اول سموئیل 18
| و واقع شد که چون از سخن‌گفتن باشاول فارغ شد، دل یوناتان بر دل داودچسبید، و یوناتان او را مثل جان خویش دوست داشت. | ۱ 1 |
And it happened that, when he had completed speaking to Saul, the soul of Jonathan adhered to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him like his own soul.
| و در آن روز شاول وی را گرفته، نگذاشت که به خانه پدرش برگردد. | ۲ 2 |
And Saul took him that day, and would not permit him to return to his father’s house.
| و یوناتان باداود عهد بست چونکه او را مثل جان خوددوست داشته بود. | ۳ 3 |
Then David and Jonathan formed a pact. For he loved him like his own soul.
| و یوناتان ردایی را که دربرش بود، بیرون کرده، آن را به داود داد و رخت خود حتی شمشیر و کمان و کمربند خویش رانیز. | ۴ 4 |
And Jonathan took off the coat that he was wearing, and he gave it to David, with the rest of his garments, even to his sword and bow, and even his belt.
| و داود به هر جایی که شاول او را می‌فرستادبیرون می‌رفت، و عاقلانه حرکت می‌کرد و شاول او را بر مردان جنگی خود گماشت، و به نظرتمامی قوم و به نظر خادمان شاول نیز مقبول افتاد. | ۵ 5 |
Also, David went out to do everything whatsoever that Saul sent him to do, and he conducted himself prudently. And Saul set him over men of war. And he was acceptable in the eyes of the entire people, and most of all in the sight of the servants of Saul.
| و واقع شد هنگامی که داود از کشتن فلسطینی برمی گشت چون ایشان می‌آمدند که زنان از جمیع شهرهای اسرائیل با دفها و شادی وبا آلات موسیقی سرود و رقص‌کنان به استقبال شاول پادشاه بیرون آمدند. | ۶ 6 |
Now when David returned, after he had struck down the Philistine, the women went out, from all the cities of Israel, leading the singing and dancing, rejoicing with timbrels and bells, so as to meet king Saul.
| و زنان لهو و لعب کرده، به یکدیگر می‌سراییدند و می‌گفتند: «شاول هزاران خود را و داود ده هزاران خود را کشته است.» | ۷ 7 |
And the women sang, as they played, saying, “Saul has struck down a thousand, and David ten thousand.”
| و شاول بسیار غضبناک شد، و این سخن در نظرش ناپسند آمده، گفت: «به داود ده هزاران دادند و به من هزاران دادند، پس غیر از سلطنت برایش چه باقی است.» | ۸ 8 |
Then Saul became exceedingly angry, and this word was displeasing in his eyes. And he said: “They have given David ten thousand, and to me they gave only one thousand. What is left for him, except the kingdom itself?”
| و از آن روز به بعد شاول بر داود به چشم بد می‌نگریست. | ۹ 9 |
Therefore, Saul did not regard David with a good eye, from that day and thereafter.
| و در فردای آن روز روح بد از جانب خدا برشاول آمده، در میان خانه شوریده احوال گردید. و داود مثل هر روز به‌دست خود می‌نواخت ومزراقی در دست شاول بود. | ۱۰ 10 |
Then, on the next day, the evil spirit from God assailed Saul, and he prophesied in the midst of his house. And David played with his hand, just as at every other time. And Saul held a lance in his hand.
| و شاول مزراق راانداخته، گفت: داود را تا به دیوار خواهم زد، اماداود دو مرتبه از حضورش خویشتن را به کنارکشید. | ۱۱ 11 |
And he threw it, thinking that he would be able to fix David to the wall. And David stepped aside twice, from before his face.
| و شاول از داود می‌ترسید زیرا خداوند با اوبود و از شاول دور شده. | ۱۲ 12 |
And Saul feared David, because the Lord was with him, but he had withdrawn from Saul.
| پس شاول وی را ازنزد خود دور کرد و او را سردار هزاره خود نصب نمود، و به حضور قوم خروج و دخول می‌کرد. | ۱۳ 13 |
Therefore, Saul sent him away from himself, and he made him tribune over one thousand men. And he entered and departed in the sight of the people.
| و داود در همه رفتار خود عاقلانه حرکت می‌نمود، و خداوند با وی می‌بود. | ۱۴ 14 |
Also, David acted prudently in all his ways, and the Lord was with him.
| و چون شاول دید که او بسیار عاقلانه حرکت می‌کند به‌سبب او هراسان می‌بود. | ۱۵ 15 |
And so, Saul saw that he was exceedingly prudent, and he began to be wary of him.
| اما تمامی اسرائیل ویهودا داود را دوست می‌داشتند، زیرا که به حضور ایشان خروج و دخول می‌کرد. | ۱۶ 16 |
But all of Israel and Judah loved David. For he entered and departed before them.
| و شاول به داود گفت: «اینک دختر بزرگ خود میرب را به تو به زنی می‌دهم. فقط برایم شجاع باش و در جنگهای خداوند بکوش، زیراشاول می‌گفت: «دست من بر او دراز نشود بلکه دست فلسطینیان.» | ۱۷ 17 |
And Saul said to David: “Behold, my elder daughter, Merab. I will give her to you as wife. Only be a valiant man, and fight the wars of the Lord.” Now Saul was considering within himself, saying, “Let not my hand be upon him, but let the hands of the Philistines be upon him.”
| و داود به شاول گفت: من کیستم و جان من و خاندان پدرم در اسرائیل چیست تا داماد پادشاه بشوم.» | ۱۸ 18 |
Then David said to Saul, “Who am I, and what is my life, and what is my father’s kinship within Israel, that I should be the son-in-law of the king?”
| و در وقتی که میرب دختر شاول می‌بایست به داود داده شود اوبه عدریئیل محولاتی به زنی داده شد. | ۱۹ 19 |
Then it happened that, at the time when Merab, the daughter of Saul, was to be given to David, she was given to Adriel, the Meholathite, as wife.
| و میکال، دختر شاول، داود را دوست می‌داشت، و چون شاول را خبر دادند این امر وی را پسند آمد. | ۲۰ 20 |
Now Michal, the other daughter of Saul, loved David. And this was reported to Saul, and it pleased him.
| و شاول گفت: «او را به وی می‌دهم تا برایش دام شود و دست فلسطینیان براو دراز شود.» پس شاول به داود بار دوم گفت: «امروز داماد من خواهی شد.» | ۲۱ 21 |
And Saul said, “I will give her to him, so that she may be a stumbling block to him, and so that the hand of the Philistines may be upon him.” And Saul said to David, “In two things, you shall be my son-in-law today.”
| و شاول خادمان خود را فرمود که در خفا با داود متکلم شده، بگویید: «اینک پادشاه از تو راضی است وخادمانش تو را دوست می‌دارند؛ پس الان دامادپادشاه بشو.» | ۲۲ 22 |
And Saul commanded his servants to speak to David privately, saying: “Behold, you are pleasing to the king, and all his servants love you. Now therefore, be the son-in-law of the king.”
| پس خادمان شاول این سخنان را به سمع داود رسانیدند و داود گفت: «آیا در نظر شما دامادپادشاه شدن آسان است؟ و حال آنکه من مردمسکین و حقیرم.» | ۲۳ 23 |
And the servants of Saul spoke all these words to the ears of David. And David said: “Does it seem a small matter to you, to be the son-in-law of the king? I am but a poor and unimportant man.”
| و خادمان شاول او را خبرداده، گفتند که داود به این طور سخن گفته است. | ۲۴ 24 |
And the servants reported to Saul, saying, “David has spoken words in this manner.”
| و شاول گفت: «به داود چنین بگویید که پادشاه مهر نمی خواهد جز صد قلفه فلسطینیان تا ازدشمنان پادشاه انتقام کشیده شود.» و شاول فکرکرد که داود را به‌دست فلسطینیان به قتل رساند. | ۲۵ 25 |
Then Saul said, “Speak in this way to David: The king does not have need of any dowry, but only one hundred foreskins from the Philistine men, so that he may be vindicated from the enemies of the king.” So did Saul think to deliver David into the hands of the Philistines.
| پس خادمانش داود را از این امر خبر دادندو این سخن به نظر داود پسند آمد که داماد پادشاه بشود، و روزهای معین هنوز تمام نشده بود. | ۲۶ 26 |
And when his servants had repeated to David the words that Saul had spoken, the word was pleasing in the eyes of David, so that he would become son-in-law of the king.
| پس داود برخاسته، با مردان خود رفت ودویست نفر از فلسطینیان را کشته، داود قلفه های ایشان را آورد و آنها را تمام نزد پادشاه گذاشتند، تا داماد پادشاه بشود. و شاول دختر خود میکال رابه وی به زنی داد. | ۲۷ 27 |
And after a few days, David, rising up, went with the men who were under him, and he struck down two hundred men of the Philistines. And he brought their foreskins, and he counted them out for the king, so that he might be his son-in-law. And so, Saul gave to him his daughter Michal as wife.
| و شاول دید و فهمید که خداوند با داود است. و میکال دختر شاول او رادوست می‌داشت. | ۲۸ 28 |
And Saul saw and understood that the Lord was with David. And Michal, the daughter of Saul, loved him.
| و شاول از داود باز بیشترترسید، و شاول همه اوقات دشمن داود بود. | ۲۹ 29 |
And Saul began to fear David all the more. And Saul became the enemy of David, every day.
| و بعد از آن سرداران فلسطینیان بیرون آمدند، و هر دفعه که بیرون می‌آمدند داود از جمیع خادمان شاول زیاده عاقلانه حرکت می‌کرد، و از این جهت اسمش بسیار شهرت یافت. | ۳۰ 30 |
And the leaders of the Philistines departed. And from the beginning of their departure, David conducted himself more prudently than all the servants of Saul, and his name became exceedingly celebrated.
