တောလည်ရာ 21
1 ၁ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသည် အသရိမ်လမ်းဖြင့် လာကြသည်သိတင်းကို တောင်မျက်နှာ၌နေသော ခါနာန် အမျိုး အာရဒ်မင်းကြီးကြားလျှင်၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးကို စစ်တိုက်၍ လူအချို့တို့ကို ဘမ်းဆီးသိမ်းသွားလေ၏။
And Arad the Chananitish king who lived by the wilderness, heard that Israel came by the way of Atharin; and he made war on Israel, and carried off some of them captives.
2 ၂ ဣသရေလအမျိုးကလည်း၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ဤလူမျိုးကို အကျွန်ုပ်တို့လက်သို့ အပ်တော်မူလျှင်၊ သူတို့ မြို့များကို ရှင်းရှင်းဖျက်ဆီးပါမည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရားအား သစ္စာဂတိပြုလေ၏။
And Israel vowed a vow to the Lord, and said, If you will deliver this people into my power, I will devote it and its cities [to you].
3 ၃ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်လည်း၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ စကားကို နားထောင်၍၊ ထိုခါနာန်အမျိုးသားတို့ကို အပ်တော်မူ၏။ သူတို့နှင့် သူတို့မြို့များကို ဣသရေလ လူတို့သည် ရှင်းရှင်းဖျက်ဆီး၍၊ ထိုအရပ်ကို ဟော်မာ အမည်ဖြင့် သမုတ်ကြ၏။
And the Lord listened to the voice of Israel, and delivered the Chananite into his power; and [Israel] devoted him and his cities, and they called the name of that place Anathema.
4 ၄ ဟောရတောင်မှ ထွက်၍ ဧဒုံပြည်ကို ဝိုင်းခြင်းငှါ၊ ဧဒုံကင်လယ်လမ်းဖြင့် ချီသွားကြစဉ်၊ အသွားခက်သော ကြောင့်၊ လူများတို့သည် စိတ်အားလျော့ကြ၍၊
And having departed from mount Or by the way [leading] to the Red Sea, they compassed the land of Edom, and the people lost courage by the way.
5 ၅ သင်သည် ငါတို့ကို ဤတော၌ သေစေခြင်းငှါ၊ အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဆောင်ခဲ့သနည်း။ မုန့်မရှိ၊ ရေလည်းမရှိ၊ ဤပေါ့ပျက်သောစားစရာကိုလည်း ငါတို့သည် အလွန်ရွံရှာ၏ဟု ဘုရားသခင်နှင့် မောရှေကို ဆန့်ကျင်ဘက်ပြု၍ ဆိုကြ၏။
And the people spoke against God and against Moses, saying, Why is this? Hast you brought us ought of Egypt to kill us in the wilderness? for there is not bread nor water; and our soul loathes this light bread.
6 ၆ ထိုအခါ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုး သားတို့တွင် မီးမြွေများကို စေလွှတ်တော်မူ၍၊ လူအများ တို့သည် အကိုက်ခံရသဖြင့် သေကြ၏။
And the Lord sent amongst the people deadly serpents, and they bit the people, and much people of the children of Israel died.
7 ၇ ထိုကြောင့် လူများတို့သည် မောရှေထံသို့ လာ၍ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရားနှင့် ကိုယ်တော်ကို ဆန့် ကျင်လျက် ပြောဆို၍ ပြစ်မှားပါပြီ။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မြွေများကို အကျွန်ုပ်တို့မှ ပယ်ရှားတော်မူမည်အကြောင်း ဆုတောင်းပါဟု လျှောက်လျှင်၊ မောရှေသည် လူများအဘို့ ဆုတောင်းလေ၏။
And the people came to Moses and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord, and against you: pray therefore to the Lord, and let him take away the serpent from us.
8 ၈ ထာဝရဘုရားကလည်း၊ မီးမြွေရုပ်ကိုလုပ်၍ တိုင်ပေါ်မှာ မြှောက်ထားလော့။ အကိုက်ခံရသော သူတိုင်း ကြည့်ရှုလျှင် အသက်ချမ်းသာရလိမ့်မည်ဟု မောရှေအား မိန့်တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊
And Moses prayed to the Lord for the people; and the Lord said to Moses, Make you a serpent, and put it on a signal-[staff]; and it shall come to pass that whenever a serpent shall bite a man, every one [so] bitten that looks upon it shall live.
9 ၉ မောရှေသည် ကြေးဝါဖြင့် မြွေကို လုပ်၍ တိုင် ပေါ်မှာ မြှောက်ချီထားပြီးလျှင်၊ မြွေကိုက်သောသူမည် သည်ကား၊ ကြေးဝါမြွေကို ကြည့်ရှုသောအခါ အသက် ချမ်းသာရကြ၏။
And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a signal-[staff]: and it came to pass that whenever a serpent bit a man, and he looked on the brazen serpent, he lived.
And the children of Israel departed, and encamped in Oboth.
11 ၁၁ ဩဗုတ်အရပ်မှ ပြောင်းပြန်၍၊ နေထွက်ရာ ဘက်၊ မောဘပြည်ရှေ့တွင်ရှိသော တောမှာ၊ ဣဇာဗာရိမ် အရပ်၌ စားခန်းချကြ၏။
And having departed from Oboth, they encamped in Achalgai, on the farther side in the wilderness, which is opposite Moab, towards the east.
And thence they departed, and encamped in the valley of Zared.
13 ၁၃ ထိုအရပ်မှ တဖန်ပြောင်းပြန်၍၊ အာမောရိပြည် နယ်နှင့် စပ်သော တော၌ရှိသော အာနုန်ချောင်းနား တဘက်တချက်၌ စားခန်းချကြ၏။ အာနုန်ချောင်းကား၊ မောဘပြည်၊ အာမောရိပြည်စပ်ကြားအပိုင်းအခြား ဖြစ်သတည်း။
And they departed thence and encamped on the other side of Arnon in the wilderness, [the country] which extends from the coasts of the Amorites; for Arnon is the borders of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites.
Therefore it is said in a book, A war of the Lord has set on fire Zoob, and the brooks of Arnon.
And he has appointed brooks to cause Er to dwell [there]; and it lies near to the coasts of Moab.
16 ၁၆ အာနုန်ချောင်းမှ ဗေရရေတွင်းသို့ ခရီးသွားကြ၏။ ထိုရေတွင်းကား အခြားမဟုတ်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားက၊ လူများကို စုဝေးစေလော့၊ ရေကို ငါပေးမည်ဟု မောရှေအား မိန့်တော်မူရာ၌ ရည်ဆောင်သော ရေတွင်းဖြစ် သတည်း။
And thence [they came to] the well; this [is] the well of which the Lord said to Moses, Gather the people, and I will give them water to drink.
Then Israel sang this song at the well, Begin [to sing] of the well;
18 ၁၈ တရားမင်းစီရင်သည်အတိုင်း၊ မှူးမတ်တို့သည် ရေတွင်းကို တူးကြပြီ။ လူတို့တွင် အကဲအမှူးတို့သည် တောင်ဝေးတို့နှင့် ရေတွင်းကို တူးကြပြီဟု သီခြင်း ဆိုလေ၏။
the princes digged it, the kings of the nations in their kingdom, in their lordship sank it in the rock: and [they went] from the well to Manthanain,
19 ၁၉ ထိုတောမှ မတ္တနာအရပ်သို့၎င်း၊ မတ္တနာအရပ်မှ နဟာလျေလအရပ်သို့၎င်း၊ နဟာလျေလအရပ်မှ ဗာမုတ် အရပ်သို့၎င်း၊
and from Manthanain to Naaliel, and from Naaliel to Bamoth, and from Bamoth to Janen, which is in the plain of Moab [as seen] from the top of the quarried [rock] that looks towards the wilderness.
20 ၂၀ ဗာမုတ်အရပ်မှ မောဘချိုင့်သို့၎င်း၊ ယေရှိမုန်မြို့ကို မျက်နှာပြုသော ပိသဂါတောင်ထိပ်သို့၎င်း ခရီးသွား ကြ၏။
And Moses sent ambassadors to Seon king of the Amorites, with peaceful words, saying,
We will pass through your land, we will go by the road; we will not turn aside to the field or to the vineyard.
22 ၂၂ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် မင်းကြီးပြည်အလယ်၌ ရှောက်၍ သွားပါရစေ။ လယ်ယာသို့၎င်း၊ စပျစ်ဥယျာဉ် သို့၎င်း မဝင်ပါ။ တွင်းရေကိုလည်း မသောက်ပါ။ မင်းကြီး ပြည်ကို မလွန်မှီတိုင်အောင်၊ မင်းလမ်းသို့သာ ရှောက် လိုက်ပါမည်ဟု အခွင့်တောင်းကြ၏။
We will not drink water out of your well; we will go by the king's highway, until we have past your boundaries.
23 ၂၃ ထိုပြည်အလယ်၌ ရှောက်သွားရသော အခွင့်ကို၊ ရှိဟုန်မင်းသည် ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့အား မပေး။ မိမိလူအပေါင်းတို့ကို စုဝေးစေ၍၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသား တို့ကို ဆီးတားခြင်းငှါ၊ သူတို့ရှိရာတောသို့ ထွက်၍ ယာဟတ်မြို့သို့ ရောက်ပြီးလျှင် စစ်တိုက်လေ၏။
And Seon did not allow Israel to pass through his borders, and Seon gathered all his people, and went out to set the battle in array against Israel into the wilderness; and he came to Jassa, and set the battle in array against Israel.
24 ၂၄ ထိုမင်းကို၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့သည် ထား နှင့် လုပ်ကြံ၍၊ အာနုန်ချောင်းမှသည် ယဗ္ဗုတ်ချောင်း တိုင်အောင်၎င်း၊ အမ္မုန်အမျိုးသား နေရာတိုင်အောင်၎င်း၊ ထိုမင်းပိုင်သော မြေကို သိမ်းယူကြ၏။ အမ္မုန်အမျိုးသား နေရာ နယ်စပ်ကား အားကြီး၏။
And Israel struck him with the slaughter of the sword, and they became possessors of his land, from Arnon to Jaboc, as far as the children of Amman, for Jazer is the borders of the children of Amman.
25 ၂၅ ထိုသို့ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့သည်၊ ဟေရှဘုန် မြို့မှစ၍ အာမောရိအမျိုးသားနေသော မြို့ရွာရှိသမျှ တို့ကို သိမ်းယူ၍ နေကြ၏။
And Israel took all their cities, and Israel lived in all the cities of the Amorites, in Esebon, and in all cities belonging to it.
26 ၂၆ ဟေရှဘုန်မြို့ကား၊ မောဘပြည်ကို အစိုးရသော အရင်ရှင်ဘုရင်နှင့် စစ်တိုက်၍ အာနုန်ချောင်းတိုင် အောင် ပြည်ကို လုယူသော အာမောရိရှင်ဘုရင် ရှိဟုန် မင်းနေသောမြို့ ဖြစ်သတည်း။
For Esebon is the city of Seon king of the Amorites; and he before fought against the king of Moab, and they took all his land, from Aroer to Arnon.
27 ၂၇ ထိုအကြောင်းကို ရည်ဆောင်၍ လင်္ကာဆရာတို့ က၊ ဟေရှဘုန်မြို့သို့ သွား၍ တဖန်တည်ကြစို့။ ရှိဟုန် ဘုရင်နေသောမြို့ကို ပြင်ဆင်ကြစို့။
Therefore say they who deal in dark speeches, Come to Esebon, that the city of Seon may be built and prepared.
28 ၂၈ ရှိဟုန်ဘုရင်နေရာ ဟေရှဘုန်မြို့မှ မီးလျှံထွက် ၍ မောဘပြည်အာရမြို့နှင့်တကွ၊ အာနုန်ချောင်းနား၊ မြင့်သောအရပ်၌ အစိုးရသော မင်းတို့ကို လောင်လေပြီ။
For a fire has gone forth from Esebon, a flame from the city of Seon, and has consumed as far as Moab, and devoured the pillars of Arnon.
29 ၂၉ အိုမောဘပြည်၊ သင်သည် အမင်္ဂလာရှိ၏။ အိုခေမုရှတပည့်တို့၊ သင်တို့သည် အကျိုးနည်းကြပြီ။ ပြေး ရသော မိမိသားသမီးတို့ကို အာမောရိရှင်ဘုရင်ရှိဟုန် လက်သို့ ရောက်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ ထိုဘုရားသည် အခွင့်ပေးပြီ တကား။
Woe to you, Moab; you are lost, you people of Chamos: their sons are sold for preservation, and their daughters are captives to Seon king of the Amorites.
30 ၃၀ တဖန် ငါတို့သည် အာမောရိသားတို့ကို တိုက် ပြန်သောကြောင့်၊ ဟေရှဘုန်ပြည်သည် ဒိဘုန်မြို့တိုင် အောင် ပျက်လေပြီ။ မေဒဘမြို့နှင့် နီးစပ်သော နောဖာ မြို့တိုင်အောင် သူတို့ကို သုတ်သင်ပယ်ရှင်းကြပြီဟု ဆိုသတည်း။
And their seed shall perish [from] Esebon to Daebon; and their women have yet farther kindled a fire against Moab.
And Israel lived in all the cities of the Amorites.
32 ၃၂ မောရှေသည်လည်း၊ ယာဇာမြို့ကို စူးစမ်းခြင်းငှါ လူကို စေလွှတ်ပြီးလျှင်၊ ထိုမြို့ရွာတို့ကို သိမ်းယူ၍ အရင် နေသော အာမောရိအမျိုးသားတို့ကို နှင်ထုတ်ကြ၏။
And Moses sent to spy out Jazer; and they took it, and its villages, and cast out the Amorite that lived there.
33 ၃၃ တဖန် ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့သည် လှည့်၍၊ ဗာရှန်ပြည်သို့ ခရီးသွားကြ၏။ ဗာရှန်ရှင်ဘုရင်ဩဃ သည်၊ မိမိလူအပေါင်းတို့နှင့် ဧဒြိအရပ်မှာ စစ်တိုက်ခြင်းငှါ ချီသွား၏။
And having returned, they went up the road thhebraismat leads to Basan; and Og the king of Basan went forth to meet them, and all his people to war to Edrain.
34 ၃၄ ထာဝရဘုရားကလည်း၊ သူ့ကို မကြောက်နှင့်။ သူနှင့်တကွ သူ၏လူအပေါင်းကို၎င်း၊ သူ၏မြေကို၎င်း၊ သင့်လက်၌ ငါအပ်ပေးပြီ။ ဟေရှဘုန်မြို့နေ အာမောရိ ရှင်ဘုရင်ရှိဟုန်ကို ပြုသကဲ့သို့၊ ဤမင်းကိုလည်း ပြုရမည် ဟု မောရှေအား မိန့်တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊
And the Lord said to Moses, Fear him not; for I have delivered him and all his people, and all his land, into your hands; and you shall do to him as you did to Seon king of the Amorites, who lived in Esebon.
And he struck him and his sons, and all his people, until he left none of his to be taken alive; and they inherited his land.
