ဆာလံ 4
1 ၁ အကျွန်ုပ် ကိုဖြောင့်မတ် စေတော်မူသောဘုရား ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ခေါ် သောအခါ နားထောင် တော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ် သည်ဆင်းရဲ စဉ်တွင် ကိုယ်တော်သည် ချမ်းသာပေးတော်မူပါပြီ။ ယခုလည်းသနား ၍ အကျွန်ုပ် ၏ ပဌနာ စကား ကို နားထောင် တော်မူပါ။
For the Chief Musician; on stringed instruments. A Psalm of David. Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness; Thou hast set me at large [when I was] in distress: Have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
2 ၂ အချင်းလူသားတို့၊ အဘယ် မျှ ကာလ ပတ်လုံး ငါ ၏ဘုန်း ကို ရှုတ်ချ ကြမည်နည်း။ အဘယ်မျှကာလပတ်လုံးအနတ္တ ကို နှစ်သက် ၍ မုသာ ကို လိုက်ရှာ ကြမည် နည်း။
O ye sons of men, how long shall my glory be turned into dishonor? [How long] will ye love vanity, and seek after falsehood? (Selah)
3 ၃ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မိမိ သန့်ရှင်း သူကို ရွေး ထား တော်မူသည်ကို သိ မှတ်ကြလော့။ ငါ ခေါ် ၍ လျှောက် သောအခါ ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် နားထောင် တော်မူလိမ့် မည်။
But know that Jehovah hath set apart for himself him that is godly: Jehovah will hear when I call unto him.
4 ၄ ကြောက်ရွံ့ တုန်လှုပ်၍ ဒုစရိုက် အပြစ်ကို ရှောင် ကြလော့။ အိပ်ရာ ပေါ် မှာ ကိုယ် စိတ် နှလုံးနှင့် ဆွေးနွေး စဉ်းစား၍ တိတ်ဆိတ် ခြင်းရှိကြလော့။
Stand in awe, and sin not: Commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. (Selah)
Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, And put your trust in Jehovah.
6 ၆ ကောင်းမွန် သော အရာကို ငါ တို့အား အဘယ် သူပြ မည်နည်းဟုမေး တတ်သော သူအများ ရှိပါသည် ဖြစ်၍၊ အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ မျက်နှာ တော်အလင်း ကို အကျွန်ုပ် တို့အပေါ် မှာ ပေါ်ထွန်း စေတော်မူပါ။
Many there are that say, Who will show us [any] good? Jehovah, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.
7 ၇ သူ တို့၌ ဆန် စပါး၊ စပျစ်ရည် ပေါ များ၍ ၊ သူ တို့ ဝမ်းမြောက် ခြင်းရှိသည်ထက် အကျွန်ုပ် ကိုသာ၍ ဝမ်းမြောက် စေတော်မူ၏။
Thou hast put gladness in my heart, More than [they have] when their grain and their new wine are increased.
8 ၈ ငြိမ်ဝပ် စွာအိပ် ၍ ပျော် ပါမည်။ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ အကျွန်ုပ် သည် လုံခြုံ စွာနေ ရသောအခွင့်ကို ကိုယ်တော် အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား သာလျှင် အခွင့်ပေးတော်မူ၏။
In peace will I both lay me down and sleep; For thou, Jehovah, alone makest me dwell in safety.
