၂ ဓမ္မရာဇဝင် 1
1 ၁ ရှောလု သေ သောနောက် ၊ ဒါဝိဒ် သည် အာမလက် လူတို့ကို လုပ်ကြံ ရာမှ ပြန် လာ၍ ၊ ဇိကလတ် မြို့၌ နှစ် ရက် နေ ပြီးလျှင်၊
It happened after the death of Saul, that David returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and he stayed two days in Ziklag.
2 ၂ သုံး ရက်မြောက်သောနေ့ တွင် လူ တယောက်သည် မိမိ အဝတ် ကိုဆုတ် လျက် ၊ မိမိ ခေါင်း ပေါ် မှာ မြေမှုန့် ကို တင်လျက်၊ ရှောလု တပ် က လာ ၍ ဒါဝိဒ် ထံသို့ ရောက် သော် ၊ မြေ ပေါ် မှာ ပြပ်ဝပ် လျက် ရှိခိုး ၏။
It happened on the third day, that, look, a man came out of the camp from Saul, with his clothes torn and dirt on his head. And it came about when he came to David that he fell to the ground and paid homage.
3 ၃ ဒါဝိဒ် ကလည်း ၊ အဘယ် အရပ်ကလာ သနည်းဟုမေး လျှင် ၊ ထိုသူက ကျွန်တော်သည် ဣသရေလ တပ် က ပြေး ၍လာပါသည်ဟု လျှောက် လေ၏။
David said to him, "Where do you come from?" He said to him, "I have escaped out of the camp of Israel."
4 ၄ ဒါဝိဒ် ကလည်း ၊ အမှု ကားအဘယ်သို့ နည်း။ ငါ့ အား ပြော ပါလော့ဟုမေး လျှင် ၊ သူက ဣသရေလလူ တို့ သည် စစ်တိုက် ရာတွင် ပြေး ၍အများ တို့သည် လဲ လျက် သေ ပါပြီ။ ရှောလု နှင့် သား တော်ယောနသန် လည်း သေ ပါပြီဟု ပြန်လျှောက် လေ၏။
David said to him, "How did it go? Please tell me." He answered, "The people have fled from the battle, and many of the people also have fallen and are dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also."
5 ၅ ထိုသိတင်းကိုကြားပြော သောလုလင် အား ဒါဝိဒ် က၊ ရှောလု နှင့် သား တော်ယောနသန် သေ ကြောင်း ကို သင်သည်အဘယ်သို့ သိ သနည်းဟုမေး ပြန်လျှင်၊
David said to the young man who had told him this, "How do you know that Saul and Jonathan his son are dead?"
6 ၆ ထိုလုလင် က၊ ကျွန်တော်သည် ဂိလဗော တောင် ပေါ် သို့ အလိုလိုရောက် သောအခါ၊ ရှောလု သည် လှံ တော်ကို ထောင်၍နေပါ၏။ ရထား စီးသူရဲ မြင်း စီးသူရဲတို့သည် ပြင်းထန်စွာလိုက် ကြ၏။
The young man who told him said, "I happened to be on Mount Gilboa and saw Saul leaning on his spear. And look, the chariots and the horsemen were closing in on him.
When he turned around he saw me, and called to me. I answered, 'Here I am.'
8 ၈ ကျွန်တော် ရှိ ပါသည်ဟု လျှောက် သောအခါ ၊ သင် သည် အဘယ်သူ နည်းဟုမေး လျှင် ၊ ကျွန်တော် သည် အာမလက် လူဖြစ်ပါသည်ဟု ပြန်လျှောက် ပါ၏။
He said to me, 'Who are you?' I answered him, 'I am an Amalekite.'
9 ၉ ရှောလုကလည်း၊ ငါ့ ထံသို့ လာ၍ ငါ့ ကိုသတ် ပါတော့။ ငါ့ အသက် မသေနိုင်သောကြောင့် ပြင်းစွာ သော ဝေဒနာကို ခံရ ၏ဟုဆို သည်အတိုင်း၊
He said to me, 'Please stand beside me, and kill me; for anguish has taken hold of me, yet there is life in me still.'
10 ၁၀ လဲ သောနောက် အသက် မ ရှင်နိုင်သည်ကို ကျွန်တော်သိ လျှင် သူ့ ထံသို့သွား၍သတ် ပါ၏။ ခေါင်း တော် ၌ ဆောင်းသောဦးရစ် နှင့် လက်ရုံး တော်၌ ဝတ်သော လက်ကောက် ကို ချွတ်ယူ ပြီးလျှင် ၊ ကျွန်တော် သခင့် ထံ တော်သို့ ဆောင် ခဲ့ပါသည်ဟု လျှောက်လေ၏။
So I stood beside him, and killed him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he had fallen. I took the crown that was on his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them here to my lord."
Then David took hold on his clothes, and tore them; and likewise all the men who were with him.
12 ၁၂ ရှောလု မှစ၍သား တော်ယောနသန် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏လူ များ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့သည် ထား ဖြင့် လဲ သေသောကြောင့် ၊ သူတို့အတွက် ညဦး တိုင်အောင် ငိုကြွေး မြည်တမ်း ၍ အစာ ကိုရှောင်ကြ၏။
They mourned, and wept, and fasted until evening, for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the LORD, and for the house of Israel; because they had fallen by the sword.
13 ၁၃ ထိုသိတင်းကိုကြား ပြောသော လုလင် အား ဒါဝိဒ် က၊ သင် သည် အဘယ် အရပ်က လာသနည်းဟုမေးလျှင် ၊ ထိုသူက ကျွန်တော် သည် တပါး အမျိုးသားအာမလက် လူ ဖြစ်ပါ၏ဟုပြန်လျှောက် သော်၊
David said to the young man who had told him, "Where are you from?" He answered, "I am the son of a foreigner, an Amalekite."
14 ၁၄ ဒါဝိဒ် က၊ ထာဝရဘုရား အခွင့်နှင့် ဘိသိက် ခံသောသူကို သတ် ခြင်းငှါ သင့် လက် ကိုအဘယ်သို့ ဆန့် ဝံ့သနည်းဟုဆို လျက်၊
David said to him, "How is it that you were not afraid to put forth your hand to destroy the LORD's anointed?"
David called one of the young men, and said, "Go near, and fall on him." He struck him, so that he died.
16 ၁၆ ဒါဝိဒ် ကလည်း ၊ သင် ၏အသွေး သည် သင့် ခေါင်း ပေါ် မှာတည်စေ။ ထာဝရဘုရား အခွင့်နှင့် ဘိသိက် ခံသောသူကို ကျွန်တော် သတ် ပါပြီဟု သင့် နှုတ် သည် သင့် တဘက် ၌ သက်သေခံ လေပြီဟုဆို ၏။
David said to him, "Your blood be on your head; for your mouth has testified against you, saying, 'I have slain the LORD's anointed.'"
And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son,
and said it should be taught to the people of Judah. Look, it is written in the book of Jashar.
"Your glory, Israel, is slain on your high places. How the mighty have fallen.
20 ၂၀ ထိုသိတင်းကို ဂါသ မြို့၌ မ ပြော ကြနှင့်။ အာရှကေလုန် မြို့လမ်း တို့၌ မ ကြား မပြောကြနှင့်။ ဖိလိတ္တိ အမျိုးသမီး တို့သည် ဝမ်းမြောက် ၍ အရေဖျား လှီးခြင်းကို မခံသော အမျိုးသမီး တို့သည် ရွှင်လန်း ကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု စိုးရိမ်စရာရှိ၏။
Do not tell it in Gath. Do not publish it in the streets of Ashkelon, lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph.
21 ၂၁ အိုဂိလဗော တောင် တို့၊ သင် တို့အပေါ် မှာ နှင်း မ ကျစေနှင့်။ မိုဃ်း မ ရွာစေနှင့်။ ပူဇော် စရာအသီးကိုသီးသော လယ်ကွက် မရှိစေနှင့်။ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ထို အရပ်၌ သူရဲ ဆောင်သော ဒိုင်း တည်းဟူသောရှောလု ဆောင်သောဒိုင်း လွှား၊ ဆီ နှင့် လိမ်း ပြီးသော လက်နက်တော်ကို ရှုတ်ချ လေပြီတကား။
You mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew nor rain on you, nor fields of offerings. For there the shield of the mighty was vilely cast away. The shield of Saul was not anointed with oil.
22 ၂၂ သူရဲတို့၏အသွေး ၊ ခွန်အား ကြီးသောသူတို့ ၏ ဆီဥ မှ ယောနသန် ၏လေး သည် နောက် သို့မ လှန်။ ရှောလု၏ထား တော်သည် ကိုယ်ချည်း ပြန် ၍ မ လာတတ်။
From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, Jonathan's bow did not turn back. Saul's sword did not return empty.
23 ၂၃ ရှောလု နှင့် ယောနသန် သည် ချစ် တတ်သောသဘောရှိ၍ အသက် ရှင်စဉ် အခါ မိတ်ဆွေဖြစ်လျက် ၊ အသက်သေ သောအခါ တယောက်နှင့် တယောက်မ ကွာ ဘဲလျက်နေကြ၏။ သူတို့သည် ရွှေလင်းတ ထက် မြန် ၍ ခြင်္သေ့ ထက် ခွန်အား ကြီးကြ၏။
Saul and Jonathan, beloved and lovely, not separated. Lovely in their life, and in their death they were not separated. They were swifter than eagles. They were stronger than lions.
24 ၂၄ အိုဣသရေလ အမျိုးသမီး တို့၊ ရှောလု ကို ငိုကြွေး ကြလော့။ သင် တို့ကို လှသော ကမ္ဗလာ နီ နှင့် ဝတ် စေ၍၊ သင် တို့အဝတ် ၌ လည်း ရွှေ တန်ဆာ နှင့် ဆင်စေတော်မူ ၏။
You daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, who clothed you luxuriously in scarlet, who put ornaments of gold on your clothing.
25 ၂၅ စစ်တိုက် ပွဲ၌ သူရဲ တို့သည် လဲ သေကြပြီ။ အို ယောနသန် ၊ သင် ၏ မြင့် သောအရပ်တို့၌ သင်သည် အသေခံ လေပြီတကား။
How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle. Jonathan is slain on your high places.
26 ၂၆ ငါ့ ညီ ယောနသန် ၊ သင့် ကြောင့် ငါ ညှိုးငယ် ခြင်းရှိ၏။ သင်သည် ငါ့ မိတ်ဆွေကြီးဖြစ်၍၊ ငါ့ ကို ချစ်သော မေတ္တာ သည် အံ့ဩဘွယ် သောမေတ္တာ၊ မိန်းမ ကို ချစ်တတ်သော မေတ္တာ ထက် သာ၍အားကြီးသောမေတ္တာဖြစ်၏။
I grieve for you, my brother Jonathan. You have been very pleasant to me. Your love for me was a wonder, more than the love of women.
How are the mighty fallen, and the weapons of war perished."
