Maliko 15
1 Lyambape, bhakulungwanji bhaabhishila, na bha lukumbi bhowe bha Lukumbi Lukulu lwa Bhayaudi, na bhanangulungwa, na bhaajiganya bha Shalia ya a Musha, gubhapetenenje. Nigubhaatabhilenje a Yeshu, gubhaapelekenje kwa a Pilato.
And as soon as ever it was light the chief priests holding a consultation with the elders and scribes, they and the whole sanhedrim, bound Jesus, and carried Him away, and delivered Him to Pilate.
2 A Pilato gubhaabhushiye a Yeshu, “Bhuli mmwe A mpalume bha Bhayaudi?” A Yeshu gubhaajangwile, “Elo, malinga shinkubheleketa.”
And Pilate asked Him, Art thou the king of the Jews? and He answered It is as thou sayst.
3 Bhakulungwanji bhaabhishila, gubhaashitakiyenje a Yeshu kwa indu yaigwinji.
And the chief priests accused Him of many things: but he answered nothing.
4 A Pilato gubhaabhushiye a Yeshu kabhili, “Bhuli nkaajangula shindu? Nnole indu yaigwinji ibhakunnugulangai.”
So Pilate asked Him again, saying, Dost thou answer nothing? See how many things they witness against thee:
5 Ikabheje a Yeshu bhangajangula shindu kabhili, a Pilato gubhakanganigwe.
but Jesus still answered nothing, so that Pilate was amazed.
6 Mobha ga shikukuu, a Pilato bhashinkukola nkubho gwa kwaugulilanga bhandu nkutabhwa jumo, jubhakumpinganga.
Now at the feast he used to release to them one prisoner, whomsoever they desired:
7 Penepo ashinkupagwa nkutabhwa jumo, ashemwaga a Bhalabha, atabhilwe pamo na ajakwenji kwa ligongo lya nnjasha yabhuleje bhandu.
and there was one Barabbas under confinement with some of his accomplices in sedition, who had committed murder in the insurrection.
8 Lugwinjili lwa bhandu gulwaajendelenje a Pilato, nikwaajuga bhaatendelanje malinga nkubho gwabho.
And the people clamoured and desired him to do as he always used to do for them.
9 A Pilato gubhaabhushiyenje, “Bhuli nnipinganga ninng'ugulilanje A mpalume bha Bhayaudi?”
But Pilate answered them, saying, Would ye have me release to you the king of the Jews?
10 Bhashinkubheleketa nneyo, pabha bhamumanyi kuti bhakulungwanji bhaabhishila, bhashikwaakamuyanga a Yeshu mmakono gabho, kwa ligongo lya lupimililo.
(for he knew that the chief priests had delivered Him up to him out of envy: )
11 Ikabheje bhakulungwanji bhaabhishila gubhaakwishiyenje bhandunji kuti, bhaajuganje a Pilato mbaya bhaaugulilanje a Bhalabha.
but the chief priests incited the people to desire that he would rather release Barabbas to them.
12 A Pilato gubhaabhushiyenje kabhili, “Bhai nkupinganga naatende nndi, bhene bhunkwaashemanga a mpalume bha Bhayaudi?”
And Pilate answered, and said to them again, What then would you have me do with Him, whom ye call king of the Jews?
13 Bhandu bhowe gubhautiyenje lilobhe bhalinkutinji, “Mwaakomele munshalabha!”
And they cried out again, Crucify Him.
14 A Pilato gubhabhushiye, “Bhalebhile nndi?” Ikabheje bhandunji bhala gubhautiyenje lilobhe, “Mwaabhambe munshalabha!”
But Pilate said unto them, Why, what ill has He done? And they cried out the more vehemently, Crucify Him.
15 Bhai a Pilato nkupinga kulunonyeya lugwinjili lwa bhandu lula, gubhaaugulilenje a Bhalabha. Gubhalajile a Yeshu bhakomwe ibhoko, gubhaakamwiyenje bhaakomelanje munshalabha.
So Pilate being willing to ingratiate with the multitude, released Barabbas to them, and having scourged Jesus, delivered Him up to be crucified.
16 Nabhalabhonji bhalinda, gubhaapelekenje a Yeshu nkati lugwani, ku ndamo ja a mpalume kwashemwaga Plaitolio, gubhaashemilenje likundi lyowe lya bhalinda.
And the soldiers led Him away into the hall, which is called the Pretorium; and gathered their whole company together:
17 Gubhaawashiyenje a Yeshu lijoo lya nnangali, gubhaeleyenje ingwa ja mibha, gubhaawashienje muntwe.
and they clad Him in purple, and platted a crown of thorns and put it on his head,
18 Penepo gubhatandwibhenje kwaakomaya kwa mbenji bhalinkutinji, “Tunakunkomaya A mpalume bha Bhayaudi!”
and saluted Him, saying, Hail king of the Jews;
19 Gubhaakomilenje na nnai muntwe, gubhaaunilenje mata, gubhaatindibhalilenje kwa mbenji.
and struck Him on the head with a reed, and spit upon Him, and bowed their knees, and did Him homage.
20 Bhakaatendelanjeje mbenji, gubhaaulilenje nngubho ja shambalau jila, nikwaawasha nngubho yabho, gubhaakopoyenje nikwaapeleka kunyenje shilambo, kukwaabhamba munshalabha.
And when they had thus abused Him, they took off the purple from Him, and put his own clothes on Him, and brought Him out to crucify Him.
21 Bhandu bhamo bha ku Kilene, lina lyabho a Shimoni, ainabhabhonji a Alekishanda na a Lupo, bhatendaga pita mpanda bhalikoposhela kunngunda. Bhai gubhaashishilishiyenje kujamula nshalabha gwa a Yeshu.
And they compel one Simon a Cyrenian, the father of Alexander and Rufus, as he was passing by, coming out of the country, to carry his cross:
22 Gubhaapelekenje a Yeshu mpaka pashemwaga Goligota, malombolelo gakwe, Shibhanga sha Ntwe.
and they brought Him to a place called Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, the place of a scull.
23 Gubhaapelenje divai jiengenywe na ntela gwa litindili ushemwa manemane, ikabheje bhangaposhela.
And they offered Him wine mingled with myrrh to drink, but He would not take it.
24 Gubhaakomelenje munshalabha, gubhagebhenyenje nngubho yabho, gubhatendilenje shikoma, kuti gani shaapate jeneji.
And when they had fastened Him to the cross, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what each of them should take.
25 Bhai, pugaaliji malanga ga shaa tatu ja lyamba pubhaabhambilenje munshalabha.
And it was the third hour, when they fixed Him on the cross:
26 Na gubhabhishilenje mmbila ja kwaalugula, jijandikwe kuti, “A MPALUME BHA BHAYAUDI.”
and the title of his charge was written over Him, THE KING OF THE JEWS.
27 Pamo na a Yeshu, bhashikunkubhambwanga bhaapokonyola bhabhili, jumo kunkono gwabho gwa nnilo na juna kunkono nshinda.
And they crucified two thieves with Him, one on his right hand and one on his left:
28 Bhai penepo, gugamalile majandiko ga a Nnungu galugula kuti, “Gubhabhishilwe nkumbi gumo na bhaalebhanga.”
so that the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, "And He was numbered with the transgressors."
29 Bhai bhandunji bhapitanganaga gwene mpandago, nikwaabhonanga a Yeshu bhali bhabhambilwe munshalabha, gubhaatukenenje akuno bhalitikinyanga mitwe jabhonji bhalinkutinji, “Ayaga! Mmwe nkukombola kubhomola Liekalu nishenga lina kwa mobha gatatu!
And they that passed by reviled Him, shaking their heads and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest, the temple,
30 Bhai nnaino mwitapule mmayene, ntulushe munshalabhamo!”
and buildest it in three days, save thyself and come down from the cross.
31 Nneyo peyo bhakulungwanji bhaabhishila na bhaajiganya bha Shalia ya a Musha, gubhaatendelenje mbenji bhalibhalanjilananga, “Bhashitapula bhananji, ikabheje bhayene bhakaakombola kwiitapula!
And the chief priests likewise scoffing at Him among themselves, with the scribes, said, He saved others, Himself He cannot save: let Christ,
32 Nkali bhene bhakomelwenje mmishalabha pamo na a Yeshu bhala, gubhaatukenenje bhalinkutinji, a Kilishitu, A mpalume bha bha Ishilaeli, nnaino bhatulushe munshalabha tulole, tukulupalile.”
the king of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe in Him. And even they that were crucified with Him, reviled Him.
33 Tandubhila malanga ga shaa shita mpaka shaa tisha, lubhindu gulutotile shilambo showe.
Now at the sixth hour there was darkness over the whole land, until the ninth hour.
34 Malanga ga shaa tisha, a Yeshu gubhautiye lilobhe bhalinkuti, “Eloi, Eloi, lama shabhakitani?” Malombolelo gakwe, “A Nnungu bhangu, a Nnungu bhangu, pakuti nshineka?”
And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani," which is being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
35 Bhai bhandu bhananji bhajimengenenje penepo gubhashitenje, “Mpilikananje, bhanakwaashema a Eliya.”
And some of them that stood by hearing it, said, Behold He calleth upon Elias.
36 Mundu jumo gwabhutwishe kutola shiponji, nilobheka nnjashama, nitabhila munnai, nikwaapa a Yeshu bhayonde akuno alinkuti, “Nnekanje, tulole monaga shibhaishe a Eliya kukwatuluya munshalabha.”
And there ran one, and filled a spunge with vinegar, and putting it on a reed offered it Him to drink, saying, Let Him alone, let us see whether Elias will come to take Him down.
37 Penepo a Yeshu gubhautiye lilobhe, gubhawile.
But Jesus cried with a loud voice and expired.
38 Bhai lipanshia likulungwa lya Nlikanisha gulipapwishe ikanje ibhili kuumila kunani mpaka pai.
And the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom.
39 Bhai bhakulungwa bha manjola bhaajimi penepo bhalikwalolesheya a Yeshu, bhakabhoneje bhaliwa shana nneyo, gubhashite, “Kweli, abha bhandubha pubhaliji Bhana bhabho a Nnungu.”
And when the centurion, that stood over against Him, saw that He expired with such a cry, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.
40 Bhai bhashinkupagwanga bhanabhakongwe bhalolangaga bhalinginji kwataliya, munkumbi gwabhonji bhapali a Malia Magidalena, na a Malia anyinabhabhonji a Yakobho, apwabho a Yoshe, na a Shalome.
There were also women at a distance looking on: among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;
41 Bhenebha ni bhalongenenje na a Yeshu ku Galilaya nibhaatumishilangaga, numbe bhapalinji bhanabhakongwe bhana bhabhagwinji, bhaikengenenje na a Yeshu ku Yelushalemu.
who also when He was in Galilee, followed Him and waited on Him: and several others who came up to Jerusalem with Him.
42 Ikaishileje ligulo, pabha pulyaaliji lyubha lya kolokoya indu ya Lyubha lya Pumulila.
And the evening being now come, (because it was the preparation,
43 A Yoshepu, bhandu bha ku Alimataya bha ishimika bha munkumbi gwa Bhalukumbi Lukulu lwa Bhayaudi, na bhalabho bhatenda lolela kuika kwa Upalume gwa a Nnungu. Bhai gubhailumile ntima, gubhaajendele a Pilato, gubhaajujile shiilu sha a Yeshu.
or the day before the sabbath, ) Joseph of Arimathea, an honorable counsellor, who also was expecting the kingdom of God, came and went in boldly to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.
44 Ikabheje a Pilato gubhakanganigwe bhakapilikaneje kuti a Yeshu bhawile. Bhai gubhaashemile bhakulungwa bha manjola bhala, gubhaabhushiye monaga a Yeshu bhawile.
But Pilate wondered that He was dead already, and therefore calling for the centurion he asked him if He had been dead any time:
45 A Pilato bhakapilikaneje kubhakulungwa bha manjola bhala kuti a Yeshu bhawile, gubhaapele a Yoshepu shiilu shila.
and when he heard it from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph.
46 Bhai a Yoshepu gubhaumile shanda ja nngubho ja alili, gubhatulwiye shiilu shila pai, gubhailijilile shanda. Gubhaashishile nnikabhuli lyaokwelwe nniganga likulungwa, gubhaingilishiye liganga likulungwa kuibhila pannango gwake.
And he bought fine linen, and took Him down, and wrapped Him in the linen, and laid Him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock; and rolled a stone to the door of the sepulchre.
47 Bhai numbe a Malia Magidalena, na a Malia anyinabhabho a Yoshe, gubhapaweninji pubhashishilwe a Yeshu.
And Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of Joses observed where He was laid.
