1 १ समुद्राजवळच्या राणाविषयी ही देववाणी. जसा दक्षिणेचा वादळवारा सर्व काही खरडून नेतो त्याप्रकारे तो रानांतून, भयंकर देशातून येत आहे.

16 १६ कारण परमेश्वराने मला सांगितले, एका वर्षाच्या आत, जसा मोलकरी एका वर्षासाठी नियूक्त केला जातो, त्याच प्रकारे केदारचे वैभव तुम्ही संपलेले पाहाल.
For the LORD said to me, "Within a year, as a worker bound by contract would count it, the glory of Kedar will fail,
17 १७ फक्त थोडेच धनुर्धारी, वीर योद्धा केदार मध्ये उरतील, कारण इस्राएलाचा देव परमेश्वर हे बोलला आहे.
and the residue of the number of the archers, the warriors of the people of Kedar, will be few; for the LORD, the God of Israel, has spoken it."
