< Luka 24 >

1 Lyambape lyubha lya Jumapili, gubhapitengenenje kulikabhuli bhali bhajigelenje mauta ga nunjila gubhajenjilenje gala.
Very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared.
2 Gubhaimenenje liganga lya ibhila palikabhuli pala linokolelwe kunyenje likabhuli.
They found the stone rolled away from the tomb.
3 Bhakajinjilanjeje nkati, bhangashiimananga shiilu sha Bhakulungwa a Yeshu.
They entered in, but did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 Bhalinginji nkukanganigwanga ga genego, shangupe bhandunji bhabhli bhawetenje nngubho ya ng'anyima mbuti kumeta kwa nnjai, bhajimingene pa tome.
It happened that, while they were confused about this, suddenly, two men stood by them in bright shining robes.
5 Bhanabhakongwe bhala gubhajogopenje, gubhatindibhekelenje mpaka shenyi pantaka. Penepo bhandunji bhala gubhaalugulilenje, “Kwa nndi nkwaaloleyanga bhabhakoto munkumbi gwa bhawilenje?
As the women were filled with fear and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said to the women, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?
6 Bhakwapi apano, bhayushile. Nkumbushilanje shibhammalanjilenje pubhaliji ku Galilaya kuti,
He is not here, but has been raised! Remember how he spoke to you when he was still in Galilee,
7 inapinjikwa Mwana juka Mundu akamuywe mmakono ga bhandunji bhakwetenje yambi, bhankomelanje munshalabha na lyubha lya tatu shayushe.”
saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and on the third day rise again.”
8 Penepo bhanabhakongwe bhala, gubhakumbushilenje malobhe ga a Yeshu.
The women remembered his words,
9 Bhakabhujanganeje kukopoka kumakabhuli, gubhapite kwaalugulilanga ashimitume kumi na jumo bhala, na bhananji gene gowego.
and returned from the tomb, and told all these things to the eleven and all the rest.
10 Bhene bhapelekenje jene nganijo kwa ashimitume pubhalinginji, a Malia Magidalena, a Yowana na a Malia anyinabhabho a Yakobho, na bhanabhakongwe bhana bhubhalongenabhonji.
Now Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them reported these things to the apostles.
11 Ikabheje bhapilikenenje bhala, bhangakulupalilanga pabha malobhe gala bhashinkubhoneka mbuti gangali mana.
But this message seemed like idle talk to the apostles, and they did not believe the women.
12 Nkali nneyo, a Petili gubhajabhwile shibhutuka mpaka kulikabhuli. Bhakatepeje kuulumila nkati, gubhajibhwene shanda bhangashibhona shindu shina. Gubhaijabhulile akuno bhalipita kanganigwa ga yowe ikoposhele.
Yet Peter rose up and ran to the tomb, and stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths by themselves. Peter then departed to his home, wondering what had happened.
13 Lyubha lyolyo, bhandunji bhabhili munkumbi gwa bhaajiganywa bha a Yeshu, bhatendaga kwendangana kushijiji shimo shishemwa Emau, mwanja gwa maili shabha kukoposhela ku Yelushalemu.
Behold, two of them were going that very day to a village named Emmaus, which was sixty stadia from Jerusalem.
14 Bhatendaga kungulushilanga gowe gakoposhele gala.
They discussed with each other about all the things that had happened.
15 Bhalinginji nkukunguluka a Yeshu bhayene gubhakoposhele, gubhailundile.
It happened that, while they discussed and questioned together, Jesus himself approached and went with them.
16 Ikabheje meyo gabhonji gashinkugubhikwa bhanaamanyanje.
But their eyes were prevented from recognizing him.
17 Gubhaabhushiyenje, “Nkukungulushilanga nndi akuno nnikwendangana?” Gubhajimingene akuno bhainjikenje kumeyo.
Jesus said to them, “What are the two of you talking about as you walk?” They stood there looking sad.
18 Jumo ashemwa Kileopashi gwabhajangwile, “Bhuli, pa Yelushalemu mmwe jikape mmajeni nkagugamanya gakoposhele kweneko agano mobha gano?”
One of them, named Cleopas, answered him, “Are you the only person in Jerusalem who does not know the things which have happened there these days?”
19 Na bhalabho gubhabhushiye, “Gei genego?” Bhalabhonji gubhaajangulenje, “Ngani ja a Yeshu Bhanashaleti. Bhenebho pubhaliji ankulondola, bhakwete mashili gamakulungwa, kwa malobhe gabho na itendi yabho pa meyo ga a Nnungu na pabhandu bhowe.
Jesus said to them, “What things?” They answered him, “The things concerning Jesus the Nazarene, who was a prophet, mighty in deed and word before God and all the people,
20 Ashikalongolele bha bhaabhishila na ashikalongolele bhetu bhashinkwaakamulanga nikwaukumula bhabhulagwe, gubhaakomelelenje munshalabha
and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death and crucified him.
21 Ikabheje twakulupalile kuti bhenebho shibhajigombole Ishilaeli. Kupunda gene gowego, lelo lyubha lya tatu tandubhila pugatendeshe.
But we had confidence that he was the one who was going to redeem Israel. Yes, and what is more, it is now the third day since all these things happened.
22 Na kabhili bhanabhakongwe bhana bha munkumbi gwetu bhashikutuimuyanga. Bhashinkwendangana kulikabhuli lyambape,
But also, some women of our company amazed us, having been at the tomb early in the morning.
23 bhangashiimananga shiilu shabho. Gubhabhujengene gubhashitenje kuti bhashinkukoposhelwanga na ashimalaika bha kunnungu bhalugulenje kuti a Yeshu bhabhakoto.
When they did not find his body, they came, saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said that he was alive.
24 A Shaajetunji bhapitengene kulikabhuli gubhakong'ondelenje ibhalugulenje bhanabhakongwe ila, ikabheje bhangaabhonanga.”
Some men who were with us went to the tomb, and found it just as the women had said. But they did not see him.”
25 Kungai a Yeshu gubhaalugulilenje, “Pakubha mmanganya mmangumba nneyo na mitima jenunji jinatopa kukulupalila gowe galugwilwe na ashinkulondola bha a Nnungu!
Jesus said to them, “O foolish men and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!
26 Bhuli, a Kilishitu bhakapinjikweje kupotekwa, na kwa nneyo bhajinjile muukonjelo gwabho?”
Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things, and to enter into his glory?”
27 Gubhaatalashiyenje gowe gaatayaga bhenebho, Mmajandiko kutandubhila a Musha mpaka ashinkulondola bhowe bha a Nnungu.
Then beginning from Moses and through all the prophets, Jesus interpreted to them the things concerning himself in all the scriptures.
28 Bhakabhandishilanjeje shijiji shibhajendanganaga shila, a Yeshu gubhatendile mbuti bhanapunda kwenda mmujo.
As they approached the village to which they were going, Jesus acted as though he were going further.
29 Ikabheje bhanganya bhala gubhaashondelesheyenje bhalinkutinji, “Ntame pano na uwe, pabha kunapilila, na shilo shinabhandishila.” Bhai, gubhajinjile nnyumba, gubhateminabhonji.
But they compelled him, saying, “Stay with us, for it is toward evening and the day is almost over.” So Jesus went in to stay with them.
30 Bhakatameje kulya nabhonji, gubhatolile nkate, gubhatendile eja kwa a Nnungu, gubhaugebhenye, gubhaapelenje.
It happened that, when he had sat down with them to eat, he took the bread, blessed it, and breaking it, he gave it to them.
31 Shangu meyo gabhonji gakutandanukaga, gubhaamanyinji, ikabheje bhenebho gubhaobhile pa meyo gabhonji.
Then their eyes were opened, and they knew him, and he vanished out of their sight.
32 Bhai, gubhabhalanjilenenje, “Bhuli mitima jetu jikakolelaga nkwiinonyela, pubhatutalashiyaga Majandiko mumpanda mula?”
They said one to another, “Was not our heart burning within us, while he spoke to us on the way, while he opened to us the scriptures?”
33 Gubhajabhulengenenje gene malanga pegala, gubhabhujengene ku Yelushalemu. Gubhaaimenenje bhaajiganywa kumi na jumo bhala, na bhandunji bhatemingene pamo
They rose up that very hour, and returned to Jerusalem. They found the eleven gathered together, and those who were with them,
34 bhalibheleketanga, “Kweli bhakulungwa bhayushile, bhaakoposhele a Shimoni.”
saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon.”
35 Bhai, bhene bhaajiganywa bhabhili bhala gubhaalugulilenje gowe gaaimenenje mumpanda, na shibhashite kwaamanyanga a Yeshu nkugabhanya nkate.
So they told the things that happened on the way, and how Jesus was shown to them in the breaking of the bread.
36 Bhalinginji nkutalashiya genego a Yeshu bhayene gubhajimi pakati jabhonji, gubhaabhalanjilenje, “Ulele ubhe na mmanganya.”
As they spoke these things, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, “Peace be to you.”
37 Gubhaimukenje na jogopa kujila bhakulibhonanga lioka.
But they were terrified and filled with fear, and supposed that they saw a spirit.
38 Ikabheje a Yeshu gubhaabhalanjilenje, “Kwa nndi nnajogopanga? Kwa nndi nnakolanga lipamba mmitima jenunji?
Jesus said to them, “Why are you troubled? Why do questions arise in your heart?
39 Nnolanje makono na makongono gangu, kuti ni nne namwene. Mmbapayanje mmonanje, pabha lioka lyangali shiilu na maupa malinga shinkumonanga shino.”
See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me and see. For a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see me having.”
40 Bhakabheleketeje genego, Gubhaalangulenje makono na makongono gabho.
When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.
41 Bhangakulupalilanga kwa ligongo lya kwiinonyela na kanganigwa, a Yeshu gubhaabhushiyenje, “Pepano nkwetenje shalya shoshowe?”
They still could not believe it because of joy, and they were amazed. Jesus said to them, “Do you have anything to eat?”
42 Gubhaapelenje shipande sha shamaki jwa joka.
They gave him a piece of a broiled fish,
43 Gubhatolile, nigubhatawine bhowe bhalikwaalolanga.
and he took it and ate it before them.
He said to them, “When I was with you, I told you that all that was written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.”
45 Penepo, gubhaapelenje lunda lwa kugamanya Majandiko.
Then he opened their minds, that they might understand the scriptures.
46 Gubhaalugulilenje, “Ishijandikwa, kuti a Kilishitu shibhapotekwe na lyubha lya tatu shibhayushe.
He said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer, and rise again from the dead on the third day.
47 Na kuti, kwiipeta na kuleshelelwa kwa yambi shikulunguywe kupitila lina lyabho, kuumila ku Yelushalemu.
Repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
48 Mmanganya ni mmaakong'ondela bha genega.
You are witnesses of these things.
49 Nnolanje, shinimpeleshelanje miadi ja Atati, ikabheje ntamangane pano, mpaka pushinimpeleshelanje mashili ga kopoka kunnungu.”
See, I am sending you what my Father promised. But remain in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.”
50 Kungai gubhalongoyenje mpaka ku Bhetania, gubhajinwile makono gabho kunani, nigubhaajujilenje mboka.
Then Jesus led them out until they were near Bethany. He lifted up his hands and blessed them.
51 Akuno bhalikwaajujilanga mboka, gubhaaleshilenje, gubhatolilwe kunani kunnungu.
It happened that, while he was blessing them, he left them and was carried up into heaven.
52 Gubhaatindibhalilenje, nigubhabhujilengene ku Yelushalemu bhalikwinonyelanga kwa kaje.
So they worshiped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.
53 Gubhatemingenenje mobha gowe Nniekalu bhalikwainiyanga a Nnungu.
They were continually in the temple, blessing God.
