ਅੱਯੂਬ 27

1 ੧ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੇ ਤਰਕ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ,

Job also added to this, using figures of speech, and he said:

2 ੨ “ਜੀਉਂਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਪਲਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਨਾਲੇ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਕੌੜਾ ਕੀਤਾ!

As God lives, who has taken away my judgment, and the Almighty, who has led my soul to bitterness,

3 ੩ ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਚਿਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਸਾਹ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ,

as long as my breath remains in me and the breath of God remains in my nostrils,

4 ੪ ਮੇਰਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਬਦੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਮੇਰੀ ਜੀਭ ਝੂਠ ਨਾ ਬੋਲੇਗੀ!

my lips will not speak iniquity, nor will my tongue devise lies.

5 ੫ ਇਹ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਧਰਮੀ ਠਹਿਰਾਵਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਰਨ ਤੱਕ ਆਪਣੀ ਖਰਿਆਈ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਛੱਡਾਂਗਾ।

Far be it from me that I should judge you to be right, for, until I expire, I will not withdraw from my innocence.

6 ੬ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਧਰਮ ਤਕੜਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਫੜ੍ਹਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਜਾਣ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਮੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਮਰ ਭਰ ਉਲਾਹਮਾ ਨਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

I will not forsake my justification, which I have just begun to grasp, for my heart does not find blame for me in my whole life.

7 ੭ “ਮੇਰਾ ਵੈਰੀ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਬੁਰਿਆਰ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹੋਵੇ।

Let the impious be as my enemy, and the sinful, as my adversary.

8 ੮ ਜਦ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਭਗਤੀਹੀਣ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਲੈ ਲਵੇ ਤਦ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਆਸ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੁਧਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਮਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਲੈ ਲਵੇ?

For what hope is there for the hypocrite, if he greedily plunders and God does not free his soul?

9 ੯ ਜਦ ਦੁੱਖ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਸੁਣੇਗਾ?

Will God pay attention to his cry, when anguish overcomes him?

10 ੧੦ ਕੀ ਉਹ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਗਨ ਰਹੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰੇਗਾ?

Or will he take delight in the Almighty and call upon God at all times?

11 ੧੧ “ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਿਖਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਨਾ ਲੁਕਾਵਾਂਗਾ।

I will teach you through the hand of God, what the Almighty holds, and I will not conceal it.

12 ੧੨ ਵੇਖੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਫਿਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਿਕੰਮੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ?

Behold, you know all this, and so why do you speak vain things without a reason?

13 ੧੩ “ਇਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਾਲਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਰਸਾ, ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਇਹੋ ਹੀ ਹੈ।

This is the portion of the impious man with God, and the inheritance of the violent, which they will receive from the Almighty.

14 ੧੪ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਰੋਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਾ ਰੱਜੇਗੀ।

If his sons should happen to increase, they will be for the sword, and his grandsons will not be satisfied with bread.

15 ੧੫ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕ ਮਰ ਕੇ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਧਵਾਵਾਂ ਨਾ ਰੋਣਗੀਆਂ।

Whatever will remain of him will be buried in the ruins, and his widows will not weep.

16 ੧੬ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਧੂੜ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੇ ਢੇਰ ਲਾ ਲਵੇ, ਅਤੇ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੇ ਢੇਰਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਬਸਤਰ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰੇ,

If he will amass silver as if it were dirt and fabricate garments as if they were clay,

17 ੧੭ ਉਹ ਤਿਆਰ ਤਾਂ ਕਰਾਵੇਗਾ ਪਰ ਧਰਮੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਉਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਬੇਦੋਸ਼ੇ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡ ਲੈਣਗੇ।

then yes, he will gather, but the just will be clothed with it and the innocent will divide the silver.

18 ੧੮ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਘਰ ਮੱਕੜੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਝੌਂਪੜੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਰਾਖ਼ਾ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

He has built his house like a moth, and he has made a makeshift shelter like a sentry.

19 ੧੯ ਉਹ ਧਨੀ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਲੰਮਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਕੁਝ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ,

When he falls asleep, the rich man will leave him with nothing; he will open his eyes and find nothing.

20 ੨੦ ਭੈਅ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਆ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਤੂਫ਼ਾਨ ਰਾਤ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਡਾ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

Destitution will surround him like water; a storm will overwhelm him in the night.

21 ੨੧ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਹਵਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਚਲਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੂੰਝ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

A burning wind will pick him up and carry him away, and, like a whirlwind, it will rush him from his place.

22 ੨੨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਰਸ ਖਾਧੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਨੱਠੇਗਾ।

And it will hurl over him and will not spare him; fleeing from its power, he will go into exile.

23 ੨੩ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਤਾੜੀਆਂ ਵਜਾਉਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਫੁੰਕਾਰਨਗੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਰਹਿ ਸਕੇਗਾ।”

He will clasp his hands over himself, and he will hiss at himself, while considering his situation.
