| و سلیمان پادشاه سوای دختر فرعون، زنان غریب بسیاری را از موآبیان و عمونیان وادومیان و صیدونیان و حتیان دوست می‌داشت. | ۱ 1 |
But king Solomon loved many foreign women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, [and] Hittites;
| از امتهایی که خداوند درباره ایشان بنی‌اسرائیل را فرموده بود که شما به ایشان درنیایید و ایشان به شما درنیایند مبادا دل شما را به پیروی خدایان خود مایل گردانند. و سلیمان با اینها به محبت ملصق شد. | ۲ 2 |
Of the nations [concerning] which the LORD said to the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in to you: [for] surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon cleaved to these in love.
| و او را هفتصد زن بانو و سیصد متعه بود و زنانش دل او را برگردانیدند. | ۳ 3 |
And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart.
| و در وقت پیری سلیمان واقع شد که زنانش دل او را به پیروی خدایان غریب مایل ساختند، و دل او مثل دل پدرش داود با یهوه، خدایش کامل نبود. | ۴ 4 |
For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, [that] his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as [was] the heart of David his father.
| پس سلیمان در عقب عشتورت، خدای صیدونیان، ودر عقب ملکوم رجس عمونیان رفت. | ۵ 5 |
For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.
| و سلیمان در نظر خداوند شرارت ورزیده، مثل پدر خود داود، خداوند را پیروی کامل ننمود. | ۶ 6 |
And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as [did] David his father.
| آنگاه سلیمان در کوهی که روبروی اورشلیم است مکانی بلند به جهت کموش که رجس موآبیان است، و به جهت مولک، رجس بنی عمون بنا کرد. | ۷ 7 |
Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that [is] before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.
| و همچنین به جهت همه زنان غریب خود که برای خدایان خویش بخور می‌سوزانیدند وقربانی‌ها می‌گذرانیدند، عمل نمود. | ۸ 8 |
And likewise did he for all his foreign wives, who burnt incense and sacrificed to their gods.
| پس خشم خداوند بر سلیمان افروخته شداز آن جهت که دلش از یهوه، خدای اسرائیل منحرف گشت که دو مرتبه بر او ظاهر شده، | ۹ 9 |
And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice,
| اورا در همین باب امر فرموده بود که پیروی خدایان غیر را ننماید اما آنچه خداوند به او امر فرموده بود، به‌جا نیاورد. | ۱۰ 10 |
And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which the LORD commanded.
| پس خداوند به سلیمان گفت: «چونکه این عمل را نمودی و عهد وفرایض مرا که به تو امر فرمودم نگاه نداشتی، البته سلطنت را از تو پاره کرده، آن را به بنده ات خواهم داد. | ۱۱ 11 |
Wherefore the LORD said to Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done by thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.
| لیکن در ایام تو این را به‌خاطر پدرت، داودنخواهم کرد اما از دست پسرت آن را پاره خواهم کرد. | ۱۲ 12 |
Notwithstanding, in thy days, I will not do it, for David thy father's sake: [but] I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.
| ولی تمامی مملکت را پاره نخواهم کردبلکه یک سبط را به‌خاطر بنده‌ام داود و به‌خاطراورشلیم که برگزیده‌ام به پسر تو خواهم داد.» | ۱۳ 13 |
Yet, I will not rend away all the kingdom; [but] will give one tribe to thy son for David my servant's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake which I have chosen.
| و خداوند دشمنی برای سلیمان برانگیزانید، یعنی هدد ادومی را که از ذریت پادشاهان ادوم بود. | ۱۴ 14 |
And the LORD stirred up an adversary to Solomon, Hadad the Edomite: he [was] of the king's seed in Edom.
| زیرا هنگامی که داود درادوم بود و یوآب که سردار لشکر بود، برای دفن کردن کشتگان رفته بود و تمامی ذکوران ادوم راکشته بود. | ۱۵ 15 |
For it came to pass, when David was in Edom, and Joab the captain of the host had gone up to bury the slain, after he had smitten every male in Edom;
| (زیرا یوآب و تمامی اسرائیل شش ماه در آنجا ماندند تا تمامی ذکوران ادوم را منقطع ساختند). | ۱۶ 16 |
(For six months did Joab remain there with all Israel, until he had cut off every male in Edom: )
| آنگاه هدد با بعضی ادومیان که ازبندگان پدرش بودند، فرار کردند تا به مصر بروند، و هدد طفلی کوچک بود. | ۱۷ 17 |
That Hadad fled, he and certain Edomites of his father's servants with him, to go into Egypt; Hadad [being] yet a little child.
| پس، از مدیان روانه شده، به فاران آمدند، و چند نفر از فاران با خودبرداشته، به مصر نزد فرعون، پادشاه مصر آمدند، و او وی را خانه‌ای داد و معیشتی برایش تعیین نمود و زمینی به او ارزانی داشت. | ۱۸ 18 |
And they arose out of Midian, and came to Paran: and they took men with them from Paran, and they came to Egypt, to Pharaoh king of Egypt; who gave him a house, and appointed him victuals, and gave him land.
| و هدد درنظر فرعون التفات بسیار یافت و خواهر زن خود، یعنی خواهر تحفنیس ملکه را به وی به زنی داد. | ۱۹ 19 |
And Hadad found great favor in the sight of Pharaoh, so that he gave him for a wife the sister of his own wife, the sister of Tahpenes the queen.
| و خواهر تحفنیس پسری جنوبت نام برای وی زایید و تحفنیس او را در خانه فرعون از شیربازداشت و جنوبت در خانه فرعون در میان پسران فرعون می‌بود. | ۲۰ 20 |
And the sister of Tahpenes bore him Genubath his son, whom Tahpenes weaned in Pharaoh's house: and Genubath was in Pharaoh's household among the sons of Pharaoh.
| و چون هدد در مصر شنید که داود با پدران خویش خوابیده، و یوآب، سردارلشکر مرده است، هدد به فرعون گفت: «مرارخصت بده تا به ولایت خود بروم.» | ۲۱ 21 |
And when Hadad heard in Egypt that David slept with his fathers, and that Joab the captain of the host was dead, Hadad said to Pharaoh, Let me depart, that I may go to my own country.
| فرعون وی را گفت: «اما تو را نزد من چه چیز کم است که اینک می‌خواهی به ولایت خود بروی؟» گفت: «هیچ، لیکن مرا البته مرخص نما.» | ۲۲ 22 |
Then Pharaoh said to him, But what hast thou lacked with me, that, behold, thou seekest to go to thy own country? And he answered, Nothing: yet, in any wise let me go.
| و خدا دشمنی دیگر برای وی برانگیزانید، یعنی رزون بن الیداع را که از نزد آقای خویش، هددعزر، پادشاه صوبه فرار کرده بود. | ۲۳ 23 |
And God stirred him up [another] adversary, Rezon the son of Eliadah, who fled from his lord Hadadezer king of Zobah:
| و مردان چندی نزد خود جمع کرده، سردار فوجی شدهنگامی که داود بعضی ایشان را کشت. پس به دمشق رفتند و در آنجا ساکن شده، در دمشق حکمرانی نمودند. | ۲۴ 24 |
And he gathered men to him, and became captain over a band, when David slew them [of Zobah]: and they went to Damascus, and dwelt in it, and reigned in Damascus.
| و او در تمامی روزهای سلیمان، دشمن اسرائیل می‌بود، علاوه بر ضرری که هدد می‌رسانید و از اسرائیل نفرت داشته، برارام سلطنت می‌نمود. | ۲۵ 25 |
And he was an adversary to Israel all the days of Solomon, besides the mischief that Hadad [did]: and he abhorred Israel, and reigned over Syria.
| و یربعام بن نباط افرایمی از صرده که بنده سلیمان و مادرش مسمی به صروعه و بیوه‌زنی بود، دست خود را نیز به ضد پادشاه بلند کرد. | ۲۶ 26 |
And Jeroboam the son of Nebat, an Ephrathite of Zereda, Solomon's servant, whose mother's name [was] Zeruah, a widow woman, even he raised [his] hand against the king.
| و سبب آنکه دست خود را به ضد پادشاه بلند کرد، این بود که سلیمان ملو را بنا می‌کرد، و رخنه شهرپدر خود داود را تعمیر می‌نمود. | ۲۷ 27 |
And this [was] the cause why he raised [his] hand against the king: Solomon built Millo, [and] repaired the breaches of the city of David his father.
| و یربعام مردشجاع جنگی بود. پس چون سلیمان آن جوان رادید که در کار مردی زرنگ بود او را بر تمامی امور خاندان یوسف بگماشت. | ۲۸ 28 |
And the man Jeroboam [was] a mighty man of valor: and Solomon, seeing the young man that he was industrious, he made him ruler over all the charge of the house of Joseph.
| و در آن زمان واقع شد که یربعام از اورشلیم بیرون می‌آمد واخیای شیلونی نبی در راه به او برخورد، و جامه تازه‌ای در برداشت و ایشان هر دو در صحرا تنهابودند. | ۲۹ 29 |
And it came to pass at that time when Jeroboam went out of Jerusalem, that the prophet Ahijah the Shilonite found him in the way; and he had clad himself with a new garment; and they two [were] alone in the field:
| پس اخیا جامه تازه‌ای که در برداشت گرفته، آن را به دوازده قسمت پاره کرد. | ۳۰ 30 |
And Ahijah caught the new garment that [was] on him, and rent it [in] twelve pieces:
| و به یربعام گفت: «ده قسمت برای خود بگیر زیرا که یهوه، خدای اسرائیل چنین می‌گوید، اینک من مملکت را از دست سلیمان پاره می‌کنم و ده سبطبه تو می‌دهم. | ۳۱ 31 |
And he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom from the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee:
| و به‌خاطر بنده من، داود و به‌خاطر اورشلیم، شهری که از تمامی اسباطبنی‌اسرائیل برگزیده‌ام، یک سبط از آن او خواهدبود. | ۳۲ 32 |
(But he shall have one tribe for my servant David's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel: )
| چونکه ایشان مرا ترک کردند و عشتورت، خدای صیدونیان، و کموش، خدای موآب، وملکوم، خدای بنی عمون را سجده کردند، و درطریقهای من سلوک ننمودند و آنچه در نظر من راست است، بجا نیاوردند و فرایض و احکام مرامثل پدرش، داود نگاه نداشتند. | ۳۳ 33 |
Because they have forsaken me, and have worshiped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon, and have not walked in my ways, to do [that which is] right in my eyes, and [to keep] my statutes and my judgments, as [did] David his father.
| لیکن تمام مملکت را از دست او نخواهم گرفت بلکه به‌خاطر بنده خود داود که او را برگزیدم، از آنرو که اوامر و فرایض مرا نگاه داشته بود، او را در تمامی ایام روزهایش سرور خواهم ساخت. | ۳۴ 34 |
Yet I will not take the whole kingdom out of his hand: but I will make him prince all the days of his life for David my servant's sake, whom I chose, because he kept my commandments and my statutes:
| اماسلطنت را از دست پسرش گرفته، آن را یعنی ده سبط به تو خواهم داد. | ۳۵ 35 |
But I will take the kingdom out of his son's hand, and will give it to thee, [even] ten tribes.
| و یک سبط به پسرش خواهم بخشید تا بنده من، داود در اورشلیم، شهری که برای خود برگزیده‌ام تا اسم خود را درآن بگذارم، نوری در حضور من همیشه داشته باشد. | ۳۶ 36 |
And to his son will I give one tribe, that David my servant may have a light always before me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen for me to put my name there.
| و تو را خواهم گرفت تا موافق هر‌چه دلت آرزو دارد، سلطنت نمایی و بر اسرائیل پادشاه شوی. | ۳۷ 37 |
And I will take thee, and thou shalt reign according to all that thy soul desireth, and shalt be king over Israel.
| و واقع خواهد شد که اگر هر‌چه تو را امر فرمایم، بشنوی و به طریق هایم سلوک نموده، آنچه در نظرم راست است بجا آوری وفرایض و اوامر مرا نگاه داری چنانکه بنده من، داود آنها را نگاه داشت، آنگاه با تو خواهم بود وخانه‌ای مستحکم برای تو بنا خواهم نمود، چنانکه برای داود بنا کردم و اسرائیل را به توخواهم بخشید. | ۳۸ 38 |
And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken to all that I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with thee, and build thee a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel to thee.
| و ذریت داود را به‌سبب این امر ذلیل خواهم ساخت اما نه تا به ابد.» | ۳۹ 39 |
And I will for this afflict the seed of David, but not for ever.
| پس سلیمان قصد کشتن یربعام داشت و یربعام برخاسته، به مصر نزد شیشق، پادشاه مصر فرارکرد و تا وفات سلیمان در مصر ماند. | ۴۰ 40 |
Solomon sought therefore to kill Jeroboam. And Jeroboam arose, and fled into Egypt, to Shishak king of Egypt, and was in Egypt until the death of Solomon.
| و بقیه امور سلیمان و هر‌چه کرد و حکمت او، آیا آنها در کتاب وقایع سلیمان مکتوب نیست؟ | ۴۱ 41 |
And the rest of the acts of Solomon, and all that he did, and his wisdom, [are] they not written in the book of the acts of Solomon?
| و ایامی که سلیمان در اورشلیم برتمامی اسرائیل سلطنت کرد، چهل سال بود. | ۴۲ 42 |
And the time that Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel [was] forty years.
| پس سلیمان با پدران خود خوابید و در شهرپدر خود داود دفن شد و پسرش رحبعام در جای او سلطنت نمود | ۴۳ 43 |
And Solomon slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David his father: and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead.
