< Galatia 5 >

1 Christtana eikhoibu ningtamhankhiba adu eikhoina ningtamba oinabagidamaktani. Maram aduna chetna leppu aduga amuk hanna minaigi potpu adubu nasada thonggatchaganu.
It is for freedom that Christ set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not again be held under the yoke of slavery.
2 Tao, Paul eina nakhoida hairi madudi nakhoi un kakpada yajarabadi, Christtadi nakhoida kanaba suklei leitre.
Understand that I, Paul, myself tell you that if you allow yourselves to be circumcised, Christ will avail you nothing.
3 Un kakpada yajariba mi khudingda eina amukka hanna cheksin wa asi hairi madudi mahakna wayel yathang apumba inba tabani.
I again declare to everyone who receives circumcision, that he binds himself to obey the whole Law.
4 Wayel yathang ngaktuna chumhanbinaba hotnariba nakhoi Christtadagi tokhaina tarabani; nakhoi Tengban Mapugi thoujalgi wangmada leirabani.
You have severed yourselves from Christ – you who are seeking to be pronounced righteous through Law; you have fallen away from love.
5 Adubu, eikhoigidamaktadi, Tengban Mapuna eikhoibu mahakki mangda chumhanbigani haiba asina eikhoigi ashani; aduga Tengban Mapugi Thawaigi panggalgi mapanna eikhoigi thajabana eikhoina khourangna ngaijariba adu masini.
For we, by the help of the Spirit, are eagerly waiting for the fulfilment of our hope – that we may be pronounced righteous as the result of faith.
6 Maramdi eikhoina Christta Jisuga amata oina punsinjaba matamda un kakpagi amadi kaktabagi khetnaba karisu leite. Maruoiriba adudi nungsibagi mapanna thabak touriba thajaba aduni.
If we are in union with Christ Jesus, neither is circumcision nor the omission of it anything, but faith, working through love, is everything.
7 Nakhoina ningthina lamjel chelllammi! Achumba adu illamba adudagi kanana nakhoibu thingbage? Kamdouna mahakna nakhoibu themdokpage?
You were once making good progress! Who has hindered you from obeying the truth?
8 Asigumba makhalgi themdokpa asi nakhoibu koubiba Tengban Mapudagi lakpa natte.
The persuasion brought to bear on you does not come from him who calls you.
9 Hamei khajiktana atotpa yam matum apumba kamkhathalli.
A little yeast leavens all the dough.
10 Adubu nakhoina atoppa wakhallon amata louroi haina eina Ibungoda thajei. Aduga nakhoibu chamamnahalliba mahak adu kana kana oirabasu Tengban Mapuna mahakpu cheirak pigani.
I, through my union with the Lord, am persuaded that you will learn to think with me. But the man who is disturbing your minds will have to bear his punishment, whoever he may be.
11 Adubu ichil inaosa, eigi oinadi, un kakpa asi tangaiphadabani haina eina houjik phaoba sandoklabadi, karigi eibu houjik phaoba ot neibiribano? Aduga maduna achumba oiramlabadi eina cross-ki maramda sandokliba asina khudi thiba thokhallamloidabani.
If I, friends, am still proclaiming circumcision, why am I still persecuted? It seems that the cross has ceased to be an obstacle!
12 Nakhoibu pukning olhalliba makhoina un kakpadagi hendokna masa onhanjaramlabadi eina penjaramgadabani.
I could even wish that the people who are unsettling you would go further still and mutilate themselves.
13 Ichil inaosa, nakhoibu ningtamhannaba koubibani. Adubu nakhoigi naning tamba adu hakchanggi apamba adu thunghannabagi oina sijinnaganu. Madugi mahutta nungsibagi mapanna nakhoi amaga amaga thougal tounou.
Remember, friends, to you the call came to give you freedom. Only, do not make your freedom an opportunity for self-indulgence but serve one another in a loving spirit.
14 Maramdi wayel yathang apumba adu yathang amakhak asi ngakpana thunghallabani: “Nakhoina nakhoigi yumlon keironnababu nasamakum nungsiyu”
Indeed, the whole Law has been summed up in this one precept – “You must love your neighbour as you love yourself.”
15 Adubu nakhoina lamlakki sagumna amaga amaga chiknaduna chathoknarabadi, cheksillu nattrabadi amana amabu pummang manghalnaragani.
But, if you are continually wounding and preying on one another, take care that you are not destroyed by one another.
16 Aduna eina hairi, Thawaigi mapanna chatlu, adu oirabadi nakhoina hakchanggi apambasing adu thunghalloi.
This is what I have to say – Let your steps be guided by the Spirit, and then you will never gratify the cravings of your earthly nature.
17 Maramdi hakchanggi apamba aduna thawaigi apamsing adugi maiyokta lei, aduga thawaigi apamba aduna hakchanggi oiba adugi maiyokta lei. Nakhoigi apamba adu nakhoina toudananaba makhoina amaga amaga yetnei.
For these cravings of our earthly nature conflict with the Spirit, and the Spirit with our earthly nature – they are two contrary principles – so that you cannot do what you wish.
18 Nakhoibu Thawai aduna chingbirabadi, nakhoina wayel yathanggi makha pondre.
But, if you follow the guidance of the Spirit, you are not subject to Law.
19 Aduga hakchanggi thabaksing adudi mayek seng-i: nupa nupi lannaba, amotpa thabak, lamchat ludaba,
The sins of our earthly nature are unmistakable. They are sins like these – sexual immorality, impurity, indecency,
20 lai murti latpa, hikap yaikappa, yengthinaba, mot tinnadaba, kalak khambannaba, mei houna saoba, marannai tanba, saona khatnaba, kanglup tannaba,
idolatry, sorcery, quarrels, strife, jealousy, outbursts of passion, rivalries, dissensions, divisions,
21 khambanba, yu ngaoba, makhe langba, aduga masiga mannaba makhei asini. Eina mamangda haikhibagum cheksin wa asi nakhoida hairi: asigumba thabaksing asi touba makhoising aduna Tengban Mapugi leibak adu phangloi.
feelings of envy, drunkenness, revelry, and the like. And I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who indulge in such things will have no place in the kingdom of God.
22 Adubu thawaigi maheidi nungsiba, haraoba, ingthaba, khaangheiba, chanbiheiba, aphaba, thajaba yaba,
But the fruit produced by the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindliness, generosity, trustfulness, gentleness, self-control.
23 pukning tappa, amadi masa khudum chanjabani. Hairibasing asigi maiyokta wayel yathang amata leite.
Against such things there is no law!
24 Aduga Christta Jisugi oikhrabasing aduna hakchang adu madugi phattaba pukning ihulsing amasung apambasing pumnamakka loinana cross-ta hatkhre.
And those who belong to Jesus, the Christ, have already crucified their earthly nature, with its passions and its cravings.
25 Eikhoina Thawaigi mapanna hingbagi maramna, eikhoina thawaigi mapanna chatsu chatsi.
Since our life is due to the Spirit, let us rule our conduct also by the Spirit.
26 Amaga amaga singnaduna amadi khambannaduna eikhoi napal tougumsi.
Do not let us grow vain, and provoke or envy one another.
