ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 64

1 ੧ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ। ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੇਰੀ ਫ਼ਰਿਆਦ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣ, ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੈਰੀ ਦੇ ਡਰ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਡਾ।

[For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] Hear my voice, God, in my complaint. Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.

2 ੨ ਬਦਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੁਪਤ ਮਤੇ ਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਕਰਮੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਹਲਚਲ ਤੋਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਲੁਕਾ,

Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the noisy crowd of the ones doing evil;

3 ੩ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜੀਭ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਤਿੱਖੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੌੜੇ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ,

who sharpen their tongue like a sword, and aim their arrows, deadly words,

4 ੪ ਕਿ ਗੁਪਤ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉੱਤੇ ਚਲਾਉਣ, ਓਹ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਚਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਡਰਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ।

to shoot innocent men from ambushes. They shoot at him suddenly and fearlessly.

5 ੫ ਓਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਲਈ ਤਕੜਿਆਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਫੰਦੇ ਲੁਕਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਉਪਾਓ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਭਲਾ, ਕੌਣ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਵੇਖੇਗਾ?

They encourage themselves in evil plans. They talk about laying snares secretly. They say, "Who will see them?"

6 ੬ ਓਹ ਸ਼ਰਾਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਲਦੇ ਹਨ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਪੱਕਾ ਖੋਜ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਹੈ!” ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਦਰਲਾ ਦਿਲ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਹੈ।

They plot injustice; they hide a well-conceived plan. Surely man's mind and heart are cunning.

7 ੭ ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਤੀਰ ਚਲਾਵੇਗਾ, ਓਹ ਫੱਟੜ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ,

But God will shoot at them. They will be suddenly struck down with an arrow.

8 ੮ ਓਹ ਠੇਡੇ ਖਾਣਗੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਸਨਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੀ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਸਭ ਵੇਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

Their own tongues shall ruin them. All who see them will shake their heads.

9 ੯ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਡਰਨਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਦੱਸਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਉੱਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

All humankind shall be afraid. They shall declare the work of God, and shall wisely ponder what he has done.

10 ੧੦ ਧਰਮੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਆਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਮਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall take refuge in him. All the upright in heart shall praise him.
