ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 2

1 ੧ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਕਿਸ ਗੱਲ ਲਈ ਡੰਡ ਪਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼-ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਕਿਉਂ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਸੋਚ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹਨ?

Why doe the heathen rage, and the people murmure in vaine?

2 ੨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਉੱਠ ਖੜੇ ਹੋਏ, ਅਤੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਤਾ ਪਕਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ,

The Kings of the earth band themselues, and the princes are assembled together against the Lord, and against his Christ.

3 ੩ ਕਿ ਆਓ, ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੰਧਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜ ਦੇਈਏ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਰੱਸੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਲਾਹ ਸੁੱਟੀਏ।

Let vs breake their bands, and cast their cordes from vs.

4 ੪ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਹੱਸੇਗਾ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਖ਼ੌਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਡਾਵੇਗਾ।

But he that dwelleth in the heauen, shall laugh: the Lord shall haue them in derision.

5 ੫ ਤਦ ਉਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੋਲੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਬਰਾਹਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ।

Then shall hee speake vnto them in his wrath, and vexe them in his sore displeasure, saying,

6 ੬ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪਰਬਤ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਠਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

Euen I haue set my King vpon Zion mine holy mountaine.

7 ੭ ਮੈਂ ਬਚਨ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੈਂ, ਮੈਂ ਅੱਜ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

I will declare the decree: that is, the Lord hath said vnto me, Thou art my Sonne: this day haue I begotten thee.

8 ੮ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਮੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੀ ਮਿਰਾਸ, ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਮਿਲਖ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।

Aske of me, and I shall giue thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the endes of the earth for thy possession.

9 ੯ ਤੂੰ ਲੋਹੇ ਦੇ ਡੰਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੰਨ ਸੁੱਟੇਂਗਾ, ਘੁਮਿਆਰ ਦੇ ਭਾਂਡੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਕਨਾ-ਚੂਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਂਗਾ।

Thou shalt krush them with a scepter of yron, and breake them in pieces like a potters vessell.

10 ੧੦ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਹੇ ਰਾਜਿਓ, ਸਿਆਣੇ ਬਣੋ, ਅਤੇ ਹੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਨਿਆਂਈਓ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਮਝ ਜਾਓ।

Be wise nowe therefore, ye Kings: be learned ye Iudges of the earth.

11 ੧੧ ਭੈਅ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਬਦੇ-ਕੰਬਦੇ ਅਨੰਦ ਮਨਾਓ,

Serue the Lord in feare, and reioyce in trembling.

12 ੧੨ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੰਮੋ ਕਿਤੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਹ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਵੇ, ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਰਾਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਓ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਛੇਤੀ ਭੜਕ ਉੱਠੇਗਾ। ਧੰਨ ਹਨ ਓਹ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਨਾਹ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

Kisse the sonne, least he be angry, and ye perish in the way, when his wrath shall suddenly burne. blessed are all that trust in him.
