Esekiel 34
1 Og Herrens ord kom til meg; han sagde:
And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
2 Menneskjeson! Spå mot Israels hyrdingar! Spå og seg med deim, med hyrdingarne: So segjer Herren, Herren: Usæle Israels hyrdingar som røktar seg sjølve! Er det ikkje hjordi hyrdingen skal røkta?
and he seide, Sone of man, profesie thou of the schepherdis of Israel, profesie thou; and thou schalt seie to the schepherdis, The Lord God seith these thingis, Wo to the schepherdis of Israel, that fedden hym silf; whether flockis ben not fed of schepherdis?
3 Feita et de, og med ulli klæder de dykk, og det gjødde slagtar de; hjordi gjæter de ikkje.
Ye eeten mylk, and weren hilid with wollis, and ye killiden that that was fat; but ye fedden not my floc.
4 Det veike hev de ikkje styrkt, og det sjuke hev de ikkje lækt, det beinbrotne hev de ikkje bunde um, og det burtdrivne hev de ikkje sanka, og det burtkomne hev de ikkje leita upp, men de hev fare hardt fram mot deim og med vald.
Ye maden not sad that that was vnstidfast, and ye maden not hool that that was sijk; ye bounden not that that was brokun, and ye brouyten not ayen that that was cast awei, and ye souyten not that that perischide; but ye comaundiden to hem with sturnenesse, and with power.
5 Og dei vart spreidde, av di dei var hyrdinglause, og dei vart til føda åt kvart villdyr på marki, og spreidde vart dei.
And my scheep weren scaterid, for no sheepherde was; and thei weren maad in to deuouryng of alle beestis of the feeld, and thei weren scaterid.
6 Forvilla fer sauerne mine på alle fjell og på alle høge hamrar, og utyver alt landet er sauerne mine spreidde, og ingen spør etter deim, og ingen leitar.
My flockis erriden in alle mounteyns, and in ech hiy hil, and my flockis weren scaterid on al the face of erthe, and noon was that souyte.
7 Difor, de hyrdingar, høyr Herrens ord!
Therfor, scheepherdis, here ye the word of the Lord;
8 So sant som eg liver, segjer Herren, sanneleg, etter di sauerne mine er vorte til eit ran, ja, sauerne mine er vortne til føda for åt kvart villdyr på marki, og hyrdingarne mine ikkje spurde etter sauerne mine, men hyrdingarne røkta seg sjølve og ikkje røkta sauerne mine -
Y lyue, seith the Lord God, for whi for that that my flockis ben maad in to raueyn, and my scheep in to deuouryng of alle beestis of the feeld, for that that no scheepherde was, for the scheepherdis souyten not my floc, but the scheepherdis fedden hem silf, and fedden not my flockis; therfor,
9 difor, de hyrdingar, høyr Herrens ord!
scheepherdis, here ye the word of the Lord,
10 So segjer Herren, Herren: Sjå, eg vil finna hyrdingarne og krevja sauerne mine av deira hand og taka frå deim gjætsla, so hyrdingarne ikkje lenger skal røkta seg sjølve. Og eg vil berga sauerne mine frå deira munn, so dei ikkje skal verta til føda åt deim.
The Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y my silf am ouer scheepherdis; Y schal seke my floc of the hond of hem, and Y schal make hem to ceesse, that thei fede no more my flok, and that the scheepherdis feede no more hem silf. And Y schal delyuere my floc fro the mouth of hem, and it schal no more be in to mete to hem.
11 For so segjer Herren, Herren: Sjå, her er eg sjølv, og eg vil spyrja etter sauerne mine og sjå til deim.
For the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y my silf schal seke my scheep, and Y schal visite hem.
12 Likeins som ein hyrding ser til si hjord den dagen han er millom dei spreidde sauerne sine, soleis vil eg sjå til sauerne mine. Og eg vil berga deim frå alle stader der dei er spreidde på ein dag med skyer og myrkeskodda.
As a scheepherde visitith his floc, in the dai whanne he is in the myddis of hise scheep `that ben scaterid, so Y schal visite my scheep; and Y schal delyuere hem fro alle places in whiche thei weren scaterid, in the dai of cloude, and of derknesse.
13 Og eg vil føra deim ut ifrå folkeslagi og sanka deim ut or landi, og føra deim til deira eige land; og eg vil gjæta deim i Israelsfjelli, i dalarne og på alle bustader i landet.
And Y schal leede hem out of puplis, and Y schal gadere hem fro londis, and Y schal brynge hem in to her lond, and Y schal feede hem in the hillis of Israel, in ryueris, and in alle seetis of erthe.
14 I ei god gjætslemark vil eg gjæta deim, og i Israels høge fjell skal deira hamning vera. Der skal dei roa seg i ei god hamning og ganga i feit beitemark i Israelsfjelli.
Y schal feede hem in moost plenteouse pasturis, and the lesewis of hem schulen be in the hiy hillis of Israel; there thei schulen reste in greene eerbis, and in fatte lesewis thei schulen be fed on the hillis of Israel.
15 Eg sjølv vil gjæta sauerne mine, og eg vil få deim til å roa seg, segjer Herren, Herren.
Y schal fede my scheep, and Y schal make hem to ligge, seith the Lord God.
16 Det burtkomne vil eg leita upp, og det burtdrivne vil eg sanka, og det beinbrotne vil eg binda um, og det sjuke vil eg styrkja. Men det feite og det sterke vil eg tyna; rett vil eg røkta deim.
I schal seke that that perischide, and Y schal brynge ayen that that was cast awei; and Y schal bynde that that was brokun, and Y schal make sad that that was sijk; and Y schal kepe that that was fat and strong; and Y schal feede hem in doom;
17 Og de, sauerne mine - so segjer Herren, Herren -: Sjå, eg dømer millom sauer og sauer, millom verar og bukkar.
forsothe ye ben my flockis. The Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y deme bitwixe beeste and beeste, and a wethir and a buc of geet.
18 Er det ikkje nok åt dykk å ganga i det beste beite, sidan de trakkar ned med føterne det som stend att på beitet dykkar? Er det ikkje nok at de drikk det klåraste vatnet, sidan de rotar upp med føterne det som er att?
Whether it was not enowy to you to deuoure good pasturis? Ferthermore and ye defouliden with youre feet the remenauntis of youre lesewis, and whanne ye drunken clereste watir, ye disturbliden the residue with youre feet.
19 Og sauerne mine, dei lyt eta det som de hev trakka med føterne, og drikka det de hev rota upp med føterne.
And my scheep weren fed with tho thingis that weren defoulid with youre feet; and thei drunken these thingis, that youre feet hadden troblid.
20 Difor, so segjer Herren, Herren med deim: Sjå, her er eg sjølv, og eg vil døma millom dei feite sauerne og dei magre sauerne.
Therfor the Lord God seith these thingis to you, Lo! Y my silf deme bitwixe a fat beeste and a leene beeste.
21 Etter di de trengjer alle dei veike undan med sida og bog og stangar deim med horni dykkar, til de fær spreidt deim og jaga deim av,
For that that ye hurliden with sidis, and schuldris, and wyndewiden with youre hornes alle sike beestis, til tho weren scaterid withoutforth, I schal saue my floc,
22 so vil eg berga sauerne mine, og dei skal ikkje lenger vera til ran, og eg vil døma millom sauer og sauer.
and it schal no more be in to raueyn. And Y schal deme bitwixe beeste and beeste;
23 Og eg vil reisa upp ein einaste hyrding yver deim, og han skal gjæta deim, min tenar David. Han skal gjæta deim, og han skal vera deira hyrding.
and Y schal reise on tho o sheepherde, my seruaunt Dauid, that schal fede tho; he schal fede tho, and he schal be `in to a sheepherde to hem.
24 Eg, Herren, skal vera deira Gud, og min tenar David skal vera fyrste millom deim. Eg, Herren, hev tala.
Forsothe Y the Lord schal be in to God to hem, and my seruaunt Dauid schal be prince in the myddis of hem; Y the Lord spak.
25 Og eg vil gjera ei fredspakt med deim og rydja ut udyr or landet, so dei trygt kann bu i øydemarki og sova i skogarne.
And Y schal make with hem a couenaunt of pees, and Y schal make worste beestis to ceesse fro erthe; and thei that dwellen in desert, schulen slepe sikur in forestis.
26 Og til ei velsigning vil eg gjera deim og landet rundt ikring min haug, eg vil lata det regna i rett tid, eit regn til velsigning skal det vera.
And Y schal sette hem blessyng in the cumpas of my litle hil, and Y schal lede doun reyn in his tyme. And reynes of blessyng schulen be,
27 Og trei på marki skal gjeva si frukt, og jordi skal gjeva si grøda, og dei skal hava det trygt i landet sitt. Og dei skal sanna at eg er Herren, når eg bryt sund stengerne i oket deira, og frelsar deim frå deira hender som trælka deim.
and the tre of the feeld schal yyue his fruyt, and the erthe schal yyue his seed. And thei schulen be in her lond with out drede; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord, whanne Y schal al to-breke the chaynes of her yok, and schal delyuere hem fro the hond of hem that comaunden to hem.
28 Og dei skal ikkje lenger vera eit ran for folki, og villdyri i landet skal ikkje eta deim upp. Men trygt skal dei bu, og ingen skal skræma deim.
And thei schulen no more be in to raueyn in to hethene men, nether the beestis of erthe schulen deuoure hem, but thei schulen dwelle tristili with outen ony drede.
29 Og eg vil laga til ein namngjeten plantehage åt deim, og dei skal aldri meir verta burtrykte av hunger i landet, og aldri meir skal dei tola hæding frå heidningfolki.
And Y schal reise to hem a iust buriownyng named; and thei schulen no more be maad lesse for hunger in erthe, and thei schulen no more bere the schenschipis of hethene men.
30 Og dei skal sanna at eg, Herren, deira Gud, er med deim, og at dei, Israels-lyden, er mitt folk, segjer Herren, Herren.
And thei schulen wite, that Y am her Lord God with hem, and thei ben my puple, the hous of Israel, seith the Lord God.
31 Og de, sauerne mine, sauerne som eg beiter, menneskje er de. Eg er dykkar Gud segjer, Herren, Herren.
Forsothe ye my flockis ben men, the flockis of my lesewe; and Y am youre Lord God, seith the Lord God.
