ଗୀତସଂହିତା 129

1 ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଆରୋହଣ ଗୀତ। “ମୋʼ ଯୌବନଠାରୁ ମୋʼ ର ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ଅନେକ ଥର ମୋତେ କ୍ଳେଶ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଏବେ କୁହନ୍ତୁ;

Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say:

2 ମୋʼ ଯୌବନଠାରୁ ସେମାନେ ଅନେକ ଥର ମୋତେ କ୍ଳେଶ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି; ତଥାପି ସେମାନେ ମୋʼ ଉପରେ ଜୟୀ ହୋଇ ନାହାନ୍ତି।

Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me.

3 କୃଷକମାନେ ମୋʼ ପୃଷ୍ଠଦେଶରେ ହଳ ବୁଲାଇଲେ; ସେମାନେ ଲମ୍ବ ଲମ୍ବ ଶିଆର କଲେ।”

The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows.

4 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଧର୍ମମୟ; ସେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କ ଦାସତ୍ଵରୁ ମୋତେ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।

Yhwh is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.

5 ସିୟୋନକୁ ଘୃଣା କରିବା ଲୋକ ସମସ୍ତେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହୋଇ ହଟି ଯାଉନ୍ତୁ।

Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.

6 ସେମାନେ ଗୃହର ଛାତ ଉପରିସ୍ଥ ସେହି ତୃଣ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ, ଯାହା ବଢ଼ିବା ପୂର୍ବେ ଶୁଷ୍କ ହୁଏ;

Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up:

7 ଯଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା କଟାଳି ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ, ଅବା ବିଡ଼ାବନ୍ଧନକାରୀ ଆପଣା ଅଣ୍ଟି ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରେ ନାହିଁ।

Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom.

8 “କିଅବା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ବର୍ତ୍ତୁ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରୁଅଛୁ,” ଏହା ପଥିକମାନେ କହନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।

Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of Yhwh be upon you: we bless you in the name of Yhwh.
