സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 90

1 ൧ ദൈവപുരുഷനായ മോശെയുടെ ഒരു പ്രാർത്ഥന. കർത്താവേ, അവിടുന്ന് തലമുറതലമുറയായി ഞങ്ങളുടെ സങ്കേതമായിരിക്കുന്നു;

Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations.

2 ൨ പർവ്വതങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായതിനും അങ്ങ് ഭൂമിയെയും ഭൂമണ്ഡലത്തെയും നിർമ്മിച്ചതിനും മുൻപ് അങ്ങ് അനാദിയായും ശാശ്വതമായും ദൈവം ആകുന്നു.

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.

3 ൩ അങ്ങ് മർത്യനെ പൊടിയിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങിച്ചേരുമാറാക്കുന്നു; “മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരേ, തിരികെ വരുവിൻ” എന്നും അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

You turn man to destruction; and say, Return, you children of men.

4 ൪ ആയിരം സംവത്സരം അവിടുത്തെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ ഇന്നലെ കഴിഞ്ഞുപോയ ദിവസംപോലെയും രാത്രിയിലെ ഒരു യാമംപോലെയും മാത്രം ആകുന്നു.

For a thousand years in your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

5 ൫ അവിടുന്ന് മനുഷ്യരെ ഒഴുക്കിക്കളയുന്നു; അവർ ഉറക്കംപോലെ അത്രേ; അവർ രാവിലെ മുളച്ചുവരുന്ന പുല്ലുപോലെ ആകുന്നു.

You carry them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which grows up.

6 ൬ അത് രാവിലെ തഴച്ചുവളരുന്നു; വൈകുന്നേരം അത് വാടി കരിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നു.

In the morning it flourishes, and grows up; in the evening it is cut down, and wither.

7 ൭ ഞങ്ങൾ അങ്ങയുടെ കോപത്താൽ ക്ഷയിച്ചും അങ്ങയുടെ ക്രോധത്താൽ ഭ്രമിച്ചുംപോകുന്നു.

For we are consumed by your anger, and by your wrath are we troubled.

8 ൮ അങ്ങ് ഞങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങൾ അങ്ങയുടെ മുമ്പിലും ഞങ്ങളുടെ രഹസ്യപാപങ്ങൾ അങ്ങയുടെ മുഖപ്രകാശത്തിലും വച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your countenance.

9 ൯ ഞങ്ങളുടെ നാളുകൾ എല്ലാം അങ്ങയുടെ ക്രോധത്തിൽ കഴിഞ്ഞുപോയി; ഞങ്ങളുടെ സംവത്സരങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങൾ ഒരു നെടുവീർപ്പുപോലെ കഴിക്കുന്നു.

For all our days are passed away in your wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.

10 ൧൦ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ആയുഷ്കാലം എഴുപത് സംവത്സരം; ഏറെ ആയാൽ എൺപത്; അതിന്റെ പ്രതാപം പ്രയാസവും ദുഃഖവുമത്രേ; അത് വേഗം തീരുകയും ഞങ്ങൾ പറന്നു പോകുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

The days of our years are three score years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

11 ൧൧ അങ്ങയെ ഭയപ്പെടുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അങ്ങയുടെ കോപത്തിന്റെ ശക്തിയെയും അങ്ങയുടെ ക്രോധത്തെയും ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവൻ ആര്?

Who knows the power of your anger? even according to your fear, so is your wrath.

12 ൧൨ ഞങ്ങൾ ജ്ഞാനമുള്ള ഒരു ഹൃദയം പ്രാപിക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം ഞങ്ങളുടെ നാളുകളെ എണ്ണുവാൻ ഞങ്ങളെ ഉപദേശിക്കണമേ.

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts to wisdom.

13 ൧൩ യഹോവേ, മടങ്ങിവരണമേ; എത്രത്തോളം താമസം? അടിയങ്ങളോട് സഹതാപം തോന്നണമേ.

Return, O LORD, how long? and let it repent you concerning your servants.

14 ൧൪ കാലത്ത് തന്നെ ഞങ്ങളെ അവിടുത്തെ ദയകൊണ്ട് തൃപ്തരാക്കണമേ; എന്നാൽ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ആയുഷ്കാലമെല്ലാം ഞങ്ങൾ ഘോഷിച്ചാനന്ദിക്കും.

O satisfy us early with your mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

15 ൧൫ അവിടുന്ന് ഞങ്ങളെ ക്ലേശിപ്പിച്ച ദിവസങ്ങൾക്കും ഞങ്ങൾ അനർത്ഥം അനുഭവിച്ച സംവത്സരങ്ങൾക്കും തക്കവണ്ണം ഞങ്ങളെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കണമേ.

Make us glad according to the days wherein you have afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.

16 ൧൬ അങ്ങയുടെ ദാസന്മാർക്ക് അങ്ങയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയും അവരുടെ മക്കൾക്ക് അങ്ങയുടെ മഹത്വവും വെളിപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ.

Let your work appear to your servants, and your glory to their children.

17 ൧൭ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ പ്രസാദം ഞങ്ങളുടെമേൽ ഇരിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ; ഞങ്ങളുടെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ സാദ്ധ്യമാക്കി തരണമേ; അതേ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ സാദ്ധ്യമാക്കി തരണമേ.

And let the beauty of the LORD our God be on us: and establish you the work of our hands on us; yes, the work of our hands establish you it.
