| آنچه از ابتدا بود و آنچه شنیده‌ایم و به چشم خود دیده، آنچه بر آن نگریستیم ودستهای ما لمس کرد، درباره کلمه حیات. | ۱ 1 |
We write to you about the Word of life, which has been in existence from the beginning. We write of what we have heard, of what we have seen with our eyes, of what we watched reverently and touched with our hands.
| وحیات ظاهر شد و آن را دیده‌ایم و شهادت می‌دهیم و به شما خبر می‌دهیم از حیات جاودانی که نزد پدر بود و برما ظاهر شد. (aiōnios g166) | ۲ 2 |
That life was made visible, and we have seen it. We bear our testimony to it, and tell you of that eternal life which was with the Father and was made visible to us. (aiōnios g166)
| ازآنچه دیده و شنیده‌ایم شما را اعلام می‌نماییم تاشما هم با ما شراکت داشته باشید. و اما شراکت مابا پدر و با پسرش عیسی مسیح است. | ۳ 3 |
It is of what we have seen and heard that we now tell you, so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
| و این را به شما می‌نویسم تا خوشی ما کامل گردد. | ۴ 4 |
We are writing all this to you that our joy may be complete.
| و این است پیغامی که از او شنیده‌ایم و به شما اعلام می‌نماییم، که خدا نور است و هیچ ظلمت در وی هرگز نیست. | ۵ 5 |
This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all.
| اگر گوییم که با وی شراکت داریم، در حالیکه در ظلمت سلوک می‌نماییم، دروغ می‌گوییم و براستی عمل نمی کنیم. | ۶ 6 |
If we say that we have fellowship with him and yet continue to walk in the darkness, our words and our lives are a lie.
| لکن اگر در نور سلوک می‌نماییم، چنانکه او در نور است، با یکدیگر شراکت داریم و خون پسر او عیسی مسیح ما را از هر گناه پاک می‌سازد. | ۷ 7 |
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.
| اگر گوییم که گناه نداریم خود را گمراه می‌کنیم و راستی در ما نیست. | ۸ 8 |
If we say, ‘we have no sin,’ then we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
| اگر به گناهان خود اعتراف کنیم، او امین و عادل است تا گناهان ما را بیامرزد و ما را از هر ناراستی پاک سازد. | ۹ 9 |
If we confess our sins, he is just and may be trusted to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all wrongdoing.
| اگر گوییم که گناه نکرده‌ایم، او را دروغگو می شماریم و کلام او در ما نیست. | ۱۰ 10 |
If we say that we haven’t sinned, we make God a liar, and his Word is not in us.
