1 ਰਾਜਿਆਂ 4
And king Solomon reigned over Israel.
And these [are] the princes which he had; Azarias son of Sadoc.
Eliaph, and Achia son of Seba, scribes; and Josaphat son of Achilud, recorder.
And Banaeas son of Jodae over the host; and Sadoc and Abiathar [were] priests.
5 ੫ ਨਾਥਾਨ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਜ਼ਰਯਾਹ ਭੰਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਥਾਨ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜ਼ਾਬੂਦ ਜਾਜਕ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਸੀ,
And Ornia the son of Nathan [was] over the officers; and Zabuth son of Nathan [was] the king's friend.
6 ੬ ਅਹੀਸ਼ਾਰ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਬਦਾ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਦੋਨੀਰਾਮ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੀ ਜਿੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਧੱਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ।
And Achisar was steward, and Eliac the [chief] steward; and Eliab the son of Saph [was] over the family: and Adoniram the son of Audon over the tribute.
7 ੭ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਾਰਾਂ ਭੰਡਾਰੀ ਠਹਿਰਾਏ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਲਈ ਰਸਤ ਲਿਆਉਣ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ-ਇੱਕ ਜਣਾ ਸਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਰਸਤ ਲਿਆਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ।
And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, to provide for the king and his household; each one's turn came to supply for a month in the year.
And these [were] their names: Been the son of Or in the mount of Ephraim, one.
The son of Dacar, in Makes, and in Salabin, and Baethsamys, and Elon as far as Bethanan, one.
The son of Esdi in Araboth; his [was] Socho, and all the land of Opher.
All Nephthador [belonged to] the son of Aminadab, Tephath daughter of Solomon was his wife, one.
12 ੧੨ ਅਹੀਲੂਦ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਬਆਨਾ ਤਆਨਾਕ, ਮਗਿੱਦੋ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਬੈਤ ਸ਼ਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਾਰਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਿਜ਼ਰਏਲ ਦੀ ਨਿਵਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ ਬੈਤ ਸ਼ਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਅਬੇਲ - ਮਹੋਲਾਹ ਤੱਕ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕਮਆਮ ਦੇ ਪਾਰ ਤੱਕ;
Bana son of Achiluth [had] Ithaanach, and Mageddo, and [his was] the whole house of San which was by Sesathan below Esrae, and from Bethsan as far as Sabelmaula, as far as Maeber Lucam, one.
13 ੧੩ ਬਨ ਗਬਰ ਰਾਮੋਥ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਾਈਰ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਜੋ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਰਗੋਬ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੋ ਬਾਸ਼ਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸੱਠ ਵੱਡੇ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਪਨਾਹ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਿੱਤਲ ਦੇ ਅਰਲਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਨ;
The son of Naber in Raboth Galaad, to him [fell] the lot of Ergab in Basan, sixty great cities with walls, and brazen bars, one.
Achinadab son of Saddo, [had] Maanaim.
Achimaas [was] in Nephthalim, and he took Basemmath daughter of Solomon to wife, one.
Baana son of Chusi, in Aser and in Baaloth, one,
Josaphat son of Phuasud [was] in Issachar.
Semei son of Ela, in Benjamin.
19 ੧੯ ਊਰੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਗਬਰ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋ ਅਮੋਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀਹੋਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਸ਼ਾਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਓਗ ਦਾ ਦੇਸ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਦੇਸ ਦਾ ਉਹ ਇਕੱਲਾ ਸ਼ਾਸਕ ਸੀ।
Gaber son of Adai in the land of Gad, [the land] of Seon king of Esebon, and of Og king of Basan, and one officer in the land of Juda.
20 ੨੦ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਉਸ ਰੇਤ ਦੇ ਢੇਰ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਨ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਖਾਂਦੇ-ਪੀਂਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੰਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।
And thus the officers provided king Solomon: and [they execute] every one in his month all the orders for the table of the king, they omit nothing.
21 ੨੧ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਫ਼ਰਾਤ ਦਰਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀਨ ਤੱਕ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਹੱਦ ਤੱਕ। ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਜ਼ਰਾਨੇ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦਿਨ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ।
And they carried the barley and the straw for the horses and the chariots to the place where the king might be, each according to his charge.
22 ੨੨ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਰਸਤ ਸੀ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਛੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਛੇ ਸੌ ਕਿੱਲੋ ਮੈਦਾ, ਤੇਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੋ ਸੌ ਕਿੱਲੋ ਆਟਾ,
And these [were] the requisite supplies for Solomon: in one day thirty measures of fine flour, and sixty measures of fine pounded meal,
23 ੨੩ ਦਸ ਮੋਟੇ ਬਲ਼ਦ ਅਤੇ ਚਰਾਈ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਵੀਹ ਬਲ਼ਦ, ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਚਿਕਾਰੇ, ਹਿਰਨ, ਪਾਹੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਟੇ-ਮੋਟੇ ਕੁੱਕੜ।
and ten choice calves, and twenty pastured oxen, and a hundred sheep, besides stags, and choice fatted does.
24 ੨੪ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਦਰਿਆ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਪਾਸੇ ਤਿਫਸਹ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅੱਜ਼ਾਹ ਤੱਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜੋ ਦਰਿਆ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਪਾਸੇ ਸਨ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਸਨ ਸੁਲਾਹ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਸੀ।
For he had dominion on this side the river, and he was at peace on all sides round about.
25 ੨੫ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਗੂਰ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਹੰਜ਼ੀਰ ਦੇ ਹੇਠ, ਦਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬਏਰਸ਼ਬਾ ਤੱਕ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਬੈਠਦਾ ਸੀ।
27 ੨੭ ਇਹ ਰਜਵਾੜੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਭਰ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੰਗਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਖਾਂਦੇ, ਰਸਤ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਚੀਜ਼ ਦੀ ਕਮੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਸਨ।
28 ੨੮ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਲ਼ਦਾਂ ਲਈ ਜੌਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੜੀ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਇਹ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਓਥੋਂ ਇੱਕ-ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਰਜਾਦਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਲਿਆਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ।
29 ੨੯ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਝ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਵੱਧ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਮਨ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਦੀ ਰੇਤ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ
And the Lord gave understanding to Solomon, and very much wisdom, and enlargement of heart, as the sand on the seashore.
And Solomon abounded greatly beyond the wisdom of all the ancients, and beyond all the wise men of Egypt.
31 ੩੧ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਏਥਾਨ ਅਜ਼ਰਾਹੀ, ਹੇਮਾਨ, ਮਾਹੋਲ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਕਲਕੋਲ ਅਤੇ ਦਰਦਾ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਨ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਸੀ।
And he was wiser than all [other] men: and he was wiser than Gaethan the Zarite, and [than] Aenan, and [than] Chalcad and Darala the son of Mal.
And Solomon spoke three thousand proverbs, and his songs were five thousand.
33 ੩੩ ਉਹ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੀ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਦਿਆਰ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜੋ ਲਬਾਨੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਜੂਫ਼ੇ ਤੱਕ ਜੋ ਕੰਧਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਉੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਛੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਘਿੱਸਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੋਲਿਆ।
And he spoke of trees, from the cedar in Libanus even to the hyssop which comes out through the wall: he spoke also of cattle, and of birds, and of reptiles, and of fishes.
34 ੩੪ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਜਾਤੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਸੁਣਨ ਲਈ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ।
And all the nations came to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and [ambassadors] from all the kings of the earth, as many as heard of his wisdom.
