ਅੱਯੂਬ 32

1 ੧ ਤਦ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰਮੀ ਸੀ

So these three men ceased to respond to Job, because, he, was righteous in their eyes.

2 ੨ ਫੇਰ ਬਰਕਏਲ ਬੂਜ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਲੀਹੂ ਜੋ ਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਟੱਬਰ ਦਾ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਭੜਕਿਆ। ਉਹ ਦਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਭੜਕਿਆ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਰਦੋਸ਼ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਨਾ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ,

Then was kindled the anger of Elihu, son of Barachel the Buzite of the family of Ram, —against Job, was kindled his anger, because he justified his own soul rather than God;

3 ੩ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਮਿੱਤਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੀ ਭੜਕਿਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਨਾ ਦੇ ਸਕੇ, ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ।

and, against his three friends, was kindled his anger, —because that they found not a response, and condemned God.

4 ੪ ਅਲੀਹੂ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਠਹਿਰਿਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਸਨ।

But, Elihu, had waited for Job with words, because the others were older than he.

5 ੫ ਜਦ ਅਲੀਹੂ ਨੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਉੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ, ਤਦ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਭੜਕ ਗਿਆ।

Howbeit, when Elihu saw that there was no response in the mouth of the three men, then was kindled his anger.

6 ੬ ਤਦ ਬਰਕਏਲ ਬੂਜ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਲੀਹੂ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਅਜੇ ਜੁਆਨ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਹੋ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਰੁਕਿਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਦੱਸਣ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦਾ ਸੀ।

So then Elihu, son of Barachel, the Buzite, responded and said: —Young, am I, whereas, ye, are aged, For this cause, I faltered, and feared—to shew my knowledge unto you:

7 ੭ ਮੈਂ ਸੋਚਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਬੋਲਣ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਬੁੱਧ ਸਿਖਾਉਣ,

I said, Days, should speak, —and, the multitude of years, should make known wisdom.

8 ੮ ਪਰੰਤੂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਆਤਮਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਸਾਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

Yet surely, there is a spirit in men, and, the inspiration of the Almighty, giveth them understanding;

9 ੯ ਉਹ ਵੱਡੇ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਨ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਹੀ ਨਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ।

Great men, may not be wise, nor, elders, understand justice.

10 ੧੦ “ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਮੇਰੀ ਸੁਣੋ, ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਦੱਸਾਂਗਾ।

Therefore, I said, Hearken unto me, I will show my knowledge—even I.

11 ੧੧ ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣਨ ਲਈ ਠਹਿਰਿਆ ਰਿਹਾ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਦਲੀਲਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੰਨ ਲਾਇਆ, ਜਦ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਸੀ!

Lo! I waited for your words, I kept giving ear for your reasons, until ye should search out what to say;

12 ੧੨ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਕੀਤਾ, ਵੇਖੋ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਗਲਤ ਸਾਬਤ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ, ਜਾਂ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ।

Yea, unto you, gave I diligent heed, —But lo! there was, for Job, nothing to convince, nor could you of you answer his speeches.

13 ੧੩ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਨਾ ਸਮਝੋ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਬੁੱਧ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਤਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਨਾ ਕਿ ਮਨੁੱਖ,

Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom. GOD, must put him to flight, not man.

14 ੧੪ ਨਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿਤਰਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।

Since he directed not to me discourse, therefore, with your speeches, will I not reply to him.

15 ੧੫ “ਉਹ ਘਬਰਾ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਉੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਬੋਲਣਾ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

They were dismayed, they responded no more, they suffered speech to forsake them;

16 ੧੬ ਕੀ ਮੈਂ ਠਹਿਰਿਆ ਰਹਾਂ ਜਦ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਉੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦੇ?

Though I waited, yet could they not speak, Surely they came to a stand, they responded no more.

17 ੧੭ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਦੱਸਾਂਗਾ।

I will respond, even I—on my part, I will shew my knowledge, even I!

18 ੧੮ ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰਲਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

For I am full of discourse, The spirit in my bosom, presseth me on.

19 ੧੯ ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਉਸ ਮੈਅ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਈ, ਨਵੀਆਂ ਮਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਪਾਟਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।

Lo! my bosom, is like wine not opened, Like new wine-skins, it will burst.

20 ੨੦ ਮੈਂ ਬੋਲਾਂਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਰਾਮ ਆਵੇ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।

I will speak, that I may freely breathe, I will open my lips and respond.

21 ੨੧ ਮੈਂ ਕਦੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਪੱਖਪਾਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਚਾਪਲੂਸੀ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ,

Let me be partial to no man, and, unto no son of earth, give flattering titles,

22 ੨੨ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਚਾਪਲੂਸੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੇਤੀ ਚੁੱਕ ਲਵੇਗਾ।”

Surely I know not how to give flattering titles, How soon might my Maker take me away!
