स्तोत्रसंहिता 22

1 १ प्रमुख गायकासाठी अय्येलेथ हाश्शहर (म्हणजे पहाटेची हरिणी) या रागावर बसवलेले दाविदाचे स्तोत्र. माझ्या देवा, माझ्या देवा तू मला का सोडून गेलास? मला तारायला आणि माझ्या वेदनांचा शब्द ऐकायला तू दूर का आहेस?

For the leader; set to “Deer of the Dawn”. A psalm of David. My God, my God, why have you left me, my rescue so far from the words of my roaring?

2 २ माझ्या देवा, मी तुला दिवसा हाक मारली परंतु तू उत्तर दिले नाहीस, आणि मी रात्रीही गप्प बसलो नाही.

I cry in the day, you do not answer, I cry in the night but find no rest.

3 ३ तरी तू पवित्र आहेस, जो इस्राएलाच्या स्तवनामध्ये वसतोस.

You are the Holy One, throned on the praises of Israel.

4 ४ आमच्या पूर्वजांनी तुझ्यावर विश्वास ठेवला. होय देवा, त्यांनी तुझ्यावर विश्वास ठेवला आणि तू त्यांना वाचवलेस.

In you our ancestors trusted, they trusted and you delivered them.

5 ५ देवा आमच्या पूर्वजांनी तुला मदतीसाठी आरोळी केली आणि त्यांना तू सोडवले, त्यांनी तुझ्यावर विश्वास टाकला आणि त्यांची निराशा झाली नाही.

They cried to you, and found safety, in you did they trust and were not put to shame.

6 ६ परंतू मी किटक आहे, मी मनुष्य नाही, जो मनुष्यांनी निंदिलेला आणि लोकांनी तिरस्कार केलेला आहे.

But I am a worm, not a person; insulted by others, despised by the people.

7 ७ सर्व माझ्याकडे बघणारे माझा उपहास करतात; ते माझा अपमान करतात, ते त्यांचे डोके हलवतात.

All who see me mock me, with mouths wide open and wagging heads:

8 ८ ते म्हणतात “तो परमेश्वरावर विश्वास ठेवतो, तर परमेश्वर त्यास सोडवो. त्याने त्यास वाचवावे, कारण तो त्याच्याठायी हर्ष पावतो.”

‘He relies on the Lord; let him save him. Let him rescue the one he holds dear!’

9 ९ परंतु मला उदरांतून बाहेर काढणारा तुच आहेस, मी माझ्या आईच्या स्तनांवर असता, तू मला तुझ्यावर विश्वास ठेवायला शिकवले.

But you drew me from the womb, laid me safely on my mother’s breasts.

10 १० मी गर्भातूनच तुझ्यावर सोपवून दिलेला होतो. माझ्या आईच्या उदरात असतानाच तू माझा देव आहेस.

On your care was I cast from my very birth, you are my God from my mother’s womb.

11 ११ माझ्यापासून दूर नको राहू, कारण संकट जवळच आहे. आणि मला मदत करायला कोणीही नाही.

Be not far from me, for trouble is nigh, and there is none to help.

12 १२ खुप बैलांनी मला वेढले आहे, बाशानाच्या बळकट बैलांनी मला वेढले आहे.

I am circled by many bulls, beset by the mighty of Bashan,

13 १३ जसा सिंह आपले तोंड त्याच्या भक्ष्यास फाडण्यास उघडतो, तसे त्यांनी आपले तोंड माझ्या विरूद्ध उघडले आहे.

who face me with gaping jaws, like ravening roaring lions.

14 १४ मी पाण्यासारखा ओतला जात आहे, आणि माझी सर्व हाडे निखळली आहेत. माझे हृदय मेणासारखे झाले आहे. जे माझ्या आतल्या आत विरघळले आहे.

Poured out am I like water, and all my bones are loosened. My heart is become like wax, melted within me.

15 १५ फुटलेल्या खापराप्रमाणे माझी शक्ती सुकून गेली आहे. माझी जीभ टाळूला चिकटली आहे. तू मला “मृत्यूच्या धुळीत” ठेवले आहे.

My palate is dry as a sherd, my tongue sticks to my jaws; in the dust of death you lay me.

16 १६ “कुत्री” मला वेढून आहेत, मला दुष्टांच्या घोळक्यांनी घेरले आहे. त्यांनी माझ्या हातापायाला छेदले आहे.

For dogs are round about me, a band of knaves encircles me, gnawing my hands and my feet.

17 १७ मी माझी सर्व हाडे मोजू शकतो. ते माझ्याकडे टक लावून बघतात.

I can count my bones, every one. As for them, they feast their eyes on me.

18 १८ त्यांनी माझे कपडे त्यांच्यात वाटून घेतली आहेत, आणि माझ्या कपड्यांसाठी ते चिठ्‌या टाकतात.

They divide my garments among them, and over my raiment cast lots.

19 १९ परमेश्वरा, मला सोडून जाऊ नकोस तुच माझी शक्ती हो, लवकर ये आणि मला मदत कर.

But you, O Lord, be not far, O my strength, hasten to help me.

20 २० परमेश्वरा माझे आयुष्य तलवारीपासून वाचव, माझे मौल्यवान आयुष्य त्या कुत्र्यांच्या पंज्यापासून वाचव.

Deliver my life from the sword my life from the power of the dogs.

21 २१ सिंहाच्या जबड्यापासून माझे रक्षण कर. जंगली बैलाच्या शिंगापासून माझे रक्षण कर.

Save me from the jaws of the lion, from the horns of the wild oxen help me.

22 २२ परमेश्वरा, मी माझ्या भावांना तुझे नाव सांगेन. सभेत मी तुझे गुणगान गाईन.

I will tell of your fame to my kindred, and in the assembly will praise you.

23 २३ जे लोक परमेश्वराचे भय धरतात, ते तुम्ही त्याची स्तुती करा! याकोबाच्या सर्व वंशजांनो, त्यास मान द्या! इस्राएलाच्या वंशजांनो, परमेश्वराची भीती बाळगा आणि त्याचा आदर करा.

Praise the Lord, you who fear him. All Jacob’s seed, give him glory. All Israel’s seed, stand in awe of him.

24 २४ कारण परमेश्वराने संकटात सापडलेल्यांच्या दु: खाला तुच्छ मानले नाही आणि किळस केला नाही. आणि त्यांनी आपले मुख त्यांच्यापासून लपवले नाही. जेव्हा पिडीतांनी त्यास आरोळी केली, त्याने ऐकले.

For he has not despised nor abhorred the sorrow of the sorrowful. He hid not his face from me, but he listened to my cry for help.

25 २५ परमेश्वरा, मोठ्या सभेत मी तुझी स्तुती करीन. तुझे भय धरणाऱ्यांपुढे मी आपले नवस फेडीन.

Of you is my praise in the great congregation; my vows I will pay before those who fear him.

26 २६ गरीब लोक खातील आणि समाधानी राहतील. जे लोक परमेश्वरास शोधत आहेत, ते त्याची स्तुती करतील. तुझे हृदय सर्वकाळ जिवंत राहो.

The afflicted will eat to their heart’s desire, and those who seek after the Lord will praise him. Lift up your hearts forever.

27 २७ सर्व पृथ्वीवरील लोक त्याची आठवण करतील आणि परमेश्वराकडे परत येतील. सर्व राष्ट्रातील कुटूंब तुला नमन करतील.

All will call it to mind, to the ends of the earth, and turn to the Lord; and all tribes of the nations will bow down before you.

28 २८ कारण राज्य परमेश्वरचे आहे, तो जगावर अधिकार करणारा आहे.

For the kingdom belongs to the Lord: he is the Lord of the nations.

29 २९ पृथ्वीवरील सर्व समृद्ध लोक भोजन आणि स्तुती करतील. जे आपला जीव वाचवू शकत नाही, जे सर्व धुळीस लागले आहेत, ते त्यास नमन करतील.

To him will bow down all who sleep in the earth, and before him bend all who go down to the dust, and those who could not preserve their lives.

30 ३० येणारी पिढी त्याची सेवा करणार. ते त्यांच्या पुढच्या पिढीला प्रभूबद्दल सांगतील.

My descendants will tell of the Lord to the next generation;

31 ३१ ते येतील आणि जे जन्मतील त्यांना ते त्याचे न्यायीपण प्रगट करतील, ते म्हणतील त्यानेच हे केले आहे.

they will declare his righteousness to people yet to be born: He has done it.
