اول سموئیل 22

۱ 1 و داود از آنجا رفته، به مغاره عدلام فرارکرد و چون برادرانش و تمامی خاندان پدرش شنیدند، آنجا نزد او فرود آمدند.

And he went David from there and he escaped to [the] cave of Adullam and they heard brothers his and all [the] household of father his and they went down to him there towards.

۲ 2 و هرکه در تنگی بود و هر قرض دار و هر‌که تلخی جان داشت، نزد او جمع آمدند، و بر ایشان سردار شدو تخمین چهار صد نفر با او بودند.

And they gathered together to him every man of distress and every man whom [belonged] to him a creditor and every man bitter of soul and he became over them a commander and they were with him about four hundred man.

۳ 3 و داود از آنجا به مصفه موآب رفته، به پادشاه موآب گفت: «تمنا اینکه پدرم و مادرم نزد شمابیایند تا بدانم خدا برای من چه خواهد کرد.»

And he went David from there Mizpah of Moab and he said - to [the] king of Moab let him go out please father my and mother my with you until that I will know what? will he do for me God.

۴ 4 پس ایشان را نزد پادشاه موآب برد و تمامی روزهایی که داود در آن ملاذ بود، نزد او ساکن بودند.

And he led them with [the] presence of [the] king of Moab and they remained with him all [the] days of [the] being of David in the stronghold.

۵ 5 و جاد نبی به داود گفت که «در این ملاذدیگر توقف منما بلکه روانه شده، به زمین یهودا برو.» پس داود رفت و به جنگل حارث درآمد.

And he said Gad the prophet to David not you must remain in the stronghold go and you will go for yourself [the] land of Judah and he went David and he came [the] forest of Hereth.

۶ 6 و شاول شنید که داود و مردمانی که با وی بودند پیدا شده‌اند، و شاول در جبعه، زیر درخت بلوط در رامه نشسته بود، و نیزه‌اش در دستش، وجمیع خادمانش در اطراف او ایستاده بودند.

And he heard Saul that he was known David and [the] men who [were] with him and Saul [was] sitting at Gibeah under the tamarisk tree at the high place and spear his [was] in hand his and all servants his [were] standing with him.

۷ 7 وشاول به خادمانی که در اطرافش ایستاده بودند، گفت: «حال‌ای بنیامینیان بشنوید! آیا پسر یسا به جمیع شما کشتزارها و تاکستانها خواهد داد و آیاهمگی شما را سردار هزاره‌ها و سردار صده هاخواهد ساخت؟

And he said Saul to servants his who were standing with him listen please O Ben-jaminites also? to all of you will he give [the] son of Jesse fields and vineyards all of you will he appoint commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds.

۸ 8 که جمیع شما بر من فتنه انگیزشده، کسی مرا اطلاع ندهد که پسر من با پسر یساعهد بسته است و از شما کسی برای من غمگین نمی شود تا مرا خبر دهد که پسر من بنده مرابرانگیخته است تا در کمین بنشیند چنانکه امروزهست.»

For you have conspired all of you on me and there not [is one who] opens ear my when made son my with [the] son of Jesse and not [was] feeling pain any of you on me and opening ear my that he has raised up son my servant my on me to an ambusher as the day this.

۹ 9 و دوآغ ادومی که با خادمان شاول ایستاده بود در جواب گفت: «پسر یسا را دیدم که به نوب نزد اخیملک بن اخیتوب درآمد.

And he answered Doeg the Edomite and he [was] standing with [the] servants of Saul and he said I saw [the] son of Jesse coming Nob towards to Ahimelech [the] son of Ahitub.

۱۰ 10 و او ازبرای وی از خداوند سوال نمود و توشه‌ای به اوداد و شمشیر جلیات فلسطینی را نیز به او داد.»

And he enquired for him by Yahweh and food he gave to him and [the] sword of Goliath the Philistine he gave to him.

۱۱ 11 پس پادشاه فرستاده، اخیملک بن اخیتوب کاهن و جمیع کاهنان خاندان پدرش را که در نوب بودند طلبید، و تمامی ایشان نزد پادشاه آمدند.

And he sent the king to summon Ahimelech [the] son of Ahitub the priest and all [the] house of father his the priests who [were] at Nob and they came all of them to the king.

۱۲ 12 و شاول گفت: «ای پسر اخیتوب بشنو.» اوگفت: «لبیک‌ای آقایم!»

And he said Saul listen please O son of Ahitub and he said here [am] I O lord my.

۱۳ 13 شاول به او گفت: «تو وپسر یسا چرا بر من فتنه انگیختید به اینکه به وی نان و شمشیر دادی و برای وی از خدا سوال نمودی تا به ضد من برخاسته، در کمین بنشیندچنانکه امروز شده است.»

And he said (to him *Qk) Saul why? have you conspired on me you and [the] son of Jesse when giving you to him bread and a sword and [you] enquired for him by God to rise up against me to an ambusher as the day this.

۱۴ 14 اخیملک در جواب پادشاه گفت: «کیست ازجمیع بندگانت که مثل داود امین باشد و او دامادپادشاه است و در مشورت شریک تو و در خانه تومکرم است.

And he answered Ahimelech the king and he said and who? among all servants your [is] like David faithful and [the] son-in-law of the king and [one who] turns aside to bodyguard your and honored in household your.

۱۵ 15 آیا امروز به سوال نمودن از خدابرای او شروع کردم، حاشا از من. پادشاه این کار رابه بنده خود و به جمیع خاندان پدرم اسناد ندهدزیرا که بنده ات از این چیزها کم یا زیاد ندانسته بود.»

This day did I begin? (to enquire *Qk) for him by God far be it to me may not he put the king against servant his anything against all [the] house of father my for not he knew servant your in all this anything small or great.

۱۶ 16 پادشاه گفت: «ای اخیملک تو و تمامی خاندان پدرت البته خواهید مرد.»

And he said the king certainly you will die O Ahimelech you and all [the] house of father your.

۱۷ 17 آنگاه پادشاه به شاطرانی که به حضورش ایستاده بودند، گفت: «برخاسته، کاهنان خداوندرا بکشید زیرا که دست ایشان نیز با داود است و بااینکه دانستند که او فرار می‌کند، مرا اطلاع ندادند.» اما خادمان پادشاه نخواستند که دست خود را دراز کرده، بر کاهنان خداوند هجوم آورند.

And he said the king to the runners who were standing with him turn round and put to death - [the] priests of Yahweh for also hand their [is] with David and for they knew that [was] fleeing he and not they uncovered (ear my *QK) and not they were willing [the] servants of the king to stretch out hand their to fall on [the] priests of Yahweh.

۱۸ 18 پس پادشاه به دوآغ گفت: «تو برگرد وبر کاهنان حمله آور.» و دوآغ ادومی برخاسته، برکاهنان حمله آورد و هشتاد و پنج نفر را که ایفودکتان می‌پوشیدند در آن روز کشت.

And he said the king (to Doeg *Qk) turn round you and fall on the priests and he turned round (Doeg *Qk) the Edomite and he fell he on the priests and he killed - on the day that eighty and five man [who] carried an ephod of linen.

۱۹ 19 و نوب رانیز که شهر کاهنان است به دم شمشیر زد و مردان و زنان و اطفال و شیرخوارگان و گاوان و الاغان وگوسفندان را به دم شمشیر کشت.

And Nob [the] city of the priests he struck to [the] mouth of [the] sword from man and unto woman from child and unto sucking child and ox[en] and donkey[s] and sheep to [the] mouth of [the] sword.

۲۰ 20 اما یکی از پسران اخیملک بن اخیتوب که ابیاتار نام داشت رهایی یافته، در عقب داود فرارکرد.

And he escaped a son one of Ahimelech [the] son of Ahitub and name his [was] Abiathar and he fled after David.

۲۱ 21 و ابیاتار داود را مخبر ساخت که شاول کاهنان خداوند را کشت.

And he told Abiathar to David that he had killed Saul [the] priests of Yahweh.

۲۲ 22 داود به ابیاتار گفت: «روزی که دوآغ ادومی در آنجا بود، دانستم که اوشاول را البته مخبر‌خواهد ساخت، پس من باعث کشته شدن تمامی اهل خاندان پدرت شدم.

And he said David to Abiathar I knew on the day that that [was] there (Doeg *Qk) the Edomite that certainly he will tell to Saul I I have turned in every life of [the] house of father your.

۲۳ 23 نزد من بمان و مترس زیرا هر‌که قصد جان من دارد قصد جان تو نیز خواهد داشت. و لکن نزد من محفوظ خواهی بود.»

Remain! with me may not you be afraid for [the one] who he seeks life my he seeks life your for [are] in good care you with me.
