स्तोत्रसंहिता 107

1 १ परमेश्वरास धन्यावाद द्या. कारण तो चांगला आहे. आणि त्याची कराराची विश्वसनियता सर्वकाळ टिकणारी आहे.

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.

2 २ परमेश्वराने उद्धारलेले, ज्यांना खंडणी भरून त्याने शत्रूच्या अधिकारातून सोडवले आहे,

Let the redeemed by the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the adversary,

3 ३ त्याने त्यांना परक्या देशातून पूर्व व पश्चिम, उत्तर व दक्षिण या दिशातून एकवट केले आहे.

And gathered out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.

4 ४ ते रानात वैराण प्रदेशातील रस्त्याने भटकले; आणि त्यांना राहण्यास नगर सापडले नाही.

They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way. They found no city to live in.

5 ५ ते खूप भुकेले आणि तान्हेले होते; आणि ते थकव्याने मूर्च्छित झाले.

Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.

6 ६ नंतर त्यांनी आपल्या संकटात परमेश्वरास हाक मारली, आणि त्याने त्यांना त्यांच्या विपत्तीतून सोडवले.

Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses,

7 ७ त्याने त्यांना सरळ मार्गाने नेले यासाठी की, त्या नगरात त्यांना वस्त्ती करावी

he led them also by a straight way, that they might go to a city to live in.

8 ८ अहा, परमेश्वराच्या कराराची विश्वसनियता आणि आश्चर्यकारक गोष्टी त्याने मनुष्यजातीसाठी केल्या त्याबद्दल लोक त्याचा धन्यवाद करोत.

Let them praise the LORD for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works for the descendants of Adam.

9 ९ कारण त्याने तान्हेल्या जिवास तृप्त केले, आणि भुकेल्या जिवाला उत्तम पदार्थांनी भरले.

For he satisfies the longing soul. He fills the hungry soul with good.

10 १० काही कैदी क्लेशाने आणि साखळ्यांनी जखडलेले असता; काळोखात आणि मरणाच्या छायेत बसले आहेत.

Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron,

11 ११ त्यांनी देवाच्या वचनाविरुध्द बंड केले, आणि त्यांनी परात्पराचे शिक्षण नापसंत केले.

because they rebelled against the words of God, and condemned the counsel of the Most High.

12 १२ त्यांने त्यांचे हृदय कष्टाद्वारे नम्र केले; ते अडखळून पडले आणि त्यांना मदत करायला तेथे कोणीही नव्हता.

Therefore he brought down their heart with labor. They fell down, and there was none to help.

13 १३ तेव्हा त्यांनी आपल्या संकटात परमेश्वरास हाक मारली आणि त्याने त्यांना त्यांच्या क्लेशातून बाहेर आणले.

Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.

14 १४ देवाने त्यांना अंधारातून आणि मरणाच्या छायेतून बाहेर आणले, आणि त्यांची बंधणे तोडली.

He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bonds in sunder.

15 १५ परमेश्वराच्या कराराची विश्वसनियता आणि त्याने मनुष्यजातीसाठी केलेल्या आश्चर्यकारक गोष्टीबद्दल लोक त्याचे उपकारस्मरण करोत.

Let them praise the LORD for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works for the descendants of Adam.

16 १६ कारण त्याने पितळेची दारे तोडली, आणि लोखंडाचे गज तोडून टाकले.

For he has broken the gates of bronze, and cut through bars of iron.

17 १७ आपल्या बंडखोरीच्या मार्गात ते मूर्ख होते, आणि आपल्या पापामुळे ते पीडिले होते.

Fools are afflicted because of their disobedience, and because of their iniquities.

18 १८ सर्व उत्तम अन्न खाण्याची इच्छा त्यांना होईना आणि ते मरणाच्या दाराजवळ ओढले गेले.

Their soul abhors all kinds of food. They draw near to the gates of death.

19 १९ तेव्हा त्यांनी आपल्या संकटात परमेश्वरास हाक मारली, आणि त्याने त्यांना क्लेशातून बाहेर आणले.

Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble; he saved them out of their distresses.

20 २० त्याने आपले वचन पाठवून त्यांना बरे केले, आणि त्याने त्यांच्या नाशापासून त्यांना सोडवले.

He sent his word and healed them; he delivered them from their traps.

21 २१ परमेश्वराच्या कराराची विश्वसनियता व त्याने मनुष्यजातीसाठी केलेल्या आश्चर्यकारक गोष्टींबद्दल लोक त्याचे उपकारस्मरण करोत.

Let them praise the LORD for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works for the descendants of Adam.

22 २२ ते त्यास आभाररुपी यज्ञ अर्पण करोत, आणि गाण्यात त्याची कृत्ये जाहीर करोत.

Let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with singing.

23 २३ काही जहाजातून समुद्र प्रवास करतात, आणि महासागरापार व्यवसाय करतात.

Those who go down to the sea in ships, who do business in great waters;

24 २४ ते परमेश्वराची कृत्ये पाहतात, आणि त्याची अद्भुत कृत्ये समुद्रावर पाहतात.

These see the LORD's works, and his wonders in the deep.

25 २५ कारण तो आज्ञा करतो आणि वादळ उठवितो; तेव्हा समुद्र खवळतो.

For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up its waves.

26 २६ लाटा आकाशापर्यंत वर पोहचतात, मग त्या खाली खोल तळाकडे जातात. मनुष्याचे धैर्य धोक्यामुळे गळून जाते.

They mount up to the sky; they go down again to the depths. Their soul melts away because of trouble.

27 २७ ते मद्याप्यासारखे डुलतात आणि झोकांड्या खातात, आणि त्यांची बुद्धी गुंग होते.

They reel back and forth, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits' end.

28 २८ तेव्हा ते आपल्या संकटात परमेश्वरास हाक मारतात, आणि तो त्यांना त्यांच्या क्लेशातून बाहेर आणून वाचवतो.

Then they cry to the LORD in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distress.

29 २९ तो वादळ शांत करतो, आणि लाटांना स्तब्ध करतो.

He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still.

30 ३० समुद्र शांत झाल्यामुळे ते आनंद करतात, तो त्यांना त्यांच्या इच्छित बंदरास आणतो.

Then they are glad because it is calm, so he brings them to their desired haven.

31 ३१ परमेश्वरास त्याच्या कराराची विश्वसनियता आणि त्याने मनुष्यजातीसाठी केलेल्या आश्चर्यकारक गोष्टींबद्दल लोक त्याचे उपकारस्मरण करोत.

Let them praise the LORD for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works for the descendants of Adam.

32 ३२ लोकांच्या मंडळीत तो उंचविला जावो आणि वडिलांच्या सभेत त्याची स्तुती होवो.

Let them exalt him also in the assembly of the people, and praise him in the seat of the elders.

33 ३३ तो नद्यांना रान करतो, पाण्याच्या झऱ्यांची कोरडी भूमी करतो,

He turns rivers into a desert, water springs into a thirsty ground,

34 ३४ आणि फलदायी जमिनीची नापीक जमिन करतो. कारण तेथील राहणाऱ्या वाईट लोकांमुळे.

and a fruitful land into a salt waste, for the wickedness of those who dwell in it.

35 ३५ तो वाळवंटाचे पाण्याचे तळे करतो, आणि कोरडी भूमीतून पाण्याचे झरे करतो.

He turns a desert into a pool of water, and a dry land into water springs.

36 ३६ तेथे भुकेल्यास वसवतो, आणि त्यामध्ये राहण्यासाठी नगर बांधतो.

There he makes the hungry live, that they may prepare a city to live in,

37 ३७ ते नगरे बांधतात त्यामध्ये शेते पेरतात, द्राक्षमळे लावतात, आणि विपुल पिके काढतात.

sow fields, plant vineyards, and reap the fruits of increase.

38 ३८ तो त्यास आशीर्वाद देतो आणि त्यांची खूप वाढ होते, तो त्यांच्या गुरांना कमी होऊ देत नाही.

He blesses them also, so that they are multiplied greatly. He doesn't allow their livestock to decrease.

39 ३९ नंतर यातनामयी अरिष्ट आणि दुःख यांमुळे ते कमी होतात आणि नष्ट होतात.

Again, they are diminished and bowed down through oppression, trouble, and sorrow.

40 ४० तो शत्रूंच्या अधिपतीवर अपमान ओततो, आणि त्यांना रस्ते नसलेल्या रानातून भटकायला लावतो.

He pours contempt on princes, and causes them to wander in a trackless waste.

41 ४१ पण तो गरजवंताना क्लेशापासून सुरक्षित ठेवतो, आणि त्यांच्या कुटुंबांची कळपासारखी काळजी घेतो.

Yet he lifts the needy out of their affliction, and increases their families like a flock.

42 ४२ सरळ मनाचे हे पाहतात आणि आनंदी होतात, आणि सर्व दुष्ट आपले तोंड बंद करतात.

The upright will see it, and be glad. All the wicked will shut their mouths.

43 ४३ जो कोणी ज्ञानी आहे त्याने ह्या गोष्टींकडे लक्ष द्यावे आणि परमेश्वराच्या कराराच्या विश्वसनीयतेच्या कृतीवर मनन करावे.

Whoever is wise will pay attention to these things. They will consider the loving kindnesses of the LORD.
