ဆာလံ 8

1 ၁ အိုအကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ ဘုရားရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား၊ နာမ တော်သည် မြေကြီးတပြင်လုံး၌ အလွန်ကြီးမြတ်တော်မူ ၏။ ဘုန်းအာနုဘော်တော်သည် မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်ပေါ်မှာ တည်လျက်ရှိပါ၏။

For the leader: A psalm of David, to be accompanied by a stringed instrument. Lord our God! How glorious in all the earth is your name! Your praise reaches as high as the heavens,

2 ၂ ကိုယ်တော်၏ရန်သူတို့ကို ရည်ဆောင်၍ ရန်သူ ကို၎င်း၊ အငြိုးထားသောသူကို၎င်း၊ တိတ်ဆိတ်စွာနေစေ ခြင်းငှါ၊ နို့စို့သူငယ်တို့၏နှုတ်ထဲမှ အစွမ်းသတ္တိကို စီရင် တော်မူ၏။

from the mouths of children and infants. You have built a fortress against your enemies, to silence the foe and the rebel.

3 ၃ လက်ညှိုးတော်အလုပ်တည်းဟူသော ကိုယ်တော် ၏ မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်ကို၎င်း၊ ပြင်ဆင်တော်မူသောလနှင့် ကြယ်များကို၎င်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ဆင်ခြင်သော်၊

When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set there,

4 ၄ လူသည် အဘယ်သို့သော သူဖြစ်၍၊ ကိုယ်တော် သည် အောက်မေ့တော်မူရသနည်း။ လူသားသည် အဘယ်သို့သော သူဖြစ်၍ အကြည့်အရှု ကြွလာတော်မူရ သနည်း။ သူ့ကို ကောင်းကင်တမန်တို့အောက်၌ အနည်း ငယ်နှိမ့်တော်မူပြီ။

what are mortals, that you think of them, humans, that you visit them?

5 ၅ သူ၏ခေါင်းကို ဘုန်းအသရေနှင့် ပတ်ရစ်တော် မူပြီ။

Yet you made them little less than divine, crowned them with glory and majesty,

6 ၆ ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူသော အရာများကိုအုပ်စိုးစေ၍၊ သိုးနွားအစရှိသော မြေတိရစ္ဆာန်မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်ငှက်၊

made them lord of the works of your hands, put all things under their feet –

7 ၇ ပင်လယ်ငါးနှင့်ပင်လယ်လမ်း၌ သွားတတ်သောတိရစ္ဆာန် မှစ၍၊

sheep and oxen, all of them; and the wild beasts also:

8 ၈ ခပ်သိမ်းသောအရာတို့ကို သူ၏ခြေအောက်၌ ချထားတော်မူပြီ။

birds of the air, and fish of the sea, and all that crosses the paths of the ocean.

9 ၉ အိုအကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ ဘုရားရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏နာမသည် မြေကြီးတပြင်လုံး၌ အလွန်ကြီး မြတ်တော်မူသတည်း။

Lord our God! How glorious in all the earth is your name!
