1 १ अहरोनाच्या वंशजांची वर्गवारी नादाब, अबीहू एलाजार व इथामार.

And to the sons of Aaron [are] their courses: sons of Aaron [are] Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar,

2 २ पण नादाब आणि अबीहू हे दोघे आपल्या पित्याच्या आधीच मरण पावले. त्यांना अपत्य ही नव्हती. तेव्हा एलाजार आणि इथामार हेच याजक झाले.

and Nadab dieth, and Abihu, in the presence of their father, and they had no sons, and Eleazar and Ithamar act as priests.

3 ३ दावीद व एलाजाराच्या वंशातला सादोक आणि इथामार यांच्या वंशातला अहीमलेख यांनी त्यांच्या नेमणुकीप्रमाणे त्यांच्या सेवेसाठी त्यांची वाटणी केली.

And David distributeth them, and Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their office in their service;

4 ४ इथामारापेक्षा एलाजाराच्या वंशजात वडीलधारी प्रमुख मंडळी अधिक निघाली. एलाजाराच्या वंशजात सोळा जण तर इथामारच्या वंशजात आठ जण प्रमुख होते.

and there are found of the sons of Eleazar more for heads of the mighty men than of the sons of Ithamar; and they distribute them: Of the sons of Eleazar, heads for a house of fathers, sixteen; and of the sons of Ithamar, for a house of their fathers, eight.

5 ५ दोन्ही वंशजातील पुरुषांची निवड चिठ्ठ्या टाकून केली. काहीजणांना पवित्रस्थानाच्या देखभालीचे अधिकारी आणि देवाकडचे अधिकारी असे केले. हे सर्वजण एलाजार आणि इथामार यांच्या वंशजातलेच होते.

And they distribute them, by lots, one with another, for princes of the sanctuary, and princes of God, have been of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.

6 ६ आणि लेव्यांतला लेखक, नथनेलाचा पुत्र शमाया याने राजा व अधिकारी, सादोक याजक, अब्याथारचा पुत्र अहीमलेख, याजक आणि लेवी यांच्या घराण्यातील प्रमुख ह्याच्यासमोर त्यांची नावे लिहिली. चिठ्ठ्या टाकून एलाजाराच्या कुळाच्या वंशातून निवड करण्यात येई आणि पुढच्या वेळेला इथामार यांच्या कुळातील वंशातून निवड करण्यात येई.

And Shemaiah son of Nethaneel the scribe, of the Levites, writeth them before the king and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech son of Abiathar, and heads of the fathers, for priests and for Levites: one house of a father being taken possession of for Eleazar, and one being taken possession of for Ithamar.

7 ७ पहिली चिठ्ठी यहोयारीबाची निघाली. दुसरी यदायाची,

And the first lot goeth out for Jehoiarib, for Jedaiah the second,

8 ८ तिसरी हारीमाची, चौथी सोरीमाची,

for Harim the third, for Seorim the fourth,

9 ९ पाचवी मल्कीयाची, सहावी मयामिनाची,

for Malchijah the fifth, for Mijamin the sixth,

10 १० सातवी हक्कोसाची, आठवी अबीयाची.

for Hakkoz the seventh, for Abijah the eighth,

11 ११ नववी येशूवाची, दहावी शकन्याची,

for Jeshuah the ninth, for Shecaniah the tenth,

12 १२ अकरावी एल्याशिबाची, बारावी याकीमाची

for Eliashib the eleventh, for Jakim the twelfth,

13 १३ तेरावी हुप्पाची, चवदावी येशेबाबाची,

for Huppah the thirteenth, for Jeshebeab the fourteenth,

14 १४ पंधरावी बिल्गाची, सोळावी इम्मेराची.

for Bilgah the fifteenth, for Immer the sixteenth,

15 १५ सतरावी हेजीराची, अठरावी हप्पिसेसाची,

for Hezir the seventeenth, for Aphses the eighteenth,

16 १६ एकोणीसावी पथह्याची, विसावी यहेजकेलाची,

for Pethahiah the nineteenth, for Jehezekel the twentieth,

17 १७ एकविसावी याखीनाची, बाविसावी गामूलची,

for Jachin the one and twentieth, for Gamul the two and twentieth,

18 १८ तेविसावी दलायाची आणि चोविसावी माज्याची.

for Delaiah the three and twentieth, for Maaziah the four and twentieth.

19 १९ परमेश्वराच्या मंदिरात सेवा करण्यासाठी या सर्वांची क्रमाने नेमणूक करण्यात आली. इस्राएलचा परमेश्वर देव याने अहरोनाला जे नियम घालून दिले त्याच नियमांचे पालन त्यांनी मंदिराच्या सेवेसाठी केले.

These [are] their appointments for their service, to come in to the house of Jehovah, according to their ordinance by the hand of Aaron their father, as Jehovah God of Israel, commanded them.

20 २० लेवीच्या इतर वंशजांची नावे खालीलप्रमाणे: अम्रामच्या वंशातील शूबाएल; शूबाएलचे वंशज: यहदाया.

And for the sons of Levi who are left: for sons of Amram, Shubael; for sons of Shubael: Jehdeiah.

21 २१ रहब्याचे वंशज: रहब्याच्या वंशात इश्शिया मुख्य.

For Rehabiah: for sons of Rehabiah, the head Ishshiah.

22 २२ इसहार वंशजापैकी: शलोमोथ. शलोमोथाच्या वंशजातून: यहथ.

For the Izharite: Shelomoth; for sons of Shelomoth: Jahath.

23 २३ हेब्रोनचा थोरला पुत्र यरीया, हेब्रोनचा दुसरा पुत्र अमऱ्या, यहजिएल तिसरा आणि चौथा यकमाम.

And sons of Jeriah: Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.

24 २४ उज्जियेलाच्या वंशातला मीखा. मीखाच्या वंशातला शामीर.

Sons of Uzziel: Michah; for sons of Michah: Shamir.

25 २५ मीखाचा भाऊ इश्शिया, इश्शियाचा पुत्र जखऱ्या.

A brother of Michah [is] Ishshiah; for sons of Ishshiah: Zechariah;

26 २६ मरारीचे वंशज: महली आणि मूशी. याजीयाचा वंशज बनो.

sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi; sons of Jaaziah: Beno;

27 २७ मरारीचे वंशज: याजीयापासून बनो व शोहम व जक्कूर व इब्री.

sons of Merari: of Jaaziah: Beno, and Shoham, and Zaccur, and Ibri.

28 २८ महलीपासून: एलाजार हा महलीचा पुत्र. याला अपत्य नव्हते.

For Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons;

29 २९ कीशाचे वंशज: यरहमेल.

for Kish: sons of Kish: Jerahmeel.

30 ३० महली, एदर आणि यरीमोथ हे मूशीचे पुत्र. हे लेवी होते, त्यांच्या घराण्याप्रमाणे त्यांची यादी करण्यात आली.

And sons of Mushi [are] Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth; these [are] sons of the Levites, for the house of their fathers,

31 ३१ राजा दावीद, सादोक, अहीमलेख आणि याजक व लेवी घराण्यातील प्रमुख यांच्यासमोर त्यांनी चिठ्ठ्या टाकल्या. घराण्यातील श्रेष्ठ मुलाने कनिष्ठाबरोबर चिठ्ठ्या टाकल्या. त्यांनी अहरोन याच्या वंशजाप्रमाणेच चिठ्ठ्या टाकल्या.

and they cast, they also, lots over-against their brethren the sons of Aaron, before David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and heads of the fathers, for priests and for Levites; the chief father over-against his younger brother.
