اول تواریخ 22

۱ 1 پس داود گفت: « اين است خانه يهُوَه خدا، و اين مذبح قرباني سوختني براي اسرائيل مي باشد.»

And Dauid saide, This is the house of the Lord God, and this is the altar for the burnt offring of Israel.

۲ 2 و داود فرمود تا غريبان را که در زمين اسرائيل اند جمع کنند، و سنگ تراشان معين کرد تا سنگهاي مربع براي بناي خانه خدا بتراشند.

And Dauid commanded to gather together the strangers that were in the lande of Israel, and he set masons to hewe and polish stones to builde the house of God.

۳ 3 و داود آهن بسياري به جهت ميخها براي لنگه هاي دروازه ها و براي وصلها حاضر ساخت و برنج بسيار که نتوان وزن نمود.

Dauid also prepared much yron for the nayles of the doores and of the gates, and for the ioynings, and abundance of brasse passing weight,

۴ 4 و چوب سرو آزاد بيشمار زيرا اهل صَيدون و صور چوب سرو آزاد بسيار براي داود آوردند.

And cedar trees without nomber: for the Zidonians and they of Tyrus brought much cedar wood to Dauid.

۵ 5 و داود گفت: « پسر من سليمان صغير و نازک است و خانه اي براي يهُوَه بايد بنا نمود، مي بايست بسيار عظيم و نامي و جليل در تمامي زمينها بشود؛ لهذا حال برايش تهيه مي بينم.» پس داود قبل از وفاتش تهيه بسيار ديد.

And Dauid saide, Salomon my sonne is yong and tender, and we must builde an house for the Lord, magnificall, excellent and of great fame and dignitie throughout all countreyes. I will therefore nowe prepare for him. So Dauid prepared very much before his death.

۶ 6 پس پسر خود سليمان را خوانده، او را وصيت نمود که خانه اي براي يهُوَه خداي اسرائيل بنا نمايد.

Then he called Salomon his sonne, and charged him to builde an house for the Lord God of Israel.

۷ 7 و داود به سليمان گفت که: « اي پسرم! من اراده داشتم که خانه اي براي اسم يهُوَه خداي خود بنا نمايم.

And Dauid said to Salomon, My sonne, I purposed with my selfe to builde an house to the Name of the Lord my God,

۸ 8 ليکن کلام خداوند بر من نازل شده، گفت: چونکه بسيار خون ريخته اي و جنگهاي عظيم کرده اي، پس خانه اي براي اسم من بنا نخواهي کرد، چونکه به حضور من بسيار خون بر زمين ريخته اي.

But the worde of the Lord came to me, saying, Thou hast shed much blood, and hast made great battels: thou shalt not builde an house vnto my Name: for thou hast shead much blood vpon the earth in my sight.

۹ 9 اينک پسري براي تو متولد خواهد شد که مرد آرامي خواهد بود زيرا که من او را از جميع دشمنانش از هر طرف آرامي خواهم بخشيد، چونکه اسم او سليمان خواهد بود در ايام او اسرائيل را سلامتي و راحت عطا خواهم فرمود.

Beholde, a sonne is borne to thee, which shalbe a man of rest, for I will giue him rest from all his enemies rounde about: therefore his name is Salomon: and I will sende peace and quietnes vpon Israel in his dayes.

۱۰ 10 او خانه اي براي اسم من بنا خواهد کرد و او پسر من خواهد بود و من پدر او خواهم بود. و کُرسي سلطنت او را بر اسرائيل تا ابدالآباد پايدار خواهم گردانيد.

Hee shall builde an house for my Name, and he shalbe my sonne, and I will be his father, and I will establish the throne of his kingdome vpon Israel for euer.

۱۱ 11 پس حال اي پسر من خداوند همراه تو باد تا کامياب شوي و خانه يهُوَه خداي خود را چنانکه درباره تو فرموده است بنا نمايي.

Nowe therefore my sonne, the Lord shalbe with thee, and thou shalt prosper, and thou shalt builde an house to the Lord thy God, as he hath spoken of thee.

۱۲ 12 اما خداوند تو را فطانت و فهم عطا فرمايد و تو را درباره اسرائيل وصيت نمايد تا شريعت يهُوَه خداي خود را نگاه داري.

Onely the Lord giue thee wisedome and vnderstanding, and giue thee charge ouer Israel, euen to keepe the Lawe of the Lord thy God.

۱۳ 13 آنگاه اگر متوجه شده، فرايض و احکامي را که خداوند به موسي درباره اسرائيل امر فرموده است، به عمل آوري کامياب خواهي شد. پس قوي دلير باش و ترسان و هراسان مشو.

Then thou shalt prosper, if thou take heede to obserue the statutes and the iudgements which the Lord commanded Moses for Israel: be strong and of good courage: feare not, neither bee afraide.

۱۴ 14 و اينک من در تنگي خود صد هزار وزنه طلا و صد هزار وزنه نقره و برنج و آهن اينقدر زياده که به وزن نيايد، براي خانه خداوند حاضر کرده ام؛ و چوب و سنگ نيز مهيا ساخته ام و تو بر آنها مزيد کن.

For beholde, according to my pouertie haue I prepared for the house of the Lord an hundreth thousand talents of golde, and a thousand thousande talents of siluer, and of brasse and of yron passing weight: for there was abundance: I haue also prepared timber and stone, and thou mayest prouide more thereto.

۱۵ 15 و نزد تو عمله بسيارند، از سنگ بران و سنگتراشان و نجاران و اشخاص هنرمند براي هر صنعتي.

Moreouer thou hast workmen with thee enough, hewers of stone, and workemen for timber, and all men expert in euery worke.

۱۶ 16 طلا و نقره و برنج و آهن بيشمار است پس برخيز و مشغول باش و خداوند همراه تو باد.»

Of golde, of siluer, and of brasse, and of yron there is no nomber: Vp therefore, and be doing, and the Lord wilbe with thee.

۱۷ 17 و داود تمامي سروران اسرائيل را امر فرمود که پسرش سليمان را اعانت نمايند.

Dauid also commanded all the princes of Israel to helpe Salomon his sonne, saying,

۱۸ 18 ( و گفت): « آيا يهُوَه خداي شما با شما نيست و آيا شما را از هر طرف آرامي نداده است؟ زيرا ساکنان زمين را به دست من تسليم کرده است و زمين به حضور خداوند و به حضور قوم او مغلوب شده است.

Is not the Lord your God with you, and hath giuen you rest on euerie side? for hee hath giuen the inhabitants of the land into mine hand, and the land is subdued before the Lord and before his people.

۱۹ 19 پس حال دلها و جانهاي خود را متوجه سازيد تا يهُوَه خداي خويش را بطلبيد و برخاسته، مَقدس يهُوَه خداي خويش را بنا نمايد تا تابوت عهد خداوند و آلات مقدس خدا را به خانه اي که به جهت اسم يهُوَه بنا مي شود درآوريد.»

Nowe set your hearts and your soules to seeke the Lord your God, and arise, and builde the Sanctuarie of the Lord God to bring the Arke of the couenant of the Lord, and the holy vessels of God into the house built for the Name of the Lord.
