاول گفت: «خدا او را به‌دست من سپرده است، زیرا به شهری که دروازه‌ها و پشت بندها داردداخل شده، محبوس گشته است.» | ۷ 7 |
And it was told Saul that David was come to Keilah. And Saul said, God has delivered him into mine hand; for he is shut in, by entering into a town that has gates and bars.
| و شاول جمیع قوم را برای جنگ طلبید تا به قعیله فرودشده، داود و مردانش را محاصره نماید. | ۸ 8 |
And Saul called all the people together to war, to go down to Keilah, to besiege David and his men.
| و چون داود دانست که شاول شرارت رابرای او اندیشیده است، به ابیاتار کاهن گفت: «ایفود را نزدیک بیاور، | ۹ 9 |
And David knew that Saul secretly practised mischief against him; and he said to Abiathar the priest, Bring here the ephod.
| و داود گفت: «ای یهوه، خدای اسرائیل، بنده ات شنیده است که شاول عزیمت دارد که به قعیله بیاید تا به‌خاطر من شهررا خراب کند. | ۱۰ 10 |
Then said David, O LORD God of Israel, your servant has certainly heard that Saul seeks to come to Keilah, to destroy the city for my sake.
| آیا اهل قعیله مرا به‌دست اوتسلیم خواهند نمود؟ و آیا شاول چنانکه بنده ات شنیده است، خواهد آمد؟ ای یهوه، خدای اسرائیل، مسالت آنکه بنده خود را خبر دهی.» خداوند گفت که او خواهد آمد. | ۱۱ 11 |
Will the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? will Saul come down, as your servant has heard? O LORD God of Israel, I plead to you, tell your servant. And the LORD said, He will come down.
| داود گفت: «آیا اهل قعیله مرا و کسان مرا به‌دست شاول تسلیم خواهند نمود؟» خداوند گفت که «تسلیم خواهند نمود.» | ۱۲ 12 |
Then said David, Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul? And the LORD said, They will deliver you up.
| پس داود و مردانش که تخمین ششصد نفربودند، برخاسته، از قعیله بیرون رفتند و هر جایی که توانستند بروند، رفتند. و چون به شاول خبردادند که داود از قعیله فرار کرده است، از بیرون رفتن بازایستاد. | ۱۳ 13 |
Then David and his men, which were about six hundred, arose and departed out of Keilah, and went anywhere they could go. And it was told Saul that David was escaped from Keilah; and he ceased to go forth.
| و داود در بیابان در ملاذهانشست و در کوهی در بیابان زیف توقف نمود. وشاول همه روزه او را می‌طلبید لیکن خداوند او رابه‌دستش تسلیم ننمود. | ۱۴ 14 |
And David abode in the wilderness in strong holds, and remained in a mountain in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him every day, but God delivered him not into his hand.
| و داود دید که شاول به قصد جان او بیرون آمده است و داود در بیابان زیف در جنگل ساکن بود. | ۱۵ 15 |
And David saw that Saul was come out to seek his life: and David was in the wilderness of Ziph in a wood.
| و یوناتان، پسر شاول، به جنگل آمده، دست او را به خدا تقویت نمود. | ۱۶ 16 |
And Jonathan Saul's son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God.
| و او را گفت: «مترس زیرا که دست پدر من، شاول تو را نخواهدجست، و تو بر اسرائیل پادشاه خواهی شد، و من دومین تو خواهم بود و پدرم شاول نیز این رامی داند.» | ۱۷ 17 |
And he said unto him, Fear not: for the hand of Saul my father shall not find you; and you shall be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto you; and that also Saul my father knows.
| و هر دوی ایشان به حضور خداوندعهد بستند و داود به جنگل برگشت و یوناتان به خانه خود رفت. | ۱۸ 18 |
And they two made a covenant before the LORD: and David abode in the wood, and Jonathan went to his house.
| و زیفیان نزد شاول به جبعه آمده، گفتند: «آیا داود در ملاذهای جنگل در کوه حخیله که به طرف جنوب بیابان است، خود را نزد ما پنهان نکرده است؟ | ۱۹ 19 |
Then came up the Ziphites to Saul to Gibeah, saying, Does not David hide himself with us in strong holds in the wood, in the hill of Hachilah, which is on the south of Jeshimon?
| پس‌ای پادشاه چنانکه دلت کمال آرزو برای آمدن دارد بیا و تکلیف ما این است که او را به‌دست پادشاه تسلیم نماییم.» | ۲۰ 20 |
Now therefore, O king, come down according to all the desire of your soul to come down; and our part shall be to deliver him into the king's hand.
| شاول گفت: «شما از جانب خداوند مبارک باشید چونکه بر من دلسوزی نمودید. | ۲۱ 21 |
And Saul said, Blessed be all of you of the LORD; for all of you have compassion on me.
| پس بروید و بیشتر تحقیق نموده، جایی را که آمد ورفت می‌کند ببینید و بفهمید، و دیگر اینکه کیست که او را در آنجا دیده است، زیرا به من گفته شد که بسیار با مکر رفتار می‌کند. | ۲۲ 22 |
Go, I pray you, prepare yet, and know and see his place where his haunt is, and who has seen him there: for it is told me that he deals very subtlely.
| پس ببینید و جمیع مکانهای مخفی را که خود را در آنها پنهان می‌کندبدانید و حقیقت حال را به من باز رسانید تا با شمابیایم و اگر در این زمین باشد او را از جمیع هزاره های یهودا پیدا خواهم کرد.» | ۲۳ 23 |
See therefore, and take knowledge of all the lurking places where he hides himself, and come all of you again to me with the certainty, and I will go with you: and it shall come to pass, if he be in the land, that I will search him out throughout all the thousands of Judah.
| پس برخاسته، پیش روی شاول به زیف رفتند. | ۲۴ 24 |
And they arose, and went to Ziph before Saul: but David and his men were in the wilderness of Maon, in the plain on the south of Jeshimon.
| و شاول و مردان اوبه تفحص او رفتند و چون داود را خبر دادند، اونزد صخره فرود آمده، در بیابان معون ساکن شد وشاول چون این را شنید، داود را در بیابان معون تعاقب نمود. | ۲۵ 25 |
Saul also and his men went to seek him. And they told David; wherefore he came down into a rock, and abode in the wilderness of Maon. And when Saul heard that, he pursued after David in the wilderness of Maon.
| و شاول به یک طرف کوه می‌رفت و داود و کسانش به طرف دیگر کوه، و داودمی شتافت که از حضور شاول بگریزد و شاول ومردانش داود و کسانش را احاطه نمودند تا ایشان را بگیرند. | ۲۶ 26 |
And Saul went on this side of the mountain, and David and his men on that side of the mountain: and David made haste to get away for fear of Saul; for Saul and his men compassed David and his men round about to take them.
| اما قاصدی نزد شاول آمده، گفت: «بشتاب و بیا زیرا که فلسطینیان به زمین حمله آورده‌اند. | ۲۷ 27 |
But there came a messenger unto Saul, saying, Haste you, and come; for the Philistines have invaded the land.
| پس شاول از تعاقب نمودن داود برگشته، به مقابله فلسطینیان رفت، بنابراین آن مکان را صخره محلقوت نامیدند. | ۲۸ 28 |
Wherefore Saul returned from pursuing after David, and went against the Philistines: therefore they called that place Selahammahlekoth.
| و داود ازآنجا برآمده، در ملاذهای عین جدی ساکن شد. | ۲۹ 29 |
And David went up from thence, and dwelt in strong holds at Engedi.
